Dr. Michelle Vosburg was so very kind and sympathetic. She greatly eased such a sad occasion, putting down a much-beloved old dog. Words cannot express how much my husband, our dear old Gigi and I were comforted by Dr. Vosburg. A text later to check on us and then we received a handwritten note expressing her condolences. We can't thank her enough.
I can not say enough good things about Dr. Angela. Our sweet old girl has always despised car rides. When we knew it was time, the idea of driving her to our vet clinic was really weighing on us. This service was the best outcome for a terrible situation. Dr. Angela explained everything from the start. She took her time, was patient, and very thorough. Dr. Loughmiller was very sweet and kind. I was visibly heartbroken over my cat of 16 yrs being diagnosed with cancer. Having to watch him wither away and go from his normal self to literally dying was more than I could bear. I knew I couldn't let him suffer and wanted an in-home, more personal goodbye for him. I want to say thank you so much to Dr. Loughmiller and Coda Pet. I would def recommend them. Our experience with CodaPet and Dr. Vosberg: To prepare ourselves for what to expect, we researched at-home pet euthanasia on the internet. We decided on CodaPet, and our assigned veterinarian was Dr. Michelle Vosburg. From the initial conversation, through the procedure and after, Dr. Vosburg was, sympathetic, kind, and compassionate. We were comforted with her bedside manner with Riley and her goal of making sure Riley was stress-free the entire time. Dr. Vosburg was soft spoken and gentle with Riley. Dr. Vosburg brought Riley, and us, smiles at her passing by treating Riley to a scrumptious chocolate bar. Riley became agitated for a second, but Dr. Vosburg was able to settle our sweet baby. Dr. Vosburg explained each step of the process. After Riley’s passing, we were able to spend as much time with her as we wanted. Dr. Vosburg provided a pet-stretcher to carry out Riley, in a blanket we were able to provide. Riley was carried out on the pet-stretcher, to the back of Dr. Vosburg’s SUV for her final ride to the Rainbow Bridge. Dr. Vosburg drove off slowly, and respectfully. The attention that Dr. Vosburg paid to Riley’s moment was unsurpassed. We felt that our fur baby was a valued member of the Earthly plain, and treated as such. I cant recommend Dr. Michelle Vosburg enough, to help pets and their people through a very difficult experience. Thank you Dr. Vosburg! LR
We had Dr. Gary Hsia come to our house to let our 13 year old Lab Colby go to dog heaven. He was focused on making sure Colby was super comfortable. He was so compassionate to our family, Colby and our other dog. Dr. Gary was a 10 out of 10 - highly recommend Dr Gary and the home euthanasia experience.
On an extremely emotional and sad day, Dr. Clem was a calm, steady presence. Having never gone through this, I had no idea what to expect and the morning started off rough with my sweet dog confirming that it was time to go. Dr. Clem immediately set my heart at ease, sitting down on the floor next to Tucker. She was gentle with him as much as she was with me. I will forever be grateful that she was there and I don’t regret the choice to have her help Tucker cross over. Thank you and bless you❤️
I highly recommend Dr. Goldberg. Dr. Goldberg was more than I expected. She was so kind, caring and supportive. She told me everything that was going to happen and answered all my questions. Losing my Raven was very hard but Dr. Goldberg shared her personal experience which made me feel like I’m not alone. That my feelings are valid with no judgement. Knowing that Raven was in good hands afterwards made me feel comfortable with saying goodbye. Thank you, Dr. Goldberg. I truly am grateful to you for all you have done for me and my family.
Me and my husband had an amazing experience with Dr.Daniela Lutri, she was there for us and our beloved cat at the end of her life. As hard as it was we wouldnt have had it any other way, Dr Daniela provided a calm and caring environment to say goodbye to our baby with her complete understanding and support. She was so transparent about the whole process and made sure we knew we were doing the right thing. She handled our cat with so much respect and care, we knew she would be in good hands even after she was gone. Definitely would recommend this service and particularly Dr Daniela Lutri to help you through this tough time.
She was wonderful and it was the most peaceful passing we have ever been able to give a family dog. We will always consider it the last gift we could give Penny.
Jason came and was very professional and empathetic of our family loss. Mason passed after 17 years with us. He was the best German shepherd we could have had. A real part of the family. Jason came in and handled us and Mason with empathy, compassion and a genuine respect for Mason and our family. He thoroughly explained the process, answered any questions and was very comforting toward us and mason. We were able to participate in the procedure as we were comfortable doing. He did not rush us while we said our final goodbye’s. I could not have asked for a better end for Mason and the comfort Jason provided in this situation. After everything was done and paid for, Jason continued to reach out with updates concerning Mason’s remains and his follow-up in seeing to it that we received the ashes and other personal memorabilia. He personally returned to deliver the remains and memorabilia on our schedule. I could not have made a better choice of provider for his services and his pricing was clearly explained and lower than other providers I had contacted.
The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.
Dr. Schott was really courteous and adaptable to how we wanted to say goodbye to our cat. Wonton loved being outside and so we took her out in the yard and let her roam, enjoy the sunshine and have some fresh catnip. It was really peaceful and Dr. Schott gave us the time we needed with her. Definitely recommend having in home, when it’s time for our other cat, we’ll go with them again.
I appreciate that she came to my house within 2 hours lucky we live close to each other she says. However after Bear was put down she says take your time. But she kept on hovering over me kinda rushing me and I finally said can u go wait in the livingroom. Sure no problem. Then a few minutes later she says her car is getting warm so need to wrap things up. I feel as if I didn’t get enough time. Second I told her I wanted private cremation so assuming from the past paw print and fur clipping came with it. It does not and she never brought it up. Or engraving on the box. So I don’t get Bears paw print clippings and had to bring Bears ashes back to cremation shop to get the engraving. Third I emailed her a couple times asking where Bear is. Can I pick her up when she’s ready? Where is she? When will she be ready? No response. I had to call around to find my pup. Not impressed at all. Quite disappointing actually.
Dr. Amanda Harper was the epitome of professionalism. She was kind and took her time with us and our dog. Smokey was relaxed and felt very loved, at home, with his family. I would never choose to do it differently if we were ever to be in that situation again. This service made a terrible situation as easy as it could ever be. Highly recommend to all my pet-loving friends.
We really appreciated the care that Dr. Monroe showed us. We exchanged many messages leading up to the day, and that attention and time gave us comfort in our decision and timeline. Her genuine compassion created a safe space for the heartbreaking situation. Dr. Monroe was delicate and gentle while caring for our baby. She took her time and explained everything to us, and she made sure we were okay. Being in the warmth of our own home kept the space lower stress for our boy, and I absolutely am glad we chose to do it at home and not in a clinical office.
She told us exactly what to expect & helped our boy pass peacefully with his family by his side and at home.. Thank you Renee for your compassion and skills
Dr. Briell was amazing. She is very compassionate and you can tell she genuinely loves what she does. Providing one last act of love for your pet is such a special thing to be able to do. She was amazing when we had to make the decision to end our Great Dane’s suffering. She made sure we were able to include our other dogs during the euthanasia as well which was something that was very important to my husband and I. Hopefully we will not need her services again anytime soon, however when we do, she will be our first call!
Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Thank you again for being so wonderful to our sweet baby.
We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.
She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our Rosie girl. She explained everything. We received Rosie back in 2 weeks & she was hand delivered. Thank you for taking such good care of her, we appreciate it.
Dr. Gordon performed the euthanasia for my sweet soul dog of 16 years. It was the most peaceful experience I could’ve asked for. She knew exactly what to say and created such a calm environment to spend our final moments together. I’m very grateful for her service.
This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. Dr Anna was on time, very loving, caring and made us all feel at ease with going forward. She even brought a treat for him, and my very usually picky dog ate it! It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.
Best decision ever. While my heart is broken, this option of a kind, gentle passing in our home, with no anxiety for my sweet girl was a blessing for both of us. Dr. Gibson was so sweet and compassionate. It is obvious she was born to do exactly this. Her respect for my baby was so comforting. I won't ever go a different route again.
Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful. When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. Lane made a horrible no win situation more acceptable with his calm demeanor and soothing words. I can't thank Dr Martin enough for helping little Barney come to peaceful end to his life's journey.

Dr. Lutri is the most professional compassionate veterinarian I've ever had to encounter in such a sad time. Dr. Kellie was nothing short of Amazing. Her whole persona and how she carries everything through is so gentle. She explains every process and tailors things to your pets needs. She never rushed. It even started raining during the whole process which means the heavens opened up to allow my boy to go to his new home. Then the sunshine came through so beautifully after. I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
Dr. Duvall did a fantastic job easing our dog out of this world, and in tending to our human needs and concerns as well. She really went the extra mile and was full of compassion for all of us. I can't imagine how the inherently difficult situation could have been made any easier.
We are so grateful that Dr. Courtney White was available to us, last minute nonetheless. We were able to say goodbye to our precious boy Radar in his favorite spot in our backyard. Dr. White was so kind and compassionate, explaining the process as it progressed, allowing us to make the decisions we could. She truly understood the bond we had with our boy. Although we knew that we were making the most loving choice by saying goodbye to our beloved pet Aoife we were so distraught and didn't know what to expect. It was such a hard decision to come to peace with. When Dr. Yang arrived she immediately put us at ease and sat with us next to Aoife and encouraged us to talk about our life with Aoife and share our thoughts and memories. We felt calmer and realized that this choice would bring Aoife dignity and love at the end of her life. Dr. Yang helped to make that possible with her skill and calm manner. Thank you Dr. Yang.
Dr. Gersten was incredible!! One of the kindest and genuinely thoughtful people I’ve met in a long time. I’m so happy our paths crossed when we chose her to help us say farewell to our Luna. The experience was so peaceful and comfortable. So happy we got to do something so special in the comfort of our own home. Thank you again for making such a difficult experience pleasant and loving. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone we know!
We will always be grateful for the kindness and compassion Dr. Canty and her assistant provided for and our family from the moment they arrived. They explained everything gently, gave us all the time we needed, and made sure Mischa was comfortable and surrounded by love in her own home. Because of their care, our nearly 17-year-old girl was able to pass peacefully and with dignity. They never made us feel rushed and treated Mischa as if she mattered to them, not just as a patient.

Dr. Katie was amazing! She handled everything so professionally yet personally too. Ruger will be so missed by many (as she can attest to, she said it was the biggest crowd she'd had, there were 9 of us) and I will never take my pets to a cold impersonal clinic to pass if I can help it. Having your pet pass at home where they're comfortable and familiar was such a blessing!

I am sharing this because I would never want another pet owner to go through what I experienced during one of the most painful moments of my life. I arranged for her to come to my friend’s home to help my ESA dog pass peacefully. I paid an additional $100 for her to come on her day off because I wanted to ensure my dog had a calm and gentle goodbye. I was told I could take as much time as I needed with him. When she arrived, she initially seemed kind and comforting. However, after I signed the paperwork, the experience began to feel rushed and disjointed. While I was trying to spend my final moments focusing on my dog, she continued engaging with him. My dog was very people-oriented, so he naturally stayed focused on her, which made it difficult for me to have the quiet, personal time I expected with him. During the procedure, my dog reacted suddenly when the needle was inserted. I became very upset and immediately asked if he was okay. In that moment, I needed reassurance and support, but I felt alone and overwhelmed. After he passed, I asked for private time with him because I was devastated. I was told, “I’ll give you five minutes,” and then later given another short window. This felt very different from what I had been told beforehand about being able to take my time, and it added to the emotional distress of the situation. I was also not given the option to keep his body overnight, which others did provide to me as an option. I was told certain keepsakes would be included, such as nose clay prints, but the crematory later confirmed they do not provide those items. The cremation process caused additional confusion and distress. I was told by the doctor that my dog’s cremation had already started, and that because of this I would not be able to see him again. This created urgency and emotional shock in the moment, and led me to immediately reach out to the crematory for clarification. I had to locate the crematory myself—it was the second one I called, as the name was never provided to me at any point. After contacting them, I learned that my dog had not yet even been received. This discrepancy added to the emotional distress during an already traumatic time. I was also initially faced with the possibility of paying an additional $250 just to see my dog again, which was later compensated by CodaPet. Additionally, when it was time to bring my dog to the vehicle, there was another person present in the car who I had not been informed about beforehand. Carrying my dog after his passing was already extremely painful, and the lack of communication about this added to the distress of that moment. My dog was my family, and this experienc was incredibly difficult. I understand that every situation is different, but I hope this helps other pet owners ask questions, clarify expectations ahead of time, and ensure they feel fully comfortable with the person they choose to help them say goodbye.

Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better.
