In my life I have been blessed to have a few dogs. Saying goodbye is part of the price we pay. Dr. Gordon made this horrible time easier. I will be eternally grateful for the kindness and compassion she showed not only our precious Baby Girl but also us.
Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.
Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Thank you again for being so wonderful to our sweet baby.

Saying goodbye to our beloved dachshund Lily was one of the most painful moments of our lives, but thanks to Dr. Lisa Stadler with CodaPet, it was also one of the most peaceful and compassionate. Dr. Alexander was very kind and gentle when helping my Kelsey transition. I really appreciate her explaining what to expect so that my kids would all be prepared for what they might see. Dr Schmillen is very kind and compassionate. My sweet pup passed in August. My other pup, who was her daughter, passed in December. I am grateful this was able to happen at home where they felt safe and comfortable. I would recommend Dr. Schmillen to anyone.

Dr. Josh is a blessing to anyone that faces the very difficult decision to let their pet go. Home euthanasia was the perfect option for my girl Maddie. She was extremely fearful of strangers and Dr. Josh was sensitive to that and gave me the option to give Maddie her sleeping medication before he came into the home as not to cause her any stress. Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Dr. Katie Todd arrived and explained in detail the process, gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes, and made the process as easy as possible. She was very reassuring to my children that we had made the right decision and explained all the options for taking care of the remains and provided us with keepsakes to ease the family’s pain. Dr. Becca and her assistant Morgan were so kind and professional. This was the 1st time we helped a pet cross the rainbow so we didn't know what to expect but really needed to help our dog ease his way. Dr. Becca explained the process in a kind and gentle manner, it helped to feel their experienced knowledge. They addressed our dog in a personal manner and noted his cute special features, it was like talking to another pet owner. We were able to share anecdotes of our dog which made it feel like we were celebrating his beautiful life. They gave us plenty of private time to be with him before he was eased through the process. I felt like our dog was in the best hands when Dr. Becca swaddled our dog in a blanket and carried him away for cremation. After a beautiful life with us, Dr. Becca & Morgan's kindness and experience helped our 15+ yr. old dog Jimmy's life come in full circle. They came back in a week with the beautiful urn we chose with Jimmy's name engraved on it, and the paw print that was unexpectedly meaningful to me. They were so kind to bring flowers to honor Jimmy and saved us locks of his fur that I requested, after forgetting to clip some myself. I highly recommend Dr. Becca and Morgan to anyone in this difficult time. I am so grateful and feel at ease for how Jimmy crossed his rainbow. Thank You.
He was very charismatic and welcoming to both our dogs, even offering a treat. He was very approachable and respectful to us. It really made the process a lot easier for us and felt it was okay to cry in front of him. I'd recommend him to others if needed. Thank you again!
We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.
Dr. Mumm was very compassionate and empathetic. She thoroughly explained the process and what we should expect. Dr. Mumm made the extremely difficult decision to send my beloved pet to “Rainbow Bridge” an easier one. Thank you, Dr.Mumm.
Dr. Deborah Perzak was so very kind to our family on one of the hardest days of our lives. Our dog was 15 years old and making the decision to let him go was such a hard one to make, but Dr. P was so compassionate and walked us through each step. Dr. Whala made one of the most difficult days of our lives a little bit easier. She was incredibly kind, professional and helped guide us through the process. I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. And Dr. Lisa Feig more than meets that requirement. A million thanks to her and Coda Pet.
We are deeply thankful to Dr. Shannon Nakaya for the care and compassion she showed during our beloved dog Giggsy’s final moments. Saying goodbye was an incredibly painful decision and a very difficult day for us, but her kindness, patience, and gentle approach helped ease the burden. Dr. Nakaya guided us through the process with understanding and treated Giggsy with such tenderness and respect. We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
Dr. Becca and her assistant were warm and professional, providing comfort during one of the hardest days I've had in a long time. They were communicative, thoughtful, kind and helped my dog transition in a peaceful, loving manner. Cannot thank them enough.
M y prayers for my sweet aging pup Trixie always included a request that God continue to grant her a peaceful life and when the time came a perfect end. Dr. Bruker’s compassion for animals and their owners, and respect for the moment at hand was evident from the instant he arrived at our home, knelled down on the floor to Trixie, and quickly befriended her. His process was unobtrusive and gentle and gave us time to love her, assure her, and say goodbye to her. She passed calmly and peacefully. We decided to use CodaPet when it was time for us to make that decision for our sweet 14 year old St Bernard, Fiona. It was the best thing we could have done. Dr Jason Doolittle made sure the experience was peaceful and went at a pace we were comfortable with. He explained in detail everything that would happen and was very gentle with Fiona. When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. Lane made a horrible no win situation more acceptable with his calm demeanor and soothing words. I can't thank Dr Martin enough for helping little Barney come to peaceful end to his life's journey.

It was really the best choice I ever made for good 'ol dog Bennie at 19.5 years old. Not only could the closest people to him be close to him in the comfort of his home, but his other fur friends could be there with him as well so they could understand why he left. It was a very peaceful passing and I couldn't thank Dr. Martin enough for his kind and passionate care for my beloved Bennie.
Dr. Kelsey Jones is an angle. We had to suddenly make a decision on a Saturday morning to put our 18 year old baby down due to worsening health issues. I was able to get an appointment in the later afternoon. Dr. Jones called a little before to speak with me and see if I had any questions. She arrived on time and spent time talking with me about my pet and life. Dr. Jones throughly explained everything step by step as she went and at my speed. She is so caring, empathic, and compassionate. I can’t recommend her enough.
Dr. Lisa made herself available for a last-minute urgent call for us and she couldn’t have been more lovely and caring. This is obviously a challenging and sad time for anyone in the position to call. She treated it with reverence and kindness. Feel lucky to have had her.

Best decision ever. While my heart is broken, this option of a kind, gentle passing in our home, with no anxiety for my sweet girl was a blessing for both of us. It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.
Chloe was the perfect dog (for me). To lose her is heartbreaking. Without ever meeting Dr Courtney White, I felt an immediate connection. She was very intuitive, helping us navigate a very personal and difficult decision. Chloe had become extremely anxious and confused lately, my biggest concern was that she not experience more of that. Dr. Courtney saw to it! My sweet little dag died very peas fully in my arms.
Dr. Katie was amazing! She handled everything so professionally yet personally too. Ruger will be so missed by many (as she can attest to, she said it was the biggest crowd she'd had, there were 9 of us) and I will never take my pets to a cold impersonal clinic to pass if I can help it. Having your pet pass at home where they're comfortable and familiar was such a blessing!
Dr. Lauren is very nice,she has helped us tremendously in dealing with Peanut’s loss. She is very knowledgeable and very caring. She even sent us a card after Peanut’s passing. We really appreciate her helping us in the difficult time that we had to let go of our Peanut. Thank you so much.

Dr. Pilago showed so much care and compassion when we had to make the painful decision to put our handsome pup Rodney to sleep. I highly recommend her.
Dr. Salerian was so very sweet and empathetic. She makes you feel like a friend visiting, listening, and not rushing things. I had to make the difficult decision to end the pain and suffering of my 2 year old sweetheart cat, Mac. I really feel it’s harder emotionally and mentally having to make the choice rather then your fur babies passing away on their own , but Dr. Meagan definitely put me at ease. I wish I could write more to convey my thoughts better but of course I’m crying over missing my beautiful boy. So, as a pet owner from everything from dogs, birds, pigs, etc. I have personally referred Codapet and Dr Meagan to 4 different veterinary clinics, friends, and family in Southeast Louisiana!
Kristen was an angel at the time we needed one most. She came in to our house and reassured us we were making the right decision. We will always be grateful for her intervention at a time that we were so vulnerable.

The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.
Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful. She is an amazing human and is excellent at what she does. I am so grateful. Thank you so much Dr Delia.
