Despite the circumstances that brought us to Dr. Angela De Villa, she was absolutely amazing. She was calm, compassionate, and incredibly understanding throughout the entire process. She followed both our cues and Daisy’s, allowing us to move at whatever pace felt right without ever making us feel rushed. Putting my soul cat, Snuggie, to sleep was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I live alone, my family is out of state, and I was terrified of facing that moment without the people I love physically there with me. From the second Dr. Briell Dzierga walked into my apartment, she felt less like a veterinarian and more like a personal friend who had come to help me through the worst day of my life. She cried with me. She laughed with me as I shared stories about Snuggie. She hugged me. She gave me time alone with my baby whenever I needed it. She let me keep my mom on FaceTime throughout the entire process so she could be there with us too. She also helped me understand how to include my kitten in the process so she could see and understand that Snuggie was no longer with us. That was something I never would have known how to navigate on my own, and I am so grateful she thought about not only me and Snuggie, but her too. Dr. Dzierga explained everything as we went and moved at our pace. Nothing felt clinical. Nothing felt rushed. She took pictures of me with Snuggie that I will treasure forever. She even helped me get my baby's paw print on my ink pad so I could have that keepsake. She shared her expertise, but she also shared her own understanding of grief and loss in a way that made me feel so much less alone. I truly do not know how I would have gotten through that day without her. Afterward, she sent me the kindest, most personal card. It was so specific to me and Snuggie that I knew she had genuinely been listening to every story and memory I shared with her in between sobbing. I can barely read it without crying, but I will keep it forever. There are some people you meet during the worst moments of your life who you will never forget. Dr. Briell Dzierga is one of those people for me. She is an angel, and I will never not recommend her. Thank you, Dr. Dzierga, for giving Snuggie such a peaceful goodbye and for taking care of me with so much compassion while I said goodbye to my best friend. I will be forever grateful for you.
Was one of the hardest days of my life and Dr. John made it somewhat easier. Was not pushy. Gave me and my kids plenty of time to say our goodbyes and grieve how we wanted. He allowed our dog to pass quietly while eating hamburgers at home without any stress.

This is the second time I had Dr. Lutri come to our home for our beloved dog to pass over the rainbow in the comfort of her home . She is simply the best !! I can’t recommend her enough. A Compassionate and Dignified Goodbye for Our Beloved Bruno.🫶😢 Our 13-year-old German Shepherd, Bruno, had reached the point where it was time for him to go run with the dogs of Heaven. He had been our loyal companion and a deeply loved member of our family for many years. We could not bear the thought of his final moments taking place in a cold, unfamiliar veterinary room. We wanted him to be at home, surrounded by the people who loved him, in the place where he felt safest. Dr. Randolph came to our home on Saturday, July 25, to help Bruno pass peacefully. He arrived on time, was extremely professional, and showed an extraordinary amount of compassion—not only toward our family, but toward Bruno as well. Dr. Randolph sat on the floor with us for nearly 45 minutes, talking with us and learning about Bruno and just how special he was. He took the time to make Bruno feel calm and comfortable, and he never once made us feel rushed. He treated Bruno with gentleness, dignity, and genuine care throughout the entire process. After Bruno passed, Dr. Randolph stepped outside and allowed us to have a few private moments with him. When he returned, he continued to move entirely at our pace. At our request, he carefully saved some of Bruno’s fur and created a casting of his paw. To our surprise, the paw casting was placed in a beautiful display case, making it an especially meaningful keepsake. Although we were initially told it could take several weeks for Bruno’s remains to be returned, he was brought back to us in only nine days. His ashes were placed in a beautiful urn, and we also received paw prints, nose prints, and a lovely certificate honoring his life. The cost of at-home euthanasia is higher than a traditional veterinary-office visit, but the peace, dignity, love, and compassion Dr. Randolph provided were worth every penny. Bruno did not have to endure the stress of a car ride or spend his final moments in an unfamiliar environment. Instead, he passed peacefully in his own home, surrounded by love. There is no price that can be placed on being able to say goodbye to a beloved family member with such dignity. For anyone struggling with how to help a cherished four-legged companion pass peacefully, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Randolph and CodePet At-Home Pet Euthanasia. We had to say goodbye to our boy Joe and Dr. Warren was incredibly compassionate and supportive throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain everything, answer our questions, and regularly checked in with us to make sure we were doing okay. We were given plenty of time to say goodbye to our boy, and Dr. Warren handled all of the final arrangements with such care and compassion, allowing us to focus on Joe and each other during such a difficult time. Dr. Allison was so extremely kind and caring. She answered all of my questions ahead of time, kept in contact to let me know the status of where Sadie was afterward in moving her to be aquamated, and when she was ready to come home. She made the experience extremely calm and has been so very very kind. Sadie’s passing was peaceful and loving. Sadie never enjoyed strangers much, but Dr. Allison made all of us comfortable. She got down on the floor with me while I held Sadie and explained everything that was going to happen. She let me make decisions and had so much empathy. She even sent me a hand-written sympathy card. Thank you so much.
Saying goodbye to our Rambo was the hardest choice we ever faced. Dr. Heather White came to our home and showed so much grace. She made us feel safe and cared for. She guided us through every step with a gentle touch. We are forever grateful. We strongly recommend her to any family facing this painful time.
I could not have asked for more peaceful and compassion during the journey of losing my best friend. Dr. Bean was kind and thoughtful throw the whole process. I highly recommend this service in the unfortunate even you need help with doing the humane euthanasia. My baby was suffering and it was not prolonged.

Dr Briell is great!! She took time to hear my story about Captains life and was gentle in explaining what was going to happen as he crossed the rainbow bridge. I made a great choice by having her come to the house in his natural surroundings .

Dr. LeBlanc was compassionate, patient, and tireless in helping us through the most difficult process of letting our beloved Charlie transition peacefully and with dignity. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better. From the very first moment, she put us at ease. Euthanasia literally translates to "good death" and as someone who worked in the death industry for 5 years, I am intimately associated with dying, death, and after death processes. Despite this experience, nothing in this life prepares you for the responsibility of choosing the "when" of your beloved companion's death. I had many discussions with our primary vet regarding Bane's impending death and I knew I wanted him to die at home in his favorite spot. They referred me to Codapet in order to make sure Bane would be able to die at home. When the day came, Dr. Wasmoen respectfully entered to our home. She was calm, soft spoken, patient, and reassuring. Her transparency and stable presence during one of the hardest decisions of my life cannot be understated. Although, I will never be able to describe in words the gift she gave my family by helping with this transition; I can say that Bane died peacefully, with dignity, and surrounded by love. THAT is a "good death" to me.
My beloved senior tuxedo cat Neemo got diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma in his mouth and jaw and began to decline very very rapidly. When it was time to say goodbye, I dreaded taking him to a vet clinic or ER where we would have to ride in the car, sit in a waiting room with people and other pets, and not know exactly when we would be seen for a last-minute or walk in appointment. Clicking that schedule button was honestly emotionally one of the most difficult moments I've ever faced, but in my heart I knew it was time, so I was very thankful for the option to schedule so quickly. Dr. Becca and vet tech assistant Morgan in Los Angeles were absolute ANGELS on one of my hardest days ever. When they arrived at my apartment, Dr. Becca and Morgan greeted me and Neemo kindly, and talked with me about his life and what kind of cat he was which really helped me feel more at ease. She then talked me through exactly what the procedure would entail and what I would expect. She talked with me and to Neemo throughout the procedure in a calm, reassuring voice which relieved both his anxiety and mine immensely until his final moment. I was then given a moment alone with my baby to hold him and to say my final goodbye. I truly could not have asked or hoped for a better goodbye for my precious feline child. And the mementos I now have of him- his ashes, prints of his nose and paws, and a clay paw print are beautiful things I will cherish forever. Thank you again to the wonderful Dr. Becca and vet tech Morgan for their compassionate care through CodaPet. Veterinary professionals like them are truly angels in our world <3
I fought putting Floyd to sleep for about a year but I think he was really ready. Even though it was so sad, Sarah was so sweet and calm. She gave us space to just love him and she told us exactly what she was going to do and how Floyd was going to be with each step. He was his usual wonderful self and let her do what she needed to do. She asked us if we wanted some of his hair but he was very dirty because I wasn’t going to torture him with baths. But we have his footprints paper and one on like cement. I love my dog so much and this was the most gentle kind way for him to go live with my other dogs. I cannot thank Sarah enough. I recommend her completely.

Dr. Jem Scott-Emuakpor was professional, caring and so supportive during this difficult time. She took the time to examine our little girl, reviewed her health history and offered support as we discussed this decision. Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Dr. Katie Todd arrived and explained in detail the process, gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes, and made the process as easy as possible. She was very reassuring to my children that we had made the right decision and explained all the options for taking care of the remains and provided us with keepsakes to ease the family’s pain. It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.
We are so grateful that Dr. Courtney White was available to us, last minute nonetheless. We were able to say goodbye to our precious boy Radar in his favorite spot in our backyard. Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.
Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Thank you again for being so wonderful to our sweet baby.
Dr. Lisa made herself available for a last-minute urgent call for us and she couldn’t have been more lovely and caring. This is obviously a challenging and sad time for anyone in the position to call. She treated it with reverence and kindness. Feel lucky to have had her.

When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. Dr Anna was on time, very loving, caring and made us all feel at ease with going forward. She even brought a treat for him, and my very usually picky dog ate it! The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.
We are deeply thankful to Dr. Shannon Nakaya for the care and compassion she showed during our beloved dog Giggsy’s final moments. Saying goodbye was an incredibly painful decision and a very difficult day for us, but her kindness, patience, and gentle approach helped ease the burden. Dr. Nakaya guided us through the process with understanding and treated Giggsy with such tenderness and respect. We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.
Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful. Saying goodbye to our beloved dachshund Lily was one of the most painful moments of our lives, but thanks to Dr. Lisa Stadler with CodaPet, it was also one of the most peaceful and compassionate. Dr. Delia is truly one of the most amazing people I have ever met. She gave us peace of mind by answering all of our questions and throughly explaining what our baby girl was experiencing. We are so happy that our Mira was surrounded by love and comfort in her final moments.
Dr. Amanda Harper was the epitome of professionalism. She was kind and took her time with us and our dog. Smokey was relaxed and felt very loved, at home, with his family. I would never choose to do it differently if we were ever to be in that situation again. This service made a terrible situation as easy as it could ever be. I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. And Dr. Lisa Feig more than meets that requirement. A million thanks to her and Coda Pet.

We decided to use CodaPet when it was time for us to make that decision for our sweet 14 year old St Bernard, Fiona. It was the best thing we could have done. We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
In my life I have been blessed to have a few dogs. Saying goodbye is part of the price we pay. Dr. Gordon made this horrible time easier. I will be eternally grateful for the kindness and compassion she showed not only our precious Baby Girl but also us.
