I have never had anyone so caring and the fact that she made Beau's last minute so pain free and comfortable. I miss him dearly and her comfort was so awesome. I have recommended her to everyone of my friends and family members. Having him put to sleep at home didn't hurt anymore and didn't hurt any less, but I will always feel better when my little family member can be comfortable and extremely stress free in the last moment of their life is extremely important to me and I would not do it any other way.
I truly appreciated the care that she showed my sweet Casey Bear. She was patient with me as I asked for a few more minutes with him before she started his transitional process and she asked if I was ready for her to administer the final dose of medication that let him take his final rest. I’m getting teary eyed as I write this but I really want people to know that she was an extremely caring person who cared for my baby boy.
This was the hardest decision to make but Dr. Dover was so amazing and made the experience extremely memorable. She came in with such love care and respect for what we were going through. Reached out to the days leading up as my sweet dog’s health declined rapidly. I am so thankful I had her there with me and my kids, talk us through the process and what to expect. It was a calm and loving experience for such a hard day. I can look back at it with a somber heart instead of just sadness.
Dr. Josh was very caring and kind , he explained to us what was happening as he was preparing to administer Mary Jane in her journey to leaves us to find rest and peace after a few years battling with her health. We will recommend Him to our friends and relatives to help other parents to go through such a painful loss knowing that our precious pets are in no pain but to send them in their journey with dignity and love. Dr. Wratten was very supportive, complimentary of the long life lived of our pet and a very caring representative for CodaPet. While it's not a great experience in general, she did a wonderful job and we were very glad we chose CodaPet.
Dr Kim was amazing! We had scheduled the appointment for her to come to our house and then 3 days prior to our appointment, our dog started a terrible decline and was in pain. Without any hesitation, Dr Kim came within 2 hours of my call to help put our beloved pet out of his pain. Her empathy and compassion touched our hearts during a terrible time. I highly recommend her.
Helping Bowie transition was one of the hardest moments of my life, and I truly believe every best friend deserves the kind of goodbye Dr. Halbert gave him. She came to our home with flowers. She lit a candle. She treated Bowie with so much tenderness and respect, and she never made the experience feel clinical or rushed. She even sang a song for him, which was so beautiful and something I will never forget. Bowie was able to leave this life peacefully, in my arms, surrounded by love. Afterward, we placed him in a wagon filled with flowers and walked him out together. It was heartbreaking, but it was also sacred and incredibly beautiful. If you ever have to make this impossible decision for your best friend, this is how I would want them to go. Every animal deserves this kind of dignity, love, and peaceful transition. I will be grateful to Dr. Halbert forever.
She was so wonderful! She was caring and patient and her energy was so calming. I’m so glad she’s the one who came to do this with our sweet pup!
She was very gentle and took the time to talk to us and get our poor sweet doggy to feel comfortable with her. She was diligent and tried to be discreet about putting the pee pads underneath him and also scurrying to get one when he started to throw up. We also appreciated that she was able to fit us in. I had left a message about five in the morning and she was able to come at noon. The basket with the cozy blankets that she took his body out in was very sweet. And we appreciate it that we did not need to select an urn right then and there. She texted me photos of the options and we were able to text her a few days later with our choice
She did a very good job of a very difficult task. I know the job is not easy or pleasant, but I am thankful there is someone out there to provide this service.

This was our first encounter with a mobile vet for this service and I will no longer do it any other way. Our sweet Princess was able to remain at her happy place with her favorite humans, keeping her from unnecessary stress and anxiety. Dr Sarah Crozier was kind, compassionate and walked us through the process. I trusted her 100% .She was a bright light on a dark day and I can’t recommend her enough.
Dr. Krueger was wonderful. She made the most difficult part of loving a pet so much easier. Her kindness, patience, and interest in our much loved dog, was so helpful and supportive. She clearly understands what our animals mean to us and what it’s like to have to tell them goodbye. We can’t recommend her highly enough should you be faced with this heartbreaking decision. Her professionalism, sensitivity, and compassion helped us say goodbye with love and certainty that we were doing the best thing for our precious dog. She followed up with a handwritten card offering real sympathy for our loss. If possible, we would give her 10 stars.
Dr. Amy was so compassionate and gentle, and really helped us feel at ease during this incredibly painful time. She gave us all the time we needed with our sweet girl, and allowed us to have her with us throughout the entire process. Thank you so much for giving our baby Mouse the most peaceful send off.
Ms. Anne took her time. She wasn’t rushed. She was empathetic. I could not have asked for a better experience. She explained everything in detail before she did it. I would highly recommend. I wish I had found her back in January when I lost my female.
We have had the horrible experience of losing two pets in just under 4 months. She was so wonderful with our first loss, that we sought her out for the second one. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect person to support us during this horrible time and she helped make it so much easier for us and we feel more at peace with their passing because of her. Having to make the decision to let Jeannie go was one of the hardest things I've had to do. But she stopped eating and I knew...it was time. Dr.Krueger is one of the kindest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She was punctual & prior to her arrival she texted me with her ETA. She was the breath of fresh air this home needed at that time. Grief is a heavy emotion, but Dr. Krueger lightened it the moment she walked in. She was gentle, thorough, kind, and most of all, compassionate. I was still unsure if I was doing the right thing. After the doctor examined her, she came over & put her hand gently on my arm, and said "If I were you, and Jeannie was mine I'd be doing the same thing. You are removing her pain & suffering, and that is the kindest most responsible thing a pet owner can do". After giving Jeannie sedation meds she let me sit with her, and I cradled her like a baby. She never once let me hold her in life, only when she was dying . She was a foster fail. Not a single person ever put an application in to adopt her & no one wanted to foster her. Something early in her life caused her to fear almost all humans. I shared that with Dr. Krueger and she said you sit and hold her as long as you need to, take your time. I can't tell you how much that meant to me! Dr. Krueger made the entire process, bearable for me & respectful to Jeannie. I highly recommend CodaPet because they have Dr. Jenny Krueger. In my humble opinion, she is their greatest asset.
We were fortunate enough to have Dr. Martin as our veterinarian before he moved to Coda. His demeanor is professional, kind and he can ‘read the room’. We had previously used a different group for the passing of another dog and it got a bit awkward. We will definitely use him if he’s available for our other dogs.
Dr. Phillips was very thorough and caring. She talked us through every step and what to expect. Everything went as smooth as it could go in this type of situation. She was very professional and very compassionate. She let our family say our goodbyes, including our other dogs. We didn't feel rushed, she gave us all the time we needed. If we have to make the call again, we would not hesitate to call Dr. Phillips as long as she's willing to drive over an hour back out here. <3
Dr. Pribil was very compassionate and kind. We are thankful she was there with us as we said goodbye to Boomer. We made the right decision in having it done at our house.
Dr. Stewart was incredibly kind and compassionate during one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. My decision to say goodbye to my dog, Quin, was an agonizing one that played out over time. Dr. Stewart spoke with me by phone about his quality of life, came to my home to assess him, and even made herself available by text when I needed to talk through how he was doing. She went above and beyond, and her guidance gave me something I desperately needed at the time: peace of mind that I could have a little more time with my boy without compromising his quality of life. When the time finally came, she treated both Quin and me with such kindness, gentleness, and respect. Quin was truly the gentlest soul that ever lived, and it meant so much to me that his final moments were at home, peaceful and surrounded by love. I will always be grateful to Dr. Stewart for the care she gave us, not just on Quin’s final day, but throughout the difficult process of deciding when that day needed to be. As much as I dread ever having to face this again, I know without hesitation that I would call Dr. Stewart.
Dr. was very nice, came on time. Late in day so did not seem to spend much time. She seemed to have a difficult time getting a line in and needed to stick my dog 5 it 6 times. I Had this service before with other companies for 2 other dogs and it was much more personal and they did sweet things like took a lock of hair and a foot print . . Also service was very expensive. Another company was cheaper on Christmas Eve at 9 pm . Will not be recommending this company. At the time this was the first company I got ahold of that had that night availability. I know why now.
As anyone who has dealt with an ill and aging pet can attest, dealing with their last days is difficult to say the least. When it came time for us to help our wonderful Grandon to finally rest, we reached out to CODA Pets. I found it a relief to learn about the different vets that are skilled and experienced in dealing with in home pet euthanasia. We chose to have Dr. Kelly Stern assist us with Grandon's last moments. Her training and experience were just the start points, but after meeting her I was reassured that we made the correct choice. My husband and I found it quite comforting as she spent time with Grandon and she made sure he was at ease. Dr. Stern's approach with us and with Grandon provided great comfort in a very distressing moment. We only spent a couple hours with her, but we still recall her personal and professional manner. We are so incredibly grateful for the compassion & kindness shown to our family during one of the hardest moments we’ve ever experienced. Kelsey came to our home to help our sweet Boxer Layla cross the rainbow bridge, and she was truly an angel… so sweet, gentle, & kind. She made an incredibly difficult process as smooth & peaceful as it possibly could be. She treated our Layla girl with so much love & respect, while also giving our entire family the comfort & reassurance we needed. It meant more to us than we can express. We couldn’t have asked for a more compassionate person to help us say goodbye. 100% recommend without hesitation!

Saying goodbye to Chester was devastating, but Dr. Le Blanc guided us through it with such tenderness, patience, and respect. Dr. L treated my baby as if he were their own—soft voice, gentle hands, and unwavering empathy. In a moment filled with heartbreak, my sweet boy couldn’t have gone more peacefully. We couldn’t have asked for a more caring person to help us say goodbye.
Dr. Lutri was great. She explained every process, timing, and medicine she administered. She was extremely comforting. The best thing was I never felt rushed, she did things on my (and my dog, Jasper's) time table and comfort level. It's the ahrdest thing in the world to put down your fur family, but she made it a little bit easier to handle.
Dr. Angela was the very best. She understands exactly the grief and loneliness we feel over the loss of our Dumpling. I highly recommend Dr. Angela for end of life needs. She is experienced and treats you and your fur family with love & respect.
Dr. Briell made one of our hardest days just a little easier by putting our minds at ease and allowing us to let our baby go with love and dignity. Her compassion and care were greatly appreciated.
Dr. Kaitlyn was the perfect person to help our sweet, sassy little Divvy pass to the other side. She was cheerful and kind, very gentle, and deeply empathetic. Divvy’s passing was quiet, peaceful, and lovely. Dr. Kaitlyn even transported Divvy’s body to the crematorium for us. It cost a bit more than had we taken Divvy to her regular vet, but we knew that would be stressful for her, and this was so much better. Highly recommend! Thank you, Dr. Kaitlyn! ❤️🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️
I am forever grateful that I found Dr. Ortman with Codapet. He is truly a blessing, such a warm and compassionate veterinarian. He was patient, understanding, and so accommodating with us throughout the process. He came to assess our Tater when we weren’t sure if he was ready or not to cross over. Then days later, came back out to our home to assist him transition 🌈. He is the most empathetic, genuine, compassionate, and thoughtful vet we have ever met. He assisted our Tater and us through the hardest time of our lives and treated our baby with dignity and respect. Dr. Ortman was also so responsive and made the experience more comfortable and meaningful. Lastly, he wrote us 2 beautiful handwritten sympathy letters after his visits. I cannot thank him enough and I will always remember the wonderful experience he gave us and our Tater boy.
Dr. Dover is a compassionate, caring, and knowledgeable vet. She was very patient and gave us all the information we needed to feel as comfortable as possible when we had to euthanize our Cerby boy. She contacted us the night before, when she was on her way, and after the procedure. Having done euthanasia both at home and at the vets office, I would highly recommend using Dr. Dover in the comfort of your home. Although it is horrific not having our Cerby boy, Dr. Dover helped him cross over to the big deck is the sky to live the next phase of his life in peace. We cannot thank her enough for her compassion and kindness.
Dr. Brandon and his team were incredible throughout this stressful and difficult time. Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is a very difficult thing; however, when you count on the help of such compassionate professionals, everything becomes more manageable and tolerable. Having to have to make the decision to euthanize your pet is painfully hard. Dr. Devlin was kind, compassionate and caring. As soon as he walked into our home, he had a calming and sincere presence. He took the time to explain the process to us. He let us know what to expect and what we could possibly experience with our pup. He had a gentle way of providing the service. Most importantly he did not rush through the service, he allowed us time to grieve, and cry and be with our pup for as long as we needed to be. He provided our pup and our family with the utmost respect. I recommend anyone who needs to make this hard decision to go with Dr. Devlin.

Ruger will be so missed by many (as she can attest to, she said it was the biggest crowd she'd had, there were 9 of us) and I will never take my pets to a cold impersonal clinic to pass if I can help it. Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Dr. Katie Todd arrived and explained in detail the process, gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes, and made the process as easy as possible. She was very reassuring to my children that we had made the right decision and explained all the options for taking care of the remains and provided us with keepsakes to ease the family’s pain. Thank you so much Dr.Todd in doing what has to be one of the world’s toughest jobs!
It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.
We are so grateful that Dr. Courtney White was available to us, last minute nonetheless. We were able to say goodbye to our precious boy Radar in his favorite spot in our backyard. Dr. White was so kind and compassionate, explaining the process as it progressed, allowing us to make the decisions we could. She truly understood the bond we had with our boy. Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.
Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Thank you again for being so wonderful to our sweet baby.
Dr. Lisa made herself available for a last-minute urgent call for us and she couldn’t have been more lovely and caring. This is obviously a challenging and sad time for anyone in the position to call. She treated it with reverence and kindness. Feel lucky to have had her.
I can't say enough fabulous things about Dr. Jessica Pruitt! It was a hard decision (as it always will be) when its time for our "buddies" to have to leave us:( but Dr. Jessica is so gentle and kind. She explains everything, is very patient and my Molly just warmed right up to her which made things even easier. When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. Lane made a horrible no win situation more acceptable with his calm demeanor and soothing words. I can't thank Dr Martin enough for helping little Barney come to peaceful end to his life's journey.
This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. Dr Anna was on time, very loving, caring and made us all feel at ease with going forward. She even brought a treat for him, and my very usually picky dog ate it! The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.
We are deeply thankful to Dr. Shannon Nakaya for the care and compassion she showed during our beloved dog Giggsy’s final moments. Saying goodbye was an incredibly painful decision and a very difficult day for us, but her kindness, patience, and gentle approach helped ease the burden. Dr. Nakaya guided us through the process with understanding and treated Giggsy with such tenderness and respect. Her compassion and professionalism truly made all the difference during this heartbreaking time.

We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.
Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful. Dr. Delia is truly one of the most amazing people I have ever met. She gave us peace of mind by answering all of our questions and throughly explaining what our baby girl was experiencing. We are so happy that our Mira was surrounded by love and comfort in her final moments.
Dr. Amanda Harper was the epitome of professionalism. She was kind and took her time with us and our dog. Smokey was relaxed and felt very loved, at home, with his family. I would never choose to do it differently if we were ever to be in that situation again. This service made a terrible situation as easy as it could ever be. Highly recommend to all my pet-loving friends.
I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. And Dr. Lisa Feig more than meets that requirement. A million thanks to her and Coda Pet.

Best decision ever. While my heart is broken, this option of a kind, gentle passing in our home, with no anxiety for my sweet girl was a blessing for both of us. Dr. Kim was an absolute angel! She made the passing of our sweet Belle (15 year old blue tick) so much easier. Her compassion and just overall presence during such a hard time was so comforting. I will be recommending the at home service to anyone I know who has an elderly dog.
We decided to use CodaPet when it was time for us to make that decision for our sweet 14 year old St Bernard, Fiona. It was the best thing we could have done. We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
In my life I have been blessed to have a few dogs. Saying goodbye is part of the price we pay. Dr. Gordon made this horrible time easier. I will be eternally grateful for the kindness and compassion she showed not only our precious Baby Girl but also us.
