Saying goodbye to our beloved dachshund Lily was one of the most painful moments of our lives, but thanks to Dr. Lisa Stadler with CodaPet, it was also one of the most peaceful and compassionate. Dr. Lisa, a retired veterinarian, brought a gentle presence and deep empathy into our home—qualities that made an unbearable day a little more bearable. Her kindness and professionalism helped guide my wife and me through the process with grace and dignity. We are overwhelmingly grateful that Lily was able to pass in the comfort of her home, surrounded by the space and the things she loved most. Dr. Lutri was amazing and wonderful through this difficult process. I don’t know what I would have done if I had to have taken Ellie in and move her. My sweet furry bestie was comfortable on the place she always felt secure. We were all by her side and she went “to sleep” so peacefully. Dr. Lutri was thoughtful and so caring. Dr. Martin was absolutely wonderful during one of the hardest moments of our lives. He explained the process with so much care, gave us time to say goodbye while Ruger passed, and also time afterward to just be with him. He even hand-delivered our pup’s ashes and sent the sweetest card. I will absolutely recommend Dr. Martin to anyone who has to go through this heartbreaking process—he made it as gentle and compassionate as it could possibly be.
Our dog Lilly was 16 years old and showed every sign and diagnosis of an old dog. When I called Dr. Hart's office, her availability and sympathetic approach to our situation made our decision easier. When Dr. Hart arrived at our home, she greeted Lilly with love and tenderness, and towards us, too. For my husband and me, what was about to happen became very real, and she was sensitive to that as well. The process did not take long, as our Lilly, we now believe, was ready to go too. Throughout this process, Dr. Hart explained to us how she would do it, how Lilly would react, and what her final moments would be like. It was comforting to hear them in such a gentle way. When it was all done, she allowed us to say goodbye one last time and to place her into Dr. Hart’s car for a final send-off. We chose to have Lilly cremated and returned to us; that process, which was quoted to take two weeks, was done in less than one. I would highly recommend Dr. Hart to anyone who has to deal with this part of owning a pet. It’s difficult, it is emotional, it’s traumatic, but to have somebody sensitive and caring entering your home to do this, like Dr. Hart allows you to find comfort in the decision you made, and while difficult, it was the right decision.
Dr Gordon was wonderful. She explained the process to us and was so very compassionate and caring. She made a very difficult day a little easier for us. Having the procedure done at home was less stressful on our beloved Westie Lucy as well. Thank you

We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.
Wanda was 14 years old. She was such a big part of our family, we couldn’t imagine saying goodbye to her at the vet’s office. Everyone was here with her, including Kiko our 6 year old rescue. Dr John was everything we needed that day. Patient, understanding, compassionate and professional. Dr. Causey was everything we could have hoped for in such an unbearable moment—gentle, compassionate, and incredibly understanding. She never rushed us. She gave us the space to hold our boy, to love him, to cry, and to say goodbye in the most dignified and loving way possible. Because of her, Jack’s final moments were filled with warmth, comfort, and so much love. Dr. Bagnoni was incredibly responsive and able to accommodate a same-day, in-home euthanasia for our 15-year-old dog, Zeus. She took the time to speak with us beforehand by phone, clearly explaining the process and what to expect. When she arrived, she performed a gentle initial exam, and together we recognized that it was truly Zeus’s time. She walked us through each step in person and thoughtfully answered our 5-year-old son’s questions in a way he could understand. Throughout the entire visit, she was calm, patient, and deeply respectful. Nothing felt rushed. The process was peaceful and free of stress for Zeus, which meant everything to us. We chose cremation, and the turnaround was quick. Dr. Bagnoni provided a beautiful urn, a clay paw print, fur clippings, and ink impressions of Zeus’s paw and nose; keepsakes we will treasure. Her professionalism, compassion, and gentle presence gave us comfort during one of the hardest moments our family has faced. We are grateful that Zeus’s final moments were handled with such dignity and care. I highly recommend Dr. Bagnoni. She is a truly compassionate professional.
The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.
Dr. Meghan was exceptional in every way--truly an angel during a heart breaking time. She was present, consoling, held my hand, loving to my baby, and was extremely reassuring. She sent me a condolence card with the sweetest message. I'm so grateful--thank you Dr. Meghan!

Losing our sweet Ruby to cancer was one of the hardest moments our family has ever faced. During such an emotional time, Dr. Lori Schmalz provided extraordinary compassion and professionalism. Having the at-home euthanasia allowed Ruby to be surrounded by love in the comfort of her own home, which meant everything to us. Dr. Schmalz was gentle, patient, and deeply respectful throughout the entire process. She took the time to explain each step, gave us space to say our goodbyes, and treated Ruby with the utmost dignity. In a moment filled with grief, her kindness truly helped carry our family through. We are profoundly grateful for the care and empathy she showed. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Schmalz to any family facing this incredibly difficult decision.
Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.
Dr. Blades was very caring and compassionate. Mack went very peacefully and the whole process from start to finish was handled with care and respect. The care Dr. Blades took to make sure there was no pain was much appreciated.
When Dr. Kristina Pugh arrived, she met us and the dogs with a very calming presence. You could tell that both dogs felt very comfortable with her. She took the time to explain what to expect through the process and helped guide how we should handle our other dog during and after the loss of his brother. She was patient and kind and did not rush us through any of our goodbyes. We felt like we did the right thing for our boy and his illness and Dr. Kristina helped reinforce that. She’s checked in after the fact truly reiterating that she cared. I recommend Dr. Kristina Pugh to help anyone through this difficult decision and time.
Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Dr. Katie Todd arrived and explained in detail the process, gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes, and made the process as easy as possible. She was very reassuring to my children that we had made the right decision and explained all the options for taking care of the remains and provided us with keepsakes to ease the family’s pain. Thank you so much Dr.Todd in doing what has to be one of the world’s toughest jobs!

When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. Lane made a horrible no win situation more acceptable with his calm demeanor and soothing words. I can't thank Dr Martin enough for helping little Barney come to peaceful end to his life's journey.
She was very considerate and kind, and went at the pace of us. She asked about or pet and had us tell stores. The whole process was peaceful and gentle for our kitty who had cancer and was afraid of vets.
Dr. Lutgen DeWitt was so gentle helping me through the heartbreaking process of the in-home euthanasia of my best friend cat, Tara. I suspected it was the right thing to do for Tara, and Dr. Lutgen DeWitt thoughtfully weighed-in, presented options without pressure, and let me ultimately decide it was time for me to let Tara go. She treated Tara with respect and dignity, which was so sweet to watch. I'm still so sad, but grateful that my final memory of Tara is in the home she grew up in, eating her favorite meal on her favorite plate. Also worth noting, Dr. Lutgen DeWitt communicated via text to indicate she was on the way, arrived exactly on time, and was quick, efficient, and honest explaining the process and the paperwork. This is to say that none of the business of it got in the way of the heart of the matter. I'm thankful to Dr. Lutgen DeWitt for the graceful navigation.
Kirsten was awesome! It was very easy to feel at ease with her being here, very compassionate, and took the passing at our pace and didn’t rush it. She explained everything in detail! We are deeply thankful to Dr. Shannon Nakaya for the care and compassion she showed during our beloved dog Giggsy’s final moments. Saying goodbye was an incredibly painful decision and a very difficult day for us, but her kindness, patience, and gentle approach helped ease the burden. Dr. Nakaya guided us through the process with understanding and treated Giggsy with such tenderness and respect. Her compassion and professionalism truly made all the difference during this heartbreaking time.
Dr. Duvall did a fantastic job easing our dog out of this world, and in tending to our human needs and concerns as well. She really went the extra mile and was full of compassion for all of us. I can't imagine how the inherently difficult situation could have been made any easier.
She was extremely kind and helped us understand the process of how everything was going to happen. She interacted with Rusty before she did anything and he was very comfortable with her. I wanted this to be done in our home where Rusty wouldn’t be scared and he could be held during the whole process. As hard as this decision was I’m so glad of the way we did it because he was as in the home he loved surrounded by his family and he was wasn’t scared. Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. In my life I have been blessed to have a few dogs. Saying goodbye is part of the price we pay. Dr. Gordon made this horrible time easier. I will be eternally grateful for the kindness and compassion she showed not only our precious Baby Girl but also us.

Dr April was so wonderful with not only our sweet Emily at the end of her life but also with our other pets, one of whom probably made her job a lot more difficult (by nature of being a golden retriever). She was deliberate with all her movements and was so respectful with Emily both during and after the procedure, which we so appreciated. If only we were given such dignity at our end.
Dr. Laura was the best. She was so compassionate and explained the details and how my girl would go to sleep peacefully. There was no rushing to take her away from us until we all had a chance to say our goodbyes and we were ready. I thank God for people like Dr. Laura that understand Sophie wasn't just a dog that she was part of our family. Being with my girl while she went over the rainbow bridge was the least I could do after all the unconditional love she gave us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use her again.

We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
Dr. Sara Gardhaouse has an amazing aura about her. In such an Emotinal time she radiates warmth and kindness to help ease the situations hardness. I would gladly refer this company to help with the passing of any fur baby in their own home.

Dr. Gordon performed the euthanasia for my sweet soul dog of 16 years. It was the most peaceful experience I could’ve asked for. She knew exactly what to say and created such a calm environment to spend our final moments together. I’m very grateful for her service.
Dr. Mills guided us through our first pet euthanasia. We cannot imagine having gone through this with anyone else. We are so happy we chose in-home euthanasia. We’ve had our Chloe girl since we rescued her as a kitten. After 17 wonderful years it was time for her to cross the rainbow bridge. She was blind, deaf, and had light blood pressure and kidney failure. She loved to be near us but hated being picked up and she despised trips to the vet. Dr. Mills was ah-mazing. Compassionate, skilled, knowledgeable, etc etc etc. Chloe was able to stay in her favorite spot on the couch, soaked in sunshine, surrounded by her people and peacefully fall asleep. Thank you, Dr. Mills, for being so good at what you do and providing a beautiful and peaceful passing for our beloved Chloe.
Dr. Lisa made herself available for a last-minute urgent call for us and she couldn’t have been more lovely and caring. This is obviously a challenging and sad time for anyone in the position to call. She treated it with reverence and kindness. Feel lucky to have had her.
Dr. Clem was kind, patient & understanding during her home visit. She took the time we needed to say goodbye and most of all, share stories of our beloved Bruno. Dr Bates was friendly, caring and professional from the very start, from first contact through text messaging I could tell she cared about what she does. She made us all feel comfortable while she was in our home with friendly caring conversation . She talked us through each step of what was going to happen . After she made medically sure our boy was in his final rest she went out to her car and gave us the time we needed until we were ready to bring him out . We initially opted for a non individual cremation but then regrettably decided the next day we wanted the ashes back, we called and left a message with the thought that she’s already done her part and was prepared to not hear back from her BUT we did and she made the arrangements for individual cremation. So for all of this I thank her and not to mention this was right after the snow/ice storm we recently had ,, she still showed up when we needed her. Sincerely we thank you Dr Bates ❤️
Dr Keri was so kind and supportive. She explained every step and took her time. The whole experience was so comforting. Being able to hold my 19 year old beloved cat AJ on my couch, as he closed his eyes one last time put me at peace.
Anna made a difficult situation so much easier. She was extremely kind and informative. She was wonderful with our dearly departed senior cat and with our other cats who were curious as well. I would absolutely love to have her help us again in the future.
We had to say goodbye to our 17 year old dog, Zoey, our first baby, who has been with us since she was 10 weeks old. Making that call was the hardest thing we’ve ever done. Inviting someone into our home for such a heartbreaking moment felt overwhelming… but Dr. Jen walked in with so much gentleness and calm that she immediately made it feel safe. She was kind, patient, and unbelievably compassionate. She explained everything softly, gave us as much time as we needed, and treated Zoey with so much dignity and respect. It never felt rushed. It never felt clinical. It felt like someone who truly understands that this isn’t “just a pet.” This is family. Because of Dr. Jen, Zoe was able to pass peacefully in her own home, surrounded by the people who loved her most. In the middle of one of the worst days of our lives, she was a steady, comforting presence. We will always be grateful for that. If you ever find yourself in the heartbreaking position of needing this service, I cannot recommend Dr. Jen enough. She is truly an angel.
Dr.Keri came into our home to put down our beloved cat. She was very sweet and empathetic to our situation and told us to take our time, did not rush the process. She gave me a sweet paw imprint and tiny jar of my tortie's fur to put next to her urn. I highly recommend Dr.Keri to anyone in this situation. ❤️
Dr. McCasland showed genuine care and was so compassionate and kind during her visit to help my sweet Sugar go to sleep peacefully and to no longer be in pain. Sugar’s favorite place was being at home cuddled up next to me, so what a comfort it was that Sugar took her final breath in my lap. Sugar has been a constant comfort and companion to me since my husband passed away 18 months prior. I miss her terribly and she will always have a piece of my heart. Thank you Amanda for being here for both of us!
Dr. Michele Sims was very kind and compassionate when our dog passed. She explained everything to us along the way. It was obvious that she cares deeply about pets and we are so glad she was there when it was time for Kai to cross the rainbow bridge. We will be forever thankful.
Best decision ever. While my heart is broken, this option of a kind, gentle passing in our home, with no anxiety for my sweet girl was a blessing for both of us. Dr. Gibson was so sweet and compassionate. It is obvious she was born to do exactly this. Her respect for my baby was so comforting. I won't ever go a different route again.
Dr. Feig made the transition easier for my dog, family & I. Making the decision to euthanize a family member is truly devastating! I’m grateful that Brando chose to be outside in our front lawn away from his lil brother inside (a nervous pittie inside the house.) to also make it easier for the Doctor as well… He chose his location and my mom & I were by his side the whole time. The doctor was friendly, understanding and was very thorough in explaining the procedure. Brando was calm and in peace so it made the process easier. We’re still gutted in loosing such an important part of our family but we’re at peace knowing that we did our best and that we provided him a home with lots of love & treats! He is missed today & always! We’re grateful to Dr. Feig for her compassionate assistance.
It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.
Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful. She is an amazing human and is excellent at what she does. I am so grateful. Thank you so much Dr Delia.
Dr. Jessica Loweth was so kind and made this process feel gentle and calm. Highly recommend her and the process of at home euthanasia. This was my first time and will always choose this for my fur babies.
This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. Dr Anna was on time, very loving, caring and made us all feel at ease with going forward. She even brought a treat for him, and my very usually picky dog ate it!
