The death of Boo Boo was devastating for me. And his condition deteriorated so rapidly we could not take him to the vet we have had for years - who was not available. My daughter and her wife used this service - a different vet with their dog who had ALS (yes, dogs get ALS) so we knew where to turn.We contacted them at 3:30 pm and they arrived as asked for at 7. We couldn't let BooBoo suffer any more. Dr Rebecca and her assistant were wonderfully compassionate, we got to hold BooBoo and say goodbye in our living room. They followed up by Delivering the pawprints and ashes. I could not ask for a more compassionate, loving farewell. I wish we treated people this well in their passing. Their kindness will Always be remembered and appreciated
Very compassionate, explained everything thoroughly and patiently answered any questions. So thankful for this service. Sunday evening on Mother’s Day, we knew our dog was terminal, but started having seizures that morning. Dr Mills was incredible. Compassionate, caring, patient, loving.... all the things you'd hope for in the situation. We've had other in-home euthanasia experiences, but this was the absolute best. We felt supported throughout, the communication was amazing. She explained the process and what she was doing when and why. Dr. Katie was amazing! She handled everything so professionally yet personally too. Ruger will be so missed by many (as she can attest to, she said it was the biggest crowd she'd had, there were 9 of us) and I will never take my pets to a cold impersonal clinic to pass if I can help it. Having your pet pass at home where they're comfortable and familiar was such a blessing!
We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.
We are deeply thankful to Dr. Shannon Nakaya for the care and compassion she showed during our beloved dog Giggsy’s final moments. Saying goodbye was an incredibly painful decision and a very difficult day for us, but her kindness, patience, and gentle approach helped ease the burden. Dr. Nakaya guided us through the process with understanding and treated Giggsy with such tenderness and respect. The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.
In my life I have been blessed to have a few dogs. Saying goodbye is part of the price we pay. Dr. Gordon made this horrible time easier. I will be eternally grateful for the kindness and compassion she showed not only our precious Baby Girl but also us.

Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful. She is an amazing human and is excellent at what she does. I am so grateful. Thank you so much Dr Delia.
Dr. Rob was incredibly kind— he came for an urgent appointment because my cat went downhill quickly over the weekend. He was patient, explained the process, gave our family time with her, and made the process as stress free as it could for my cat, which was my first priority. I had never considered in home euthanasia and now I feel I’ll always do it if possible because it minimized the fear in her last hours. She had the peaceful passing that she deserved, surrounded by her loved ones. Thank you Dr. Rob for taking care of my girl on her last day.
Dr. Collins was truly wonderful. She walked us through the entire process with such compassion, explaining what would happen and gently preparing us for each step. She gave us all the time we needed with our sweet girl and helped us create beautiful keepsakes with her paw prints and nose print. We are deeply grateful for Dr. Collins and for this service, which allowed Dolly to pass peacefully in her own backyard, surrounded by love.
Dr Melissa Goldberg really made our experience the absolute best it could be. She is so very kind and understanding , also accommodating. I scheduled an appointment and realized our 15yr old dog Buck was needing help sooner than later. Dr Goldberg had already texted me not long after booking , so I had her number. I asked her advice on waiting until the next evening, which is when we scheduled for . She made arrangements to come to our home that night instead. So kind. She explains the whole process, no surprises It is absolutely the most love you can show your animal. Our guy laid on his favorite spot on the couch, our whole family was home in the room with the him. He was completely comfortable with Dr Goldberg immediately, as were we. It is not an awkward experience. She understands the assignment and acts with care and compassion and allows the family to do what they need to do without intrusion. He fell asleep in the most peaceful way I think I ever saw, it was oddly beautiful. It was so the right time I realized. I can say without hesitation it was perhaps the best decision I’ve ever made if you can appreciate that. The gravity of making this decision is almost unbearable. But having him home , in his spot , with his family- just drifting off ? Literally priceless. I’ve never been more comfortable with a purchase. And I thank her and the service from the bottom of my heart.

Dr. Novik was the perfect choice for this..."event"? I had to schedule my appointment at 2:00am and chose her because she had appointments available in the afternoon the same day and offered the service of taking my cat's remains away and offering cremation services the same day. I was so nervous about everything but especially the parking out front of my apartment building but she was so kind and so understanding. She explained everything as she did it, nothing was scary, and offered us time after my cat had died to say goodbye. I think she wouldn't have been surprised if we'd. grieved much longer. I would highly recommend Dr. Novik and was glad that she was the one that happened to selected when I to say goodbye to one of the best friends I've ever had.
Dr. Lydia was an absolute angel. I couldn’t have imagined a better experience for a terrible time 😞 she was so compassionate and patient and loving and made the awful experience of loosing my soul dog as sweet as possible. I was able to schedule her within about a 3 to 4 hour window of arrival so my sweet girl wasn’t suffering more than necessary. She gave us plenty of time and space to say goodbye. Dr. Gordon performed the euthanasia for my sweet soul dog of 16 years. It was the most peaceful experience I could’ve asked for. She knew exactly what to say and created such a calm environment to spend our final moments together. I’m very grateful for her service.
Dr. Meadows is a very compassionate person. I have had to have him euthanize two of my dogs within 8 months of each other. My second dog was a very nervous dog around people other than family. He came the day before to give me a sedative so that she would not be as fearful when he came the next day. I euthanize at home so that it won't be a stressful experience for my babies. Thanks to Dr. Meadows , he made a very difficut time as peaceful as possible. Dr. Meadows is fantastic.
Dr. Jen was wonderful at a very sad time. She was soft spoken and compassionate, slowly explaining every step in the process. She was sure that Mollie was comfortable with her and not subjected to any undo stress. For anyone who needs to make this very difficult for, I would highly suggest Dr. Jen and doing at home. It was so much less stressful for Mollie rather than loading her in the car and taking her to our local vet. Dr. Jen also took care of all of the aftercare for Mollie, which made it less stressful for us.
Dr. Torres was absolutely amazing. She was very patient and offered multiple options for each step of the process. She was super accommodating & very thoughtful. The hug she gave me at the end was much needed and greatly appreciated. She truly had more compassion then medical Dr.s I have worked with over 25 years as an RN. This in home process was the best we could have offered to our Penny. Thank you again.
This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. Dr Anna was on time, very loving, caring and made us all feel at ease with going forward. She even brought a treat for him, and my very usually picky dog ate it! Laying Thor to rest has been one of the hardest things we have ever had to do. Dr. Karen Duncan is an amazing soul who truly found her calling. She arrived, took the time to get to know Thor, and after giving us the time we needed, gently and confidently reassured us that letting him go with dignity was the most selfless thing we could do. She made us feel like we had known her for years. She explained everything, supported us through every step, and gave us the time and space to process such a heartbreaking moment. The compassion and care did not stop there. The follow-up and support from Eastern Shore Cremation and Funeral Service was beyond anything we could have imagined. The kindness, humanity, and understanding shown to our family is something so many businesses have lost over time. Thank you all for the compassion, dignity, humility, and care you showed us during one of the hardest moments of our lives. These are gifts and skills that simply cannot be taught.
Dr. Murray provided emotional support at the time we needed it the most . My dog Lucy was 16 and , unfortunately, was dealing was dealing with illness that no longer was treatable. She was loosing weight and I just couldn’t bear a thought of driving her to office. I knew how scared she was of new smells and new people. I wanted her to be comfortable and loved in her last moments . I’ve heard about Dr. Murray from one of my patients and was able to schedule the same day visit. Although saying goodbye to a loved one is never easy, he made it a positive experience . I was able to be there for her during her last moments, just like she was always there for me for the past 16 years. Thank you , doctor!
Dr. San Miguel came out to our home for our 17 year kitty Gus. She made a horrible and sad situation a bit easier for us humans and much easier for Gus.

Dr. Derecka provided a kind and compassionate experience for us saying goodbye to our beloved family member. We decided to spend our last hours with him outside where he was happiest and calm. Dr Derecka arrived quietly, gently explained everything that was about to happen, and gave us as much time as we wanted before beginning the procedure. As overwhelmed and sad as we were, we are so glad that we let our beloved dog leave us calmly and comfortable in his familiar home surroundings with his family around him. I would highly recommend Dr Derecka, and as awful as it was to say goodbye, it was a far better and more comforting experience than taking him to the vet hospital (which was always somewhere he hated anyway!).

Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.
Best decision ever. While my heart is broken, this option of a kind, gentle passing in our home, with no anxiety for my sweet girl was a blessing for both of us. Dr. Gibson was so sweet and compassionate. It is obvious she was born to do exactly this. Her respect for my baby was so comforting. I won't ever go a different route again.

I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.
Dr. Amanda Harper was the epitome of professionalism. She was kind and took her time with us and our dog. Smokey was relaxed and felt very loved, at home, with his family. I would never choose to do it differently if we were ever to be in that situation again. This service made a terrible situation as easy as it could ever be. My Buster meant everything to me , he was a huge part of my everyday routine. Even when I would leave on a few days trip which wasn’t often because he had. separation anxiety and he did not want me to leave him. I would call to check on him often . Dr Sarah Clem was amazing . She was very compassionate and calm. You could just tell from the very first moment we met her that she truly cared She took her time explaining the process to us and answering any questions that we had . Buster went up to her as she was sitting on a carpet on our floor at his level . He was very comfortable with her . She made one of the hardest decisions I have made in my life a compassionate peaceful transition for my Buster to cross the rainbow bridge. Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Dr. Katie Todd arrived and explained in detail the process, gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes, and made the process as easy as possible. She was very reassuring to my children that we had made the right decision and explained all the options for taking care of the remains and provided us with keepsakes to ease the family’s pain. When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. Lane made a horrible no win situation more acceptable with his calm demeanor and soothing words. I can't thank Dr Martin enough for helping little Barney come to peaceful end to his life's journey.
Dr. Stukey was so amazingly kind, patient, and caring! She created such a gentle way to say goodbye during a very difficult experience. If you are finding yourself at the tough position of having to say goodbye to a beloved pet, she is the vet to help your loved one cross the bridge. ♥️
Dr. Lisa made herself available for a last-minute urgent call for us and she couldn’t have been more lovely and caring. This is obviously a challenging and sad time for anyone in the position to call. She treated it with reverence and kindness. Feel lucky to have had her.
She was absolutely kind and comforting to our Lucy crossing over the rainbow to be with our other 2 fur babies, Maggie and Sadie. Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Thank you again for being so wonderful to our sweet baby.

It’s been about two weeks now since we helped my guy Benny over the Rainbow Bridge. At 15 years and numerous health / mobility challenges, it was his time. When it was “their time”, we always took our furry children to the vet’s office for the “final visit”. Each office did their best to make it as easy as possible for all concerned, but it still felt a little “cold”, clinical and a little frighting. I was fortunate to have found CodaPet.com at the urging of our own vet’s office. We made the decision to help Benny at around 3:30pm on a Saturday. We received immediate response after scheduling online and Dr. Cassandra Lewis arrived at our house promptly at 7pm. After assessing Benny, she provided him with carefully administered sedatives to ease his suffering while surrounded by his family in the comfort of his favorite room on his favorite bedding. For the next 40 minutes or so, Dr. Lewis listen to us tell Benny’s life story. She was truly sent by the Angels. Allowing us to unburden ourselves to her compassionate ear allowed our healing to begin. She explained each step in the procedure and allowed for our questions as well as our periodic expressions of tearful grief. When we said our final “goodbyes”, she lovingly took Benny’s suffering away as we assured him the he was indeed “a good boy”. We chose the option for water cremation and carefully prepared him for transport in her vehicle. The entire process was professional, compassionate and even a little spiritual. We are forever grateful to Dr. Lewis (and CodaPet) helping us through this difficult time and giving Benny comfort and peace as he traveled the Bridge.
We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
