Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Dr. Katie Todd arrived and explained in detail the process, gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes, and made the process as easy as possible. She was very reassuring to my children that we had made the right decision and explained all the options for taking care of the remains and provided us with keepsakes to ease the family’s pain. Dr. Pugh was fantastic. She was incredibly compassionate, gentle, and patient throughout one of the hardest moments of my life. I’m so grateful that CodaPet connected us. There’s no other vet I could have asked for to guide my fur baby and me through his final moments. She explained every step clearly, gave me as much time as I needed, and created a calm, peaceful environment in my home. The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.
Dr. Poole was kind, calming, and reassuring. She seemed to genuinely care about both our kitty and us. I would recommend her to others in a heartbeat. When the time comes for our other baby to pass, we would love to have Dr. Poole come out again.

Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.

I can't say enough fabulous things about Dr. Jessica Pruitt! It was a hard decision (as it always will be) when its time for our "buddies" to have to leave us:( but Dr. Jessica is so gentle and kind. She explains everything, is very patient and my Molly just warmed right up to her which made things even easier. I could not speak higher of my experience with Dr. Dzierga. She made a heartbreaking experience so peaceful and the best situation it could be. Not only does she care, but she walked me through each step of the way, and listened to my questions with empathy and care. She listened to me tell my story of my girl Hazel, and asked questions, and also gave lots of love and treats to my other dog, as well. After my experience, I will never use another service for my pet. I am able to sleep soundly at night knowing that the best care was given to my beloved Hazel. There are endless things I could say about Dr. Megan Lowman, yet somehow none of them feel big enough to truly capture who she is. It may sound corny to say she has wings on her back—but sometimes the most heartfelt truths do sound that way. Because she does. From the moment she walks through the door, her empathy, kindness, and love fill every corner of the room. Dr. Megan has now guided us through saying goodbye to two beloved family members—first Paddington, and most recently, Teddy. When we learned what Teddy was facing, I knew instantly that she was the only person I wanted by our side. She doesn’t just provide a service; she feels like family. She understands your heartbreak without you needing to explain it, and she stays fully present, offering steady compassion and genuine love in every moment. I felt an immediate connection to her during Paddington’s passing—a deep sense of gratitude and trust from the very beginning. So, when it was Teddy’s time, there was no question that we needed that same tenderness and grace. And once again, the moment she arrived, the fear, anxiety, and overwhelming sadness softened. In their place, she brought calm, comfort, and peace. Dr. Megan, you are truly extraordinary. Your compassion fills a space in a way that words can hardly describe. I am profoundly grateful—for your kindness, your warmth, and the love you showed my sweet Teddy. The difference you made in our home during such a painful moment is something I will always carry with me. I am also deeply thankful to you and to Codpet for providing such a gentle, thoughtful service. Being able to let Teddy fall asleep in my office—one of his favorite places—without the disruption of a car ride, without stress or confusion, and without making that heartbreaking drive home alone… it was more than I could have hoped for. Dr. Feig made the transition easier for my dog, family & I. Making the decision to euthanize a family member is truly devastating! I’m grateful that Brando chose to be outside in our front lawn away from his lil brother inside (a nervous pittie inside the house.) to also make it easier for the Doctor as well… He chose his location and my mom & I were by his side the whole time. The doctor was friendly, understanding and was very thorough in explaining the procedure. Brando was calm and in peace so it made the process easier. We’re still gutted in loosing such an important part of our family but we’re at peace knowing that we did our best and that we provided him a home with lots of love & treats! We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.

Dr. Mumm was so lovely. She made a truly awful situation so much easier. This was the first time I had to put a pet down and was very anxious about it because I did not know what to expect. She took the time to walk through the steps and ease my mind about what was about to happen. She let us take all the time we needed and genuinely treated my sweet boy as if he were hers. When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. Lane made a horrible no win situation more acceptable with his calm demeanor and soothing words. I can't thank Dr Martin enough for helping little Barney come to peaceful end to his life's journey.
Dr. Lisa made herself available for a last-minute urgent call for us and she couldn’t have been more lovely and caring. This is obviously a challenging and sad time for anyone in the position to call. She treated it with reverence and kindness. Feel lucky to have had her.

Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Thank you again for being so wonderful to our sweet baby.

We are deeply thankful to Dr. Shannon Nakaya for the care and compassion she showed during our beloved dog Giggsy’s final moments. Saying goodbye was an incredibly painful decision and a very difficult day for us, but her kindness, patience, and gentle approach helped ease the burden. Dr Shannon, was kind, gentle….understanding, compassionate, and so respectful of our dear Sandy, and to us …during Sandy’s passing from this world to heaven. She understood our religious beliefs for prayer. She did not rush the process and with sincere sensitivity ……. allowed us time to hold and kiss Sandy after he passed and went to heaven. Dr Shannon was excellent! The crematorium that cremated his beautiful body was horrible. Only about half of the ashes that we expected to returned to us were. We know that from his siblings that passed on the mainland and who ashes were returned to us. Be prepared for this. Blessings to all!

It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.
Dr April was so wonderful with not only our sweet Emily at the end of her life but also with our other pets, one of whom probably made her job a lot more difficult (by nature of being a golden retriever). She was deliberate with all her movements and was so respectful with Emily both during and after the procedure, which we so appreciated. If only we were given such dignity at our end.

Dr. Cara Mitchell helped my family get through one of the most difficult and emotionally challenging moments in our life. Mosely had been there since the beginning of my relationship with my wife. For 15 years he was our first ‘child,’ our constant companion, and a huge part of our family. When the time came to say goodbye, we knew we wanted it done peacefully at home, and Dr. Mitchell made that possible in the most gentle, respectful way imaginable. From the initial call to schedule, she was kind, patient, and understanding of how hard this was for us. She arrived on time, explained every step clearly so we knew exactly what to expect, and gave us all the space we needed to love on Mosely and say our goodbyes without any rush. Her demeanor was calm and reassuring, which helped ease the anxiety for both us and our dog. Mosely passed quietly and comfortably, surrounded by our love for him. Ruger will be so missed by many (as she can attest to, she said it was the biggest crowd she'd had, there were 9 of us) and I will never take my pets to a cold impersonal clinic to pass if I can help it. Having your pet pass at home where they're comfortable and familiar was such a blessing!
She was extremely kind and helped us understand the process of how everything was going to happen. She interacted with Rusty before she did anything and he was very comfortable with her. I wanted this to be done in our home where Rusty wouldn’t be scared and he could be held during the whole process. As hard as this decision was I’m so glad of the way we did it because he was as in the home he loved surrounded by his family and he was wasn’t scared. Dr. Bagnoni was incredibly responsive and able to accommodate a same-day, in-home euthanasia for our 15-year-old dog, Zeus. She took the time to speak with us beforehand by phone, clearly explaining the process and what to expect. When she arrived, she performed a gentle initial exam, and together we recognized that it was truly Zeus’s time. She walked us through each step in person and thoughtfully answered our 5-year-old son’s questions in a way he could understand. Throughout the entire visit, she was calm, patient, and deeply respectful. Nothing felt rushed. The process was peaceful and free of stress for Zeus, which meant everything to us. We chose cremation, and the turnaround was quick. Dr. Bagnoni provided a beautiful urn, a clay paw print, fur clippings, and ink impressions of Zeus’s paw and nose; keepsakes we will treasure. Her professionalism, compassion, and gentle presence gave us comfort during one of the hardest moments our family has faced. We are grateful that Zeus’s final moments were handled with such dignity and care. I highly recommend Dr. Bagnoni. She is a truly compassionate professional.
I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care, compassion, and kindness I received from Dr. Lisa Littlejohn during one of the most difficult moments of my life—saying goodbye to my sweet girl. Dr. Lutgen DeWitt was so gentle helping me through the heartbreaking process of the in-home euthanasia of my best friend cat, Tara. I suspected it was the right thing to do for Tara, and Dr. Lutgen DeWitt thoughtfully weighed-in, presented options without pressure, and let me ultimately decide it was time for me to let Tara go. She treated Tara with respect and dignity, which was so sweet to watch. I'm still so sad, but grateful that my final memory of Tara is in the home she grew up in, eating her favorite meal on her favorite plate. Also worth noting, Dr. Lutgen DeWitt communicated via text to indicate she was on the way, arrived exactly on time, and was quick, efficient, and honest explaining the process and the paperwork. This is to say that none of the business of it got in the way of the heart of the matter. I'm thankful to Dr. Lutgen DeWitt for the graceful navigation.
We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.
Dr. Renee was fabulous to work with in this terrible situation. Very kind-hearted, very good communication about arrival time, the process with our dog and gave us all the time we needed with him. Would definitely recommend Dr. Renee and Codapet!

Dr. Gordon performed the euthanasia for my sweet soul dog of 16 years. It was the most peaceful experience I could’ve asked for. She knew exactly what to say and created such a calm environment to spend our final moments together. I’m very grateful for her service.

We decided to use CodaPet when it was time for us to make that decision for our sweet 14 year old St Bernard, Fiona. It was the best thing we could have done. Dr Jason Doolittle made sure the experience was peaceful and went at a pace we were comfortable with. He explained in detail everything that would happen and was very gentle with Fiona. Thank you for providing a service that allows our fur family to go peacefully in their homes surrounded by comforting faces and love.
Dr Parks was compassionate and caring with our dog Lola. Nobody wants to make this choice for their pet but when Dr Parks came to our door we were relieved to have her there. She was sensitive to Lola’s needs and our needs, as well. It was a beautifully, peaceful experience.
Dr. Lutri was amazing and wonderful through this difficult process. I don’t know what I would have done if I had to have taken Ellie in and move her. My sweet furry bestie was comfortable on the place she always felt secure. We were all by her side and she went “to sleep” so peacefully. Dr. Lutri was thoughtful and so caring. I would highly recommend her.
Dr.Keri came into our home to put down our beloved cat. She was very sweet and empathetic to our situation and told us to take our time, did not rush the process. She gave me a sweet paw imprint and tiny jar of my tortie's fur to put next to her urn. I highly recommend Dr.Keri to anyone in this situation. ❤️
Dr. Delia is truly one of the most amazing people I have ever met. She gave us peace of mind by answering all of our questions and throughly explaining what our baby girl was experiencing. We are so happy that our Mira was surrounded by love and comfort in her final moments.
Christina was absolutely wonderful, caring , compassionate- I could go on and on. She walked us thru everything, made sure we understood what was to happen and answered any and all questions. One of the best decisions we’ve made to have this happen in the comfort of our home for our special boy!
I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. And Dr. Lisa Feig more than meets that requirement. A million thanks to her and Coda Pet.
Dr. Clem was kind, patient & understanding during her home visit. She took the time we needed to say goodbye and most of all, share stories of our beloved Bruno. Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful.
