Dr. Goldberg was wonderful. She provided sincere compassion and care, and helped make Kody’s final moments peaceful. As difficult as it was to say goodbye, she made things easier.
When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. Lane made a horrible no win situation more acceptable with his calm demeanor and soothing words. I can't thank Dr Martin enough for helping little Barney come to peaceful end to his life's journey.
We are so thankful Dr. Gary helped us with our fifteen-year-old cat, Buddy. His kindness and compassion made a heartbreaking event a little bit easier. He’s genuine and caring and made sure we had time to say and do all that we needed to before Buddy passed. We are forever grateful.
I cannot overstate how incredibly compassionate, professional, and caring Dr. Mills was with our family and our cat, Murray, on his most difficult day. She worked us into her already full schedule due to our emergency needs. Dr. Mills was able to adjust her standard routine to meet our needs and make everything as easy as possible for our Murray. She was so respectful of Murray and our family and she explained everything that was happening before she moved to the next step. I can’t give her enough praise, and I am so thankful that she provides such a critical & compassionate service.
When we unfortunately had to find someone to euthanize our beloved dog Auggie, we did a lot of research and talked to many companies to find the right professional to help us in our home. It was important for us to do this at home and make our dog feel comfortable! We received a recommendation for Dr. John Murry through Code a Pet and we are very thankful that we did. He was very communicative prior to arriving at our house and right away made us feel very at ease, at least as much as we could considering what we were about to do. Once he arrived he took the time to explain the process, how it would be done and to insure that we were as comfortable as possible and that our dog would not feel any pain. He was very considerate and compassionate the whole time. He took the time to ask about Auggie and listened while we shared stories and our history together. We have had to unfortunately do this for our prior dog and 2 cats, and wish we could have used Dr. Murry and could have done this at home like we did with our dog Auggie. It was so much more serene and comfortable for our pet to be home in his familiar environment. I highly recommend this process and especially Dr. John Murry! We couldn't have been happier all things considered. Thank you Dr. Murry!
Dr. Sara was absolutely the kindest person, we were so torn on what to do with the poor older dog and we knew he was in such pain. Caring Pathways and Dr. Sara were exactly what we needed in this tough decision and heartbreaking reality.
I want to express how truly wonderful Dr. Nathalie made our experience during a tough time. My husband and I were recommended by a friend to reach out regarding our 17 yr old dog whom unfortunately reached his final chapter. The staff who contacted us after leaving a voicemail nothing but kind and amazing, but Dr. Nathalie went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make it as comfortable for us as possible. She came into our home with so much love and patience. She spent over an hour explaining EVERYTHING of what we would experience with losing our Jax. She showed true compassion and care for not only him but for us. She texted us moments after leaving to let me know he arrived safe to be cremated. She continued to check in on us through the following days and even reached out to make sure his urn arrived home safe. She also provided a beautiful keepsake of his paw. I cant express enough how wonderful she truly is. She CARES and it’s very clear. I am beyond thankful and grateful for having her through this. THANK YOU DR. Nathalie for all you do.
The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.
Dr. Torres made this tragic moment for our family a much easier transition than we ever expected. She was so gentle with Nelli. When she arrived she explained what to expect. She encouraged us to live on Nelli and talk to her during the procedure. She made paw prints and nose prints for us and a key chain with Nelli’s hair. She was very kind to our entire family. We would recommend her to anyone that found themselves needing to make the hard decision of a humane euthanasia for their pet.
Dr. April was an amazing support during this time. I feel so fortunate that she was able to be with us as she had such empathy for what I was feeling and was comforting and reassuring that this was the best decision. She let us take the time we needed. It was awful saying goodbye but she is a very kind soul.
Dr. Gordon performed the euthanasia for my sweet soul dog of 16 years. It was the most peaceful experience I could’ve asked for. She knew exactly what to say and created such a calm environment to spend our final moments together. I’m very grateful for her service.

I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. Dr Heirich is amazing. She came to my house to do the euthanasia of my beloved cat who had cancer. She was empathetic and practical. She explained everything she was doing before and during. Even my cat loved her and actually went to her knowing she was going to ease his pain. Dr Heirich made a very hard experience, peaceful and comforting. Thank you Dr Heirich.

Wanda was 14 years old. She was such a big part of our family, we couldn’t imagine saying goodbye to her at the vet’s office. Everyone was here with her, including Kiko our 6 year old rescue. Dr John was everything we needed that day. Patient, understanding, compassionate and professional. Dr. Lane Martin was fantastic. He was very responsive, kind and friendly although not under the best circumstances. Very calm and professional. The only thing I was confused about was I was given one price over phone, then it tripled when he wrote up papers.
When we knew it was time to send our dog Charlie over the Rainbow Bridge, my wife and I didn't want his last moments to be shaking and terrified in a vet office. Dr. Bailey came to our home, spoke with us about the process, and caringly got us through the process of putting him to sleep. Charlie went over the bridge in peace without any pain or anxiety. She genuinely cares about the animals comfort and the pet owners grief and anxiety of making such a difficult decision. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs to put their pet out of it's suffering and prefers to do it at home, she is wonderful.
It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.
Dr. Amy went above and beyond for me and Mayhem. She called me in the evening to discuss the plan and made accommodations despite not being availability. She made the process as easy as possible. On March 11th, 2026 our family had to say goodbye to our beloved Karma. Our 6-1/2 year old was not only a loved family member, but she was the leader of our Fur Pack and a faithful service Dog. Upon making the tough decision to euthanize her, we made an appointment with Dr. Dzierga. Dr Dzierga arrived, took time to explain the entire process to us, listened to stories about Karma and brought her lots of treats. We never felt rushed, had lots of time to say goodbye even though it wasn’t easy. Every interaction Dr Dzierga had with Karma she treated her respect and like she was her own dog, always petting her and comforting her. Dr Dzierga not only listened to everything we shared about Karma, but then a card arrived a few days later and she took the time to include a personal note commenting about some of the things we told her. We were so touched by this. Dr Dzierga allowed Karma to have her pain taken away peacefully, and in the comfort of her own home with Friends and Family with her. Karma is safely back home where she’ll remain furever. Thanks again Dr Dzierga.

Andrea was very compassionate, communicative and empathetic when she came to help our 15 year old Border Terrier - Bella, rest in peace. We knew after many episodes of illness this was the end of her struggle. Dr. Dover came out on a Sunday, exactly at the time we requested. She asked questions about Bella and gave us expectations on what would happen. It all went smoothly and as best it could under the circumstances. She took her gently after we said our goodbyes. Within about a week, we got Bella’s ashes back from Peaceful Paws in a very nice wooden urn - along with a footprint, a little fur and a certificate. Would highly recommend Andrea and Peaceful Paws.
Dr. Gersten was incredibly kind, compassionate, and informative during one of the hardest moments of my life. She made the process of saying goodbye to my beloved dog feel peaceful and respectful, taking the time to explain everything and allowing me the space to be present. What meant even more to me was that two weeks later, she personally brought Lilly’s ashes to my home. That level of care and thoughtfulness is something I will never forget. I’m so grateful to have had her support during such a difficult time. She truly goes above and beyond for both her patients and their families.

Dr. Renee Schott provides an amazing service. She turns a difficult time into an experience of knowing that your family friend moved on in a calm, painless, and peaceful manner. There’s no good way to go through this, but using Dr. Schott is a decision you will be glad you made. She makes your pet, you, and your family members all feel as ease with the transition.
Dr. Banks was very kind and compassionate during one of the most difficult decisions I've ever had to make. She took the time to explain what would take place and gently introduced herself to Murphy so he would feel comfortable with her. She also respected the time line that we had discussed earlier for the procedure . Her comforting words, reassurance, and professionalism along the way, while making sure he was comfortable in his final moments with us, meant the world to me. She was even kind enough to let me carry him to her car so I could say my final goodbye. I miss my little one tremendously, but I take comfort in knowing that he had the very best of care thanks to Dr. Banks.
Dr Anna Peterson took care of the end of life needs for my buddy/family member, Mallory. He gave me a good life and I and my daughter gave him one right back. Won’t lie I was a blithering sobbing mess but Dr Anna handled it with respect and compassion for both Mallory and I. As much as any end of life isn’t by anyways an enjoyable experience, Dr Anna and the rest of the crew phone staff, cremation staff took care of all the needs. Thank you Dennis

Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Thank you again for being so wonderful to our sweet baby.
Dr. Duvall did a fantastic job easing our dog out of this world, and in tending to our human needs and concerns as well. She really went the extra mile and was full of compassion for all of us. I can't imagine how the inherently difficult situation could have been made any easier.
This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. Saying goodbye to our beloved dachshund Lily was one of the most painful moments of our lives, but thanks to Dr. Lisa Stadler with CodaPet, it was also one of the most peaceful and compassionate. We decided to use CodaPet when it was time for us to make that decision for our sweet 14 year old St Bernard, Fiona. It was the best thing we could have done. We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.

I was worried about the state of my house with smells, due to having an elderly animal who was unable to go outside to potty. I was so worried about it, I considered carrying him outside for the euthanasia, which was not where I wanted it. She was so kind, reassuring and made me feel comfortable to let her in. She walked us through the entire process, making sure we were ready and allowing us to keep Puppy right where we wanted him to be. It was an extremely hard time but Dr. Rizzo was absolutely amazing through it all. I'm so thankful this opportunity exists and have already recommended her to friends. This is the second time our family has used this service and the first with Dr. Earls. She was incredible in such a traumatic time. My sweet dog started failing fast and we scheduled it same day as we made the final decision. I cried the entire time and not once did Dr. Earls make me feel stupid or small. She listened to me, showed me such empathy, and talked me through every step. She also waited for my permission before each time she moved on so I was ready. I am grateful that if I had to go through something so sad, it was with someone like Dr. Earls.
We had a great experience with Dr. Randolph. He took care of our baby and made sure we were doing well. He has a calming demeanor and was able to explain everything very well as he was getting things done. He brought our little baby’s ashes back to the house within a week. Overall the service was great. I do not wish we go through anything like this but if we ever do, I will be definitely calling Dr. Randolph for his services.
We are deeply thankful to Dr. Shannon Nakaya for the care and compassion she showed during our beloved dog Giggsy’s final moments. Saying goodbye was an incredibly painful decision and a very difficult day for us, but her kindness, patience, and gentle approach helped ease the burden. Dr. Nakaya guided us through the process with understanding and treated Giggsy with such tenderness and respect. Her compassion and professionalism truly made all the difference during this heartbreaking time.
Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.
Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Dr. Katie Todd arrived and explained in detail the process, gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes, and made the process as easy as possible. She was very reassuring to my children that we had made the right decision and explained all the options for taking care of the remains and provided us with keepsakes to ease the family’s pain. Thank you so much Dr.Todd in doing what has to be one of the world’s toughest jobs!
Dr. Katie Todd was so kind and informative. She explained the process and answered all of our questions. Our sweet girl is at peace and out of pain and I couldn't have asked for a better experience for her.
Dr. Katie was amazing! She handled everything so professionally yet personally too. Ruger will be so missed by many (as she can attest to, she said it was the biggest crowd she'd had, there were 9 of us) and I will never take my pets to a cold impersonal clinic to pass if I can help it. Having your pet pass at home where they're comfortable and familiar was such a blessing!

Dr Divine came to our house to provide an in-home euthanasia for our elderly family dog. She was caring, and gentle and walked us through each step and process. Our dog went to the rainbow bridge in complete comfort and in a peaceful surrounding. Dr Divine provided a beautiful good-bye during a time when our hearts were hurting. Thank you
March 12, 2026 we knew it was our dog The Rudy's last day. We were fortunate to fine Codapet and people had posted about Dr. Rebecca Walton. She came to our home with her assistant Morgan. Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful. We were all devastated when it came time to put our beloved Nani to rest. I'm very glad that we were able to find Dr. Lowman to perform the procedure at our house. Dr. Lowman was very sensitive and empathetic to our feelings. She had a gentle yet professional way about her. She showed competency... someone who's done this many times before but also recognizing that it's different every time. Our Nani went to the rainbow bridge peacefully.
I had to put my 9 year old Husky Lizzie down due to illness. Dr. Torres did everything she could to make the process as painless as possible. She spent time playing with Lizzie beforehand and was very kind and caring with her and me. Her death happened very quickly and she gave me plenty of time to say goodbye and told me every step of the way what to expect. This was the most loving and dignified way I could think of to say good bye to my little baby Lizzie.
Dr Colbert was so caring and inspirational in helping us transition LT in this difficult time process. We are forever grateful for her caring and nurturing position in such a trying time.
We couldn’t have asked for a more compassionate, kind, understanding person to guide us through that really tough day. Dr. Dawn was so gentle and caring toward Lucy, our cat. She truly made that emotional passage for us and Lucy a calm, meaningful experience.
Best decision ever. While my heart is broken, this option of a kind, gentle passing in our home, with no anxiety for my sweet girl was a blessing for both of us. Dr. Gibson was so sweet and compassionate. It is obvious she was born to do exactly this. Her respect for my baby was so comforting. I won't ever go a different route again.
On what was one of the most difficult of days, Stephanie offered a calm compassionate presence. I chose to put my 19 year old Cat down as she was showing all the signs of an immenent departure - and I did not want her last hours to be painful. When Stephanie arrived she offered as brief consult to help me sort through if this was the right time. After I reviewed what was going on with her, and made peace to move forward, she identified possible scenarios of how my Cat would react. She held space for me to say goodbye. She took great care in how she administered the different medications -- and I am grateful that my cat passed quickly, quietly and peacefully. The memory of that day is so deeply painful. But I am grateful for Stephanie's kindness and empathy - and my positive experience with her makes the memory less painful. On a procedural note - she gives an oral sedative before a shot sedative. This ensured my cat never experienced pain or discomfort. I've read some accounts of animals reacting very badly to the shot sedative, so I am grateful my cat did not have to experience this in her last moments.
We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
Dr. Lisa made herself available for a last-minute urgent call for us and she couldn’t have been more lovely and caring. This is obviously a challenging and sad time for anyone in the position to call. She treated it with reverence and kindness. Feel lucky to have had her.

Keri was such a kind person and made this horrible day for our family as easy on us and our beloved Loki as possible. Our dog Loki was comfortable with her from the moment she arrived. She showed real care and concern for us all and showed Loki so much love. She was gentle and not rushed, guided us step by step through the process and did not make the situation uncomfortable or strained by having an outsider there. We really appreciated the gentle and kind way she approached us all, especially Loki, she made a terribly sad day less bad for our family. Highly recommend Keri.

Dr. Allison made the best out of a terrible moment in our lives. I will never forget how kind and gentle and thoughtful she was. I am so appreciative of all she did for us and our girl. I cant imagine enduring this in an impersonal vet office rather than the comfort and familiarity of home. Thank you for reigniting my faith in humanity! You are doing God’s work!

Dr. Norman was wonderful in helping our pet pass away peacefully at home. She was professional, compassionate and genuinely kind. We would highly recommend Dr. Norman and CodaPet for those looking for in home euthanasia services.
While we were 100% certain that our dog was dying and needed to be euthanized, it seemed strange in hindsight that Dr Izlar didn’t examine her directly or ask to see her medical records before performing the procedure. Isn’t that part of a doctor’s responsibility to confirm that the dog is terminally ill before going forward? She was very direct, explained the process and was respectful toward us. I think we just aren’t familiar with how another vet would have handled the same situation if we sowed up at their office and asked them to euthanize our dog. I pray this is our only experience like this.
Dr. Kim was an absolute angel! She made the passing of our sweet Belle (15 year old blue tick) so much easier. Her compassion and just overall presence during such a hard time was so comforting. I will be recommending the at home service to anyone I know who has an elderly dog.
