Meet Dr. Mary Juber, a compassionate and experienced veterinarian dedicated to providing in-home pet euthanasia services. Dr. Juber's lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian was sparked by her family's history with animals on dairy farms in Minnesota. Growing up in a small city, her love for cats and all animals flourished, especially when her parents finally allowed her brother to bring home stray cats. This early passion led her to pursue veterinary medicine, graduating from the University of Minnesota in 1986. After completing her DVM, Dr. Juber relocated to Connecticut for an internship in small animal medicine, surgery, and emergency services before accepting a position in general small animal practice. Marriage and family life introduced new priorities and career changes, leading her through various roles including part-time and relief work, homeschooling her two daughters, and serving as a spay/neuter clinic surgeon, shelter veterinarian, and wellness vaccination clinic provider. Throughout her diverse career, she realized that end-of-life care for pets was often rushed and uncomfortable in clinical settings, sparking her commitment to offering a more compassionate alternative. Dr. Juber has found her true calling in providing peaceful in-home euthanasia services. She has completed specialized training, earning her Certified Peaceful Euthanasia Provider (CPEV) certification through the Companion Animal Euthanasia Training Academy (CAETA). Continuously seeking to improve her techniques through education and shared experiences, Dr. Juber is dedicated to making this difficult time as smooth and comforting as possible for pets and their families. When not caring for her patients, she enjoys reading, needlework, church activities, and outdoor adventures with her husband. At home, she treasures time with their long-haired cat, Peanut. Dr. Mary Juber is committed to providing the most comfortable and peaceful experience for pets and their families during end-of-life care, bringing her extensive experience and deep compassion to every home visit.
