I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. And Dr. Lisa Feig more than meets that requirement. A million thanks to her and Coda Pet.
We are so grateful that Dr. Courtney White was available to us, last minute nonetheless. We were able to say goodbye to our precious boy Radar in his favorite spot in our backyard. We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.
Dr. Somerset came on the same day we called. She was very friendly, compassionate and caring. She explained each procedure as she administered them.
This was a very hard and emotional experience. It was something I never wanted to face and as difficult as the situation was Dr. Whala helped so much. She was very patient and understandable it truly made the experience as easy as it could have been❤️
When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. Lane made a horrible no win situation more acceptable with his calm demeanor and soothing words. I can't thank Dr Martin enough for helping little Barney come to peaceful end to his life's journey.
Dr. Keri was incredibly compassionate and handled everything with care. She was punctual and walked us through everything step-by-step and allowed us to take the time we needed.
Dr. Kim was an absolute angel! She made the passing of our sweet Belle (15 year old blue tick) so much easier. Her compassion and just overall presence during such a hard time was so comforting. I will be recommending the at home service to anyone I know who has an elderly dog.

Dr. Shanina Halbert is a compassionate and professional veterinarian who came to our home to help us when the difficult time came to put our 17-year-old cat, Manuelita, to rest. She was kind, communicative and gentle, and went above and beyond to make sure our cat felt safe on her final journey and went peacefully at home in our arms. Her calm bedside manner, clear communication, and genuine kindness made a painful experience much more manageable. She arrived promptly after short, off-hours notice, treated our home and pet with great respect, care, and dignity. Dr. Katie was amazing! She handled everything so professionally yet personally too. Ruger will be so missed by many (as she can attest to, she said it was the biggest crowd she'd had, there were 9 of us) and I will never take my pets to a cold impersonal clinic to pass if I can help it. Having your pet pass at home where they're comfortable and familiar was such a blessing!

This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. Dr Meredith was very kind and very sweet. She explained every step of the process to me and I got to hold my kitty and talk to her and rub her until she passed.
Dr. Katie Todd was very sympathetic to our family as we had to have our beloved Cooper. She came on a Friday night after hours!! She gave is all the time we needed with Cooper to tell him our good byes. It was very private and Cooper deserved to have his last breathes in his happy place…HOME!! Wanda was 14 years old. She was such a big part of our family, we couldn’t imagine saying goodbye to her at the vet’s office. Everyone was here with her, including Kiko our 6 year old rescue. My beautiful boy let me know it was his time on a Saturday morning. After multiple inquiries, Dr. Courtney had the earliest availability for late afternoon on Sunday to come to the house to put my baby to sleep. This was an ideal time so my family and I could say our goodbyes and spend what time we had left with him together. She did offer to come later in the morning on Sunday, if needed, but I kept the 4pm appointment. She arrived on time, was soft spoken, kind, compassionate, and took her time to explain the process, set clear expectations, and answer questions since this was our first experience with at-home euthanasia. She waited until we were ready before administering the sedative/anesthesia, and again with the medication to put him to final rest. She made his clay paw impression afterwards, so not to disturb him before since dogs typically don’t like their paws to be touched. And she then gave us time to privately be with him, and to let her know when we were ready for her to come back inside so she could place him on a stretcher to go in her car. We never felt rushed and he passed peacefully and overall a positive experience, given the circumstances, and gives me comfort during this difficult time. Incredibly grateful that my sweet boy was able to be in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loved ones.
Dr. Murray was amazing. For not knowing our family and meeting us for the first time under stressful circumstance and hard decisions, he was incredible with our family. He was calm, compassionate, and empathetic to our families grief. Never felt rushed and he took his time explaining the process. We are forever grateful for helping us through this really difficult time. I would recommend this 1000 times over to anyone considering this for their pet.
Dr. Gordon performed the euthanasia for my sweet soul dog of 16 years. It was the most peaceful experience I could’ve asked for. She knew exactly what to say and created such a calm environment to spend our final moments together. I’m very grateful for her service.
Dr. Laura was very kind and came all the way out to our farm to help our German Shepherd go to sleep peacefully in her own bed. She was well prepared and explained everything to us in detail the night before our appointment and explained everything that would happen after she arrived at our home. Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful. She is an amazing human and is excellent at what she does. I am so grateful. Thank you so much Dr Delia.
Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Thank you again for being so wonderful to our sweet baby.

Dr. Sara Gardhouse came to our home on May 29th to help our sweet 16 year old boy cross over. She made sure that he was comfortable and at ease. He laid down next to her like he knew she was there to help him. She was so kind and gentle to him. She allowed us to say our goodbyes in private and when he was gone she promised us that she would take good care of him. We highly recommend Dr. Sara because of her professional qualities and love she has for our fur babies.
Dr. Pilago showed so much care and compassion when we had to make the painful decision to put our handsome pup Rodney to sleep. I highly recommend her.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love and support when we had to make the hard decision to free our Channie Boy of the pain. Rebecca met our nervous younger dog outside so she would be prepared for her coming into our home. She sat with us and gave us as much time as needed with our baby. Our Chance was nervous leaving the house due to his instability walking around so we wanted him to be home and comfortable. Dr. Katie was amazing and showed the exact kindness we needed during such a hard time. It was so important for us to spend our Gracie’s last moments at home and she gave that to us. I couldn’t recommend CodaPet and Dr. Katie enough and have already given her card to a few co workers. We will be using CodaPet again in the future when it is our others pups time to go be with her sister.
Dr. Stukey was absolutely amazing during one of the most difficult days of my life. I am so glad Dr. Vernon was available during our time of need. My fur baby crashed very suddenly and unexpectedly and it was a holiday and Dr. Vernon was able to come out on short notice and end my boys suffering. She was very gentle and kind and she asked nice questions about my fur baby, prompting us to bring up memories of the good old days of his youth. She calmly explained the entire euthanasia process to us and she made sure we had enough time to say our goodbyes and didn't rush things. She checked in with me the next day to see how I was doing and gave me updates on when I would get his ashes back, which she hand delivered herself. Saying goodbye to my best friend was the worst day of my life, but at least we were lucky enough to have a doctor that was so thoughtful and genuine to help us through the process.
Dr. Le Blanc helped us get through a very hard experience with our cat. She was empathetic and took the time to explain every step. I really appreciate her. She was also patient with me and understanding as I had reservations leading up to the appointment. We’re very sad but we are also grateful to have our boy pass away peacefully in our arms at home. Dr. Michele Sims was incredibly understanding and compassionate to our dog. She explained everything clearly and was so very kind to Crackle. She arrived at our home right on time. I truly felt her sincerity when she said she was sorry for our loss; you can see that she genuinely cares for both the pet and the owner. I know this is not an easy job, but it is so deeply needed.
Throughout this very depressing process, Dr. Laura Smith did a wonderful job. Considering Abby’s situation, Dr. Smith made sure there was no pain or discomfort, and Abby passed without any stress at all. And further, Dr. Smith’s follow up has been very helpful and attentive. If there was a grade to be had, Dr. Laura Smith would receive an A+.
We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
Dr Dover was so kind and informative. She made the process of Stormy crossing the rainbow bridge much more comfortable and her understanding of our loss was so comforting.

Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Dr. Katie Todd arrived and explained in detail the process, gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes, and made the process as easy as possible. She was very reassuring to my children that we had made the right decision and explained all the options for taking care of the remains and provided us with keepsakes to ease the family’s pain. Dr. Duvall did a fantastic job easing our dog out of this world, and in tending to our human needs and concerns as well. She really went the extra mile and was full of compassion for all of us. I can't imagine how the inherently difficult situation could have been made any easier.

Best decision ever. While my heart is broken, this option of a kind, gentle passing in our home, with no anxiety for my sweet girl was a blessing for both of us. We recently had to make the difficult decision to put down our precious 15 year old Shih Tzu, Sophie. Dr. Goldberg was amazing. Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.

She explained every step in detail, answered our questions, and made sure our wishes were respected and honored. The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.

It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.
Dr. Amanda Harper was the epitome of professionalism. She was kind and took her time with us and our dog. Smokey was relaxed and felt very loved, at home, with his family. I would never choose to do it differently if we were ever to be in that situation again. This service made a terrible situation as easy as it could ever be. Dr. Devlin was an angel. Olsen was my soul dog, and after the vet visits, I knew it was the best choice to have him leave us in our home. Dr. Devlin made this the easiest transition we could have asked for. I received the remains in about a week and I very much appreciate Dr. Devlin and CodaPet for making this very hard time as seamless as possible.

Dr. Schott was nice. It was an incredibly hard decision we made to put our finny down-but ultimately decided we couldn’t watch him suffer anymore. I was a hysterical mess because he was like my first baby-the first thing I ever cared for on my own. She came in to our home and listened and asked questions about our boy. She sent a card a week or so later bringing up the things we had talked about during our appointment. I’m sure that’s common but it just had made it feel more personal and I appreciated that she took the time to listen to us.
We had to make the extremely difficult decision to euthanize our beloved fur baby Bleu (our Beautiful black cat) after a week back and forth and overnight stays at VEG due to the sudden onset of what was diagnosed as sepsis. He was diagnosed in September 2025 with an enlarged heart and had been on medication for that and seemed to be doing well. The onset of this illness coupled with the enlarged heart was too much for his little body to endure. It broke our hearts to put him through all the tests, blood work , and IV’s in an attempt to help him. He would not eat, drink, or take meds for 4 days in spite of our valiant efforts and just slept in the house in unusual places. We waited most of Memorial Day weekend to give him every chance to rebound to no avail and on Sunday we filled out a form for Dr. Lara Allison to do at home euthanasia. She examined Bleu and listened to all the reports about his medical issues and compassionately agreed that we were making the right decision. She explained every step of what would happen and left us time alone to say goodbye to Bleu. Her soft spoken, sympathetic manner was a blessing and she listened to our stories about Bleu. My husband and I sat on our porch (Bleu’s favorite place) as I held him in my lap and my husband rubbed his head and talked to him when Dr. Lara gave him an injection to calm him, and then the one that would send him in peace over the rainbow bridge. He just went to sleep forever in my arms. Dr. Lara left us alone with him and came back when we were ready for her to take him to the funeral home. She carefully put him with the blanket in a basket and took him to her car to drive him there. A beautiful, peaceful end to the life of our wonderful, beloved Bleu. A week later we received a sympathy card with a hand written note from Dr. Lara. She is a special lady, filled with compassion, understanding and sympathy for us when we needed it most.
We decided to use CodaPet when it was time for us to make that decision for our sweet 14 year old St Bernard, Fiona. It was the best thing we could have done. Dr Jason Doolittle made sure the experience was peaceful and went at a pace we were comfortable with. He explained in detail everything that would happen and was very gentle with Fiona.
