There are no words to describe how kind, compassionate, understanding, and overall amazing Dr. Natalie Dennis was. I work with animals so I fully understand how hard her job is offering euthanasia services, it can take an emotional toll on anyone, but she handles it so gracefully making sure not only your fur baby but you are also comfortable and okay during the entire process. I learned about CodaPet after getting a brochure at my vet’s office. Pixie was nearly 17 when her time came but it did not make my decision any easier, but I wanted it to be at home. Coda’s staff were wonderful and walked me through the entire process. They were professional, understanding, and empathetic. When Dr. Peterson arrived at my house, I was immediately put at ease by her calm, caring manner. She was so gentle with Pixie, and explained every step she was taking along the way. Luckily the procedure didn’t take long and it was peaceful, for which I’m eternally grateful. The Coda website also has many resources that have helped greatly in the days since Pixie’s passing. I did opt to have Pixie’s ashes returned to me but I can’t speak to that as I have not yet received them; overall I am impressed with the service Coda provided and can’t tell you how glad I am to have found them. Dr. Devlin was great with us and Jax during the process. He explained everything thoroughly and thoughtfully. He made us feel like he was truly there to help us and Jax through this difficult time and we were not rushed. He made sure Jax was as comfortable as possible.
Dr. Haros was amazing. He was very gentle and kind and explained every step of the process. He was not rushing the process and gave us plenty of time to say goodbye to our sweet Leia. If you are ever faced with this difficult decision I would highly recommend Dr. Haros.
I can’t speak highly enough of Dr. Martin. He was available at the exact time we needed someone to come and he showed so much care for my beloved cat Winter and our family. He was willing to work in a cramped space on the balcony so that we could enjoy the fresh air in Winter’s last moments of life. Her death was so peaceful and she showed no fear or discomfort at all. I’m so glad this service was available and that Dr. Martin could help our family. It’s difficult to put a beloved pet to sleep but when the time comes, it’s so much better to be able to do it at home on your own terms.
Our family is so grateful to Dr Kim for coming to our home to help us say goodbye to our beloved Aldo. We could not bear the thought of taking him to a clinic for our final moments together. Dr Kim was wonderful throughout the time she spent with us and afterwards. Chico was euthanized at our home by Dr. Meadows and his assistant. They let us set the pace and spent time comforting us as they helped our sweet rescue pup (who was a little skittish around people) pass peacefully and quickly. It has been heart-wrenching to lose a dog at only four years of age due to cancer. Dr. Meadows and his assistant guided all of us through this difficult time with compassion and kindness, and even sent a personalized sympathy card afterwards to honor Chico. It’s never an easy decision, but if it’s one you need to make, this is the gentlest way to go, and I would highly recommend Dr Meadows for in-home pet euthanasia.
We had an appointment scheduled for an upcoming Friday and we knew Tuesday morning we couldn't wait. Dr. Carol Earls came same day and was so kind and peaceful and caring. She was patient, calmly explained the process to us, answered our questions, and made sure we felt comfortable and not rushed. It was the first time we've used in-home euthanasia services and I honestly wouldn't do it any other way in the future. It was a far more peaceful experience for not just us but our Lilly girl too.
Dr. Mumm was incredible. She called the morning of the appointment and talked about the process. She offered to come earlier than the scheduled appointment time if that would make it easier on us. When she got to our house she took time to get to know our Sunshine a little bit and talk about what was going on with her. She also let me talk about Sunshine, my memories of her and what a wonderful dog she has been for us. She was so kind and reassured us that we were doing the best thing for my little girl. We have lost many pets due to old age, but this was the hardest time ever. Thank you to Dr. Mumm for making it as gentle as possible.
Dr. Dzierga was very caring. She was thorough in explaining everything that she was doing and how our dog would progress. She made sure the people who picked up our dog were there in a timely manner.
Dr. Marlene was really amazing. She did a thorough examination of our Xena and reassured us that we were doing the right thing. We had to make the very unexpected decision to have our baby cross the rainbow bridge and she offered amazing support and kindness while we grieved. She explained the process very well and kept us updated every step of the way. She was also so great with our toddler and was so very patient and helped to include him in the process which was so meaningful. Having to say goodbye to our baby was one of the hardest moments of our lives but being able to do it at home with our child and other dog there was worth every penny. When my 17-year-old little cat, Be’en, took a nosedive with his health one day not long ago, I was gutted, of course, but even more so at the thought of subjecting him to a trip to the vet. My vet kindly sent me a list of options for at-home euthanasia, and I was beyond relieved to find that Dr. Perzak was available later that afternoon. As Be’en and I waited for her, it was very clear that he was ready to go. Dr. P showed up exactly when she said she would and did everything possible to make both Be’en and me comfortable. Her warmth, understanding, and consideration for both of us touched me deeply, and I’m beyond grateful that she made it possible for me to give Be’en this last gift of a quiet passing at home, in his bed, in my arms. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with LACK of DIGNITY!!!! I couldn't believe how heart-breaking this experience was for our family. We had to put our 14 year old maltipoo down, and assumed doing this at home would be the most peaceful option. But, the experience was anything but peaceful. The vet who came to our home, Dr. Doolittle (that is actually his name) was unprepared. He showed up with his teenage son in the car. He had to leave to go out to his car several times because he kept forgetting what he needed. Once our sweet Prince was sedated, he began the euthanasia. We thought this would be a simple procedure, but no...this is where it gets horrifying. He shaved one paw, only to stick our dog 6-7 times. And not regular sticks, really forceful sticks. Then he proceeded to another paw, needing to reposition our sweet boy to reach it. He was VERY ROUGH, yanking our dog almost out of our arms by his back legs without warning, making his head roll backwards. He then stuck him another 10-12 times, before again having to try another paw. At this point, we were all freaking out. I asked him nicely to be gentle when moving our sweet baby again, but he was still rough! Finally, on the third paw after a total of 20-25 sticks, he was able to find a vein and complete the process. It was miserable and nerve-racking. There was no peace. There was no dignity. I am writing this because I can't stand the thought of another pet parent enduring such pain. He took what could have been a beautiful goodbye and turned it into a traumatic memory..one that continues to play in my mind.
Dr. Doss was great. Caring and gentle. I would recommend him for the passing of your pet. It was the first time I'd ever put down a pet and as horrible as it was Dr. Doss made it less painful I feel.
Dr. Bailey was kind and supportive. The process was described to us and was done with professionalism. Rocky passed peacefully with his whole family surrounding him in his bed. We made the right decision and the best choice to have him pass at home without any trauma or additional pain. I would recommend Dr. Bailey and Coda Pet for a dignified passing of your own fur baby.
We are so grateful that Dr. Randolph provides this in-home service in our area. It was very important to us to be at home in a relaxed setting for our beloved pet. Dr. Randolph's compassion and understanding eased her passing. He helped make this sad event as bearable as possible. The process of scheduling and communication was smooth.
Dr Vosburg is a kind and caring professional. She talked us through the process and was very respectful of our feelings. She handled our pup with great skill and gave us time to grieve. We recently had to make the difficult decision to help our elderly, very sick German Shepherd girl across the Rainbow Bridge. Our vet recommended CodaPet in-home pet euthanasia and we are so grateful as our dog really would have been more stressed having to go back to a vet office. Dr. Derecka Alexander came to our home and was so comforting, compassionate, professional and gentle with our dog (and us). She also personally delivered our sweet girl’s ashes, pawprint and a special jar with some keepsake fur. Everything was so very thoughtful and caring. It was such a difficult decision to let 16 yr old Gabriel go. But he was suffering. Now he is at peace. Dr Martin was very compassionate. The process was also calm & peaceful. Gabriel took his last breaths on my lap I am sad, but I am glad that my Gabriel is at peace & in pain no more
Dr Houck was so kind and explained the process to us as she went along. She was very sweet to our 18 year old cat and gave us time to say our last good byes. It is such a hard decision to put a fur baby to rest but a humane one when the time is right. Dr Houck made us feel better about our decision. She is a gem."
Dr. Danelle Jackson was so very genuine and compassionate. It made the process much easier she texted ahead of our appointment to answer questions, outline process, etc. it was so helpful to do the process for our 14 year old dog Jinger in our house where she is comfortable. Cournety Mills is an angel. Our Kenji was very sick, but kept himself alive for us. It was time to allow him to let go, so we decided for a quiet, in-home euthenasia. Courtney arrived on time and immediately went to where he was laying to interact with him and assure him. Her compassionate and considerate approach and the calm way she carefully explained every step was what we needed. We sat with Kenji and spent the final minutes with him wrapped in his fvorite blanket. The end was peacful. Courtney made the unbearable bearable. We cannot speak highly enough about her.
Dr. John is one of the most compassionate humans I’ve ever met. He is gentle and kind and understanding and is very respectful of your time and space and needs. I’ve had to out many pets down over the years and this was by far the “best” experience. He spent time with us and loved on our dog and asked all about her life and genuinely cared about our situation and our dog! He didn’t rush us or the process and was very supportive of us and showed such kindness even while doing something so hard.
There are no words to explain what Dr. Jenny Krueger did for us yesterday. Yesterday we sadly had to put down our 13 year old Flat Coated Retriever Louie. With our dog being 100+ lbs and having trouble standing due to hip dysplasia, we didnt know how we could ever get him to a vet. After coming across CodaPet, we are so grateful we got to do this process in Louies home where he was comfortable and familiar, and surrounded by his family. Dr.Krueger made whats supposed to be a traumatic experience, very peaceful and calm regardless of the circumstances. Louie got to lay exactly where he wanted and got to eat all the treats and spray can cheese hat Dr. Krueger provided for him to enjoy his last moments. Dr. Kruger explained every single step including what each anesthetic was named and the exact things it would do so we would understand the entire process. She asked us all our favorite memories and made the experience very special regardless of how hard it was. Louie passed very peacefully, not in a sterile unfamiliar office but comfortable in his own home, face first in a bowl of spray can cheese. We appreciate Dr. Kruegers empathy and patience for allowing us to spend as long as we needed with our Louie and feeling our pain with us. This is not just a job for her and no one is meant more to do this job then she is. Thank you Dr. Krueger for making this upsetting loss for us as peaceful, special, and informative as possible. Dr Mills is an amazing human being. She so very caring, compassionate and comforting! Her time with us was incredible, she explained everything in detail, she love on our sweet boy to help him feel comfortable and relaxed. She talk with me, answered my questions and made me feel comfortable with my decision to let my sweet boy go. It was his time and I didn’t want him to suffer any longer. On one of the worst days, Dr. Phillips was gentle, caring reassuring. My Cole was my best friend and gave me unwavering love and devotion. Dr. Phillips helped me help my darling Cole be released from pain with the upmost compassion. Cole and I will meet at the Rainbow Bridge and continue our outings that we lived so much. Dr. Briell was amazing! She was so patient, explained everything she was going to do before she did it, and really helped us during a very difficult time. Dr.Briell got to know our Emma which really meant a lot. Emma mattered to her and us. I had wondered if I was doing the right thing at the right time. Emma had a good day which made me double think my decision. Dr. Briell pointed out some of Emma’s behaviors as we were watching her walk around. She picked up on her pain and I could then see it too. This reassurance was priceless to me. I held my precious Emma in her final moments and was comforted in the fact that she was finally free of her pain. She was at peace. Dr. Briell then took great care of our fur baby, cradling her in a soft blanket and placing her in a new pet bed. We had asked for her to be cremated and Dr. Briell took care of that for us. Looking back, it was a very beautiful experience. We can’t thank Dr. Briell enough for her care and kindness!

Karen was the kindest and thoughtful person. She dealt with us so patiently and understood our pain. We are so happy that we found this option for our Allie. I couldn’t bear the thought of it being done in a facility that would have caused her stress. She took to Karen and was very calm. Our girl was able to leave all her pain and struggles behind in the comfort and warmth of her own home and with those who loved her by her side. One of the saddest days of our lives was made a little easier knowing we did this for her and in the best way possible. They handled everything. Thank you so much! Our highest recommendations!
I highly recommend in home euthanasia or Dr Loughmiller highly enough, for someone who truly loves their pet and knows that death is coming in advance. Dr Loughmiller came over and was so loving and kind and gentle with my cat, and it made the whole situation so much easier to deal with mentally. It was very personal and easier, to just stay at home and have death meet us here, rather than load my cat in a crate and take him to my vet's office. My cat hates car rides and the vet's office, it gives him huge anxiety, as he's been doing it often for years because of his conditions. But he was so relaxed and peaceful with Dr Loughmiller at home. Which is exactly what he deserved. She is a lovely human and you could tell doing it made her emotional too, which I appreciated. Everything was scheduled and paid for online and she very politely left quickly and quietly right after so I could fully melt down in privacy. I can't reccomend her or this service enough. It made for a very very peaceful and loving end for my soulmate cat, Nemmy.
It’s the hardest decision I’ll ever have to make, and it has to be right, and it has to be perfect. Dr. Duvall was the perfect choice, and my pup’s transition could not have been any better. She was patient, thorough, and most of all, completely compassionate. I could not have thanked her enough.

It's such a hard and difficult decision to make, but I am so thankful that there are people who are willing to do this service. Our 13.5-year-old dog Layla was at the end of her battle with cancer and let us know it was time. After booking our appointment, she was having a rough night, and I was easily able to contact Dr. Kemper and change the time from the afternoon to the morning. She was very compassionate, explained all the steps and answered any questions. Layla passed very peacefully, and our cats were able to say goodbye as well.
Dr. Treece was professional, courteous and, most importantly, empathetic. She listened to us talk about our dog and gave us plenty of time with her during the procedure. She laughed at her funny stories and agreed when we said LuLu was the best dog ever. This service was well worth the price and Dr. Treece was exactly the right person to perform it.
Dr Sarah was so incredibly thoughtful and caring. Her soft touch and sensitivity was so appreciated during the process of giving our sweet girl Kona a beautiful and honorable death.
I've had many pets and I'm always there at the end, and I've always found vets to be compassionate. Dr. John Murray though is amazing. He took the time to ask us about Patch, how long he'd been with us, what his favorite things to do and eat were. Then between the sedative and the final injection he took his time to make sure everything was prepared correctly. He took a paw imprint and nose print while we watched. After the final injection he put a bandage over the injection point - such respect for our Patchy, and such compassion that I've never seen in a vet before. He then gave us time with Patchy before he left. He is such a kind and considerate person.
I highly recommend CodaPet for in-home euthanasia for your furry family member. Sara arrived right on time and gave us all of the time we needed to love on our dog Poppi. Sara was very careful with Poppi during the process and wrapped her in a blanket very lovingly to take her for cremation. While we miss our Poppi girl, we are truly happy with this entire experience. There was a lot less stress on both us and Poppi as she was very comfortable at home. I know no one wants to say goodbye to their fur kid, but this was a very peaceful way to be able to say goodbye without all of the stress of a car ride and then in the vet's office. This was the hardest thing me and my wife had to do .. we had our dog 15 years she was our baby we loved her and spoiled her and try to take the very best care of her.. she walked every day till her last 5 days she showed signs of pain and discomfort and eventually couldn’t get up and was crying a lot .. we wanted to keep her comfortable and let her go on her own but she was such a fighter and we couldn’t have her be in pain .. we found dr. Karen and she we like an angel sent from heaven she was so kind and gentle and explain everything got my dog very comfortable in her bed in her home and around all her family .. its very hard to lose something so close to you.. but this service made it so much easier for our dog and family to be there.. it was sad but yet very beautiful to see how much everyone loved my dog .. would recommend this to every pet owner!
Dr. Karen is an extremely compassionate person. She reassured us we were making the best decision for our dog’s quality of life. I have already recommended her to others who will need her services.
Sara came to our house to help us send our 17yo girl Poppi to the bridge. She was very kind, compassionate, and did everything she could to make sure we were comfortable with the process. We could tell that she really cared about us and Poppi, even though she had just met her. Sara made sure Poppi was comfortable and then made sure we were ready to let her go to the bridge. While this will always be the worst day for any pet parent, Sara made this day a lot easier with her kindness and care toward Poppi and us. Thank you for making this day just a bit easier. Dr. White was so amazing during this difficult time. Her empathy and sympathy were crucial in helping us through this. Our Loki (who normally didn’t care for people) was so comfortable around her. She made his last moments peaceful and relaxing. She is an amazing woman and the people and pets she helps are lucky to have her.

During the process she was so kind and patient, talking us through everything that she was doing. We are so happy we chose to go with an in home service where our dog felt comfortable. I would recommend Dr Harper and her services to anyone dealing with the tough decision of having to let a pet go. She was so kind and gentle with our dog and made the process as good as an extremely difficult day can be. From her arrival to when she left with our departed dog, she treated Scout as if she were her own. We were extremely greatful for the service and care she provided not only to our dog, but to my wife and I as well.
We were obviously devastated to say goodbye to our beloved Monty, but Dr. Danielle Chapman was so unbelievably compassionate, empathetic, and gentle. Monty was happy to have a guest, and she gave him so much love along with treats and a little medicine to relax him. We got a glimpse of him no longer in pain as she listened to his sweet little heart and let us know once he had passed. She gave us time to grieve by waiting at her car, which was adorned with flowers—making us feel like he was not only taken care of, but honored. There is nothing easy about having to say goodbye, but Dr. Chapman made it easier. She was exactly who we needed during a time of unbelievable sorrow, and for that, we are deeply grateful.

When it became clear that our baby girl Chloe was approaching the end of her life, it was important to our family to find a way to ease her passing with dignity & compassion. Dr. Ross was capable, professional, and comforting beyond our expectations and I am so glad we were lucky enough to find a veterinarian like her. I cannot say enough about Dr. Amy and her empathetic care during one of the hardest choices to make. I have never had to euthanize a pet before until now, and wasn’t sure what to expect. Dr. Amy explained the process to me thoroughly, while ensuring both I and my pet were comfortable. While it was a very difficult decision, she made me understand that I was making the right choice in relieving my pet’s pain from cancer in the most peaceful way I could have possibly imagined. After Dr. Amy introduced herself to me and my Rottweiler, Ember, she never once made me feel rushed the entire time she was here. After giving Ember treats, Dr. Amy began the procedure of sedating her, and the waited patiently until I was ready to complete the process. After the process was complete, Dr. Amy excused herself and waited outside for me to say my last goodbyes. Again, which I cannot stress enough, in a manner of which I never felt rushed. I honestly don’t know how long I took, but knowing I had as much time as necessary provided a tremendous comfort to me. When I was done, Dr. Amy loaded Ember up on a stretcher and covered her with a soft blanket for transport. The entire time, I felt my baby girl was in good hands and being taken care of in this difficult moment. I can easily see why everyone has given perfect reviews.
