Wanda was 14 years old. She was such a big part of our family, we couldn’t imagine saying goodbye to her at the vet’s office. Everyone was here with her, including Kiko our 6 year old rescue. I recently had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to my dog, and I cannot express how grateful I am for the compassion, professionalism, and support provided by Dr Angela. From the moment I reached out she was gentle, patient, and understanding of both my pet’s needs and my emotions.
Having an at home euthanasia for our sweet Riley was the best decision we could have made. He was able to be comfortable in his own house surrounded by all of his family, including our other dog. Everything was handled so well, and Cassandra did such a great job of making sure we knew what was going on while also taking good care of Riley.
We were beyond blessed to have Dr. Erin Struble help our precious Mika transition peacefully across the rainbow bridge. I’ve had painful experiences in the past with saying goodbye to pets, and I was anxious about going through it again. Dr. Struble changed that for me. She walked us through every step with patience and clarity, making sure we understood and felt supported. She never rushed us, giving both Mika and us the time we needed. Most importantly, she ensured Mika felt no pain and left this world in the gentlest, most peaceful way imaginable. Dr. Struble’s kindness, compassion, and professionalism went beyond what I could have hoped for. She not only gave Mika dignity in her final moments but also helped heal some of the trauma I carried from previous goodbyes. That is a gift I’ll never forget. Mika crossed over so calmly, surrounded by love, and I can never thank Dr. Struble enough for the comfort she gave our family. She is truly an angel in this work, and I will recommend her to anyone who finds themselves facing this difficult time.
Our 15 year old beautiful kitty had been managing with cancer and tumors for 4 years with medication to keep it subdued, and when it entered her throat, we knew it was time. I sadly googled “in home euthanasia” late at night, and CodaPet had availability the next day. Dr Stewart was immediately communicative via text the next morning, expressing concerns in case I needed her earlier. Dr Stewart was like an old friend, understanding and warm and when it was over, she hugged me and my husband which I’ve never experienced and still tear up, thinking about it. When the sad time comes for our other aging kitties, she’s who we’ll be contacting. We are so lucky to have found her.
In my life I have been blessed to have a few dogs. Saying goodbye is part of the price we pay. Dr. Gordon made this horrible time easier. I will be eternally grateful for the kindness and compassion she showed not only our precious Baby Girl but also us.
Dr. Stephanie Norman was an angel whose calm and gentle spirit was so appreciated in helping us through the super hard experience of saying goodbye to our dog. Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful. She is an amazing human and is excellent at what she does. I am so grateful. Thank you so much Dr Delia.
We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.
Dr. Courtney White came out to our office on a Monday evening to put our precious shop cat down. We all loved our Mayer but he was 14 and had recently had surgery to repair a broken hip and just wasn't recovering well from the surgery. We didn't want him to suffer and new it was time to say goodbye. Dr. White was so kind and caring and made the whole process so much easier on Mayer and on us. We highly recommend using Dr. White and CodaPet if you find yourself in a situation where you need to say goodbye to your beloved pet. This vet was the most compassionate, understanding & had the patience of a saint. Her personal touches, like arranging our little girl in a small bed with blanket made her look like she was sleeping. She even allowed me to put a black eye Susan in her hair when she left our home. Having your pet put down in the home, if you ever have to do it is the most wonderful way to say goodbye. Words cannot express how compassionate, sensitive, personal, and professional Dr. McCasland was. She explained each step and let us take as long as we needed for each step. I am so thankful that we were able to be with Duncan at home during this difficult time. I cannot even imagine what it would have been like to have to take him in the car and be in the vet's office for his final moments. Duncan was not under any additional stress; and although it was very difficult for us, being at home in our own surroundings with such a compassionate doctor somehow made it easier. While we are grieving deeply, knowing that we made Duncan's last moments as stress free as possible provides us with a little comfort. After placing Duncan in Dr. McCasland's car surrounded by soft, comfortable blankets, Dr. McCasland gave both of us a big hug. Thank you, Dr. McCasland for making such a difficult situation somewhat easier.
Dr. Duvall did a fantastic job easing our dog out of this world, and in tending to our human needs and concerns as well. She really went the extra mile and was full of compassion for all of us. I can't imagine how the inherently difficult situation could have been made any easier.
Dr Kim was so accommodating! Our Baby was so sick and really needed the help of Dr. Kim. It was a holiday and she came right away.🙏🏻. She was so kind and patient with us. I have told many people that when the time comes for your pet, this is the only way to go. She also reassured me that I was making the best decision for my Baby, which is what I needed to hear.
We are so thankful for Dr. Clem’s help with this very difficult part of our lives. Her compassion, thoughtfulness and kindness brought us much comfort. Her patience and attentiveness to Gizmo’s comfort meant the world to us. Having Dr. Clem come to our home made this painful experience bearable. Dr. White is one of the kindest, most knowledgeable veterinarians in west Tennessee. My sweet boston terrier, Lillie Lou, does not really like new people. She did not resist when Dr. White pulled her into her arms. I thank Dr. White for all she did for me and my family. Highly recommend.
Dr. Lara really is special, she was completely equipped and ready. Buddy was my longest companion and my first to have passed from old age, I was a mess. Dr. Lara made the whole process clear, she walked me through each step, and made the whole process very special.
Her approach of “I’m here for Pepper and your family “ with Pepper being comfortable the priority was wonderful. She took time to “meet” Pepper and having her doing the assessment was a blessing. She is very compassionate during this difficult process. She conveys at all time the process and what she is doing. We felt comfortable having her there as we cried and loved on our Pepper. Last night Dr Perzak cane to my house and was outstanding to work with! She spent a few minutes sitting and speaking with me and petting my wonderful son before the procedure. Coda Pet and Dr P made this completely devastating time as simple and reassuring as possible.
Dr. Gardhouse was very kind and compassionate throughout the entire process. Nothing could have made the day easier, but Dr. Gardhouse gave us all the time that we needed and to say our goodbyes and walked us through every step. We felt relieved knowing our Uno passed surrounded at home with a big belly full of salmon, surrounded by her loved ones and without pain.
This was a very emotional time for us! Dr. Loweth understood and embraced us with Love and compassion.....even our dear little Rendina put her paw out to shake Dr. Loweth hand when they first met. Rendina never did this on meeting someone for the first time. Thank you Dr. Loweth !

To have my sweet Bubba put to sleep was one of the hardest decisions i have ever made. I called Dr.Meadows and was able to make an appointment for him to come to my home. He was so kind and took the time to get to know my dog , he talked to him while petting him and assessing him at the same time. He was very accommodating , calm and reassuring. Nothing could have made this less painful but his kind and gentle ways made it a little easier. Thank you Dr Meadows and your sweet assistant (I'm sorry I don't remember her name)

Dr Karen Whala is wonderful! Upon arrival she spent time with our Pepper and the assessment is so helpful and reassuring. We did not feel rushed through the process at all. She explained every step. Most importantly she was so patient allowing our family to each love on Pepper. Her priority was making sure that Pepper was comfortable at all times! Pepper never liked visits to the vet (even though our vet office is great) and knowing that she was at home and passed peacefully was a gift. Dr Whala - thank you!!
This was a very empathetic and caring experience. Dr McCasland was 10/10❤️ She provided extraordinary care for our sweet Ellie and supportive empathy for our entire family. Dr mary juber was the most sweet flexible supportive and just all around amazing person who was so adaptable to our pets and personal needs during this process.....truly made the worst of experiences in life peaceful and beautiful for my sweet Tux and our family couldn't recommend her enough if you find your self in need of these services. We recently had to say goodbye to our beloved 16 year-old Havanese. He was terrified of going to the Vet so we decided on in home pet euthanasia. Dr. Meadows and Ashley were so kind and professional. We were lucky to have nine good years with our Bernese Mountain Dog, “Sansa”; however, when the end came, it came fast. Our vet recommended CodaPet, and I immediately booked the first appointment available. And while the decision to end Sansa’s suffering as soon as possible was easy; her actually dying was something else entirely. But what did make this utterly heartbreaking experience a little less painful, was the doctor we got: Lauren Ayala. When she arrived, she calmly and gently just “took it from there”. I can’t tell you how much this matters when you’re faced with such an overwhelming loss. Dr. Ayala had such a special way about her: not only giving Sansa the painless, gentle departure we wanted so badly, but she also provided us with just as much comfort. She isn’t just a good doctor; she’s the kind of person who genuinely cares for everyone involved. She understands completely that Sansa isn’t just our pet—she’s a family member. We got to spend our last few moments petting her and cradling her snout while Dr. Ayala talked us through everything that was happening and what to expect. We were never out of our pup’s line of sight, and I know that was exactly what she wanted; and for us to be able to do that, in our own home, and without having to move her, meant so much. The first injection was to sedate her, so she’d be unconscious. Sansa just closed her eyes, but her breathing let us know she was still with us. Laruen then let us know the euthanasia was going in. She didn’t feel a thing, It was peaceful. Everything about the process and how Dr. Ayala managed it all was the best we could possibly hope for. And as soon as Sansa passed, she stepped out for a bit so we could say goodbye. Losing a pet is just… hard. And honestly, it was only after some time passed and we could reflect on that day then when it dawned on us how truly fortunate we were to have Lauren there. She was so kind, so caring, and professional in a way that it almost went unnoticed that this is a doctor who has done all the prep, calculated all the medications, then flawlessly executed a procedure that really does take some serious skill. I would urge anyone considering in-home euthanasia to know that it’s worth every penny. Being with your pet in your own home really matters so much. Even if you (like us), can’t fully realize how important the little things matter until you’re able to look back on it later, trust me, you’ll be glad knowing you chose the best option when you were faced with such a difficult decision. I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. Dr. Dzierga was the most compassion and heartfelt veterinary and person I have ever melt concerning anything with my sweet Bella. It was a difficult decision and she took her time and made sure I was ok with it and helped me to know I was making the right choice. You could just see and feel the love and care she has for animals. She made Bella's cross over to the rainbow path with care, compassion as if she was her own. We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. Dr. Kristina Pugh helped us say goodbye to our beloved cat, Rodney, with so much compassion and grace. She enabled us to have beautiful last moments together, making sure he was comfortable and surrounded by love. She gave us as much time as we needed, answered all of our questions, and explained what to expect before anything happened, which made the process gentler and less overwhelming. After days of watching him struggle in pain, it was such a relief to see him at peace. Dr. Pugh went out of her way to call the cemetery ahead of our arrival to make a special request on our behalf. We didn't know she had done that until we showed up there. It was a beautiful surprise. She was so professional, kind, and gentle, guiding our cat smoothly to the other side. I will be forever grateful that she gave him such a peaceful and dignified passing, and gave us the comfort of knowing he left this world loved and at ease.
Dr Sara was incredible. She was incredibly compassionate for Both Tux and his family. Could not recommend someone more highly if you have to make this difficult decision.
We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. The decision to put our handsome pup Rodney to sleep was so difficult. But the care and compassion we received from Dr. Pilago made this process less painful. I can't recommend her highly enough.
Dr Keri Wamoen was the best when the time came to euthanize our beloved dog Teddy who had been with us for 17 wonderful years! She was so compassionate and caring and made something so hard to do seem ok. She was so thorough and explained the whole process step by step. She left us with Teddy’s paw print and picture holder and a lock of his hair to treasure 💕 We would recommend her services again and again. Thanks again Dr Keri !
