Dr Gonnering was so wonderful. I had had such a stressful day deciding that my sweet cat, Dottie, was at the end of her life - and when Dr Gonnering walked in she had such a quiet, peaceful presence that I immediately felt that Dot and I were in good hands. I didn’t feel rushed through the process and she explained the steps as we went along. Dottie died very peacefully with her head in my hand. Such a different experience and it was beautiful. Dr Gonnering gently tucked Dottie into a lovely cloth basket and curled her so she looked like she was sleeping. Never easy to say goodbye to a furry long-term roommate and friend but I am very grateful that Dr Gonnering made the experience so much easier with her calm, compassionate demeanor.
Dr Clem was very sensitive to the needs of our beloved pet as well as our family. She was so caring and thoughtful, giving us plenty of time to say goodbye without making us feel rushed. She eased into the process gently so that our little angel relaxed and did not suffer. I appreciate the service she provided and I would not hesitate to use her services again.

Dr. Gonnering was amazing, despite the heartbreaking circumstances. She handled everything with care and respect, especially our cat Thomas. We never felt rushed, and were given plenty of time to say goodbye.
Dr. Lara Allison provided us with the most compassionate experience we could have hoped for when saying goodbye to our sweet girl Ruby. What can you say about someone who took one of the worst days of your life and made it bearable with their loving kindness? We will be forever grateful. Our sweet Ruby was just 9 years old when she started acting differently, slowing down, loss of appetite, not her normal happy self. We brought her to our vet and after bloodwork and an ultrasound we learned that she had a sizable mass on her spleen. Lifesaving options were drastic and her prognosis for recovery was not good. We were devastated. Knowing that failing to put her through surgery, confinement, and likely chemotherapy her tumor would likely rupture and put necessitate getting her to an emergency vet where her odds of survival would have been dismal. The thought of putting her through this ordeal guided our decision to seek in home pet euthanasia. We had 2 previous dogs, our first was euthanized at the SPCA because we were away from home when his time came and no local vet could assist us. It was an awful, desperate situation. When our next dog reached her end we were fortunate to locate a vet who performed at home euthanasia and we were able to make arrangements for this service. Having experienced both at home and in office end of life services there is simply no question that allowing my pet to pass in their own home surrounded by loved ones is the only choice I would ever make. I was so grateful we were able to find Dr. Allison to help us with Ruby. The care she showed our family in our hour of need was extraordinary. Ruby was an amazing, loving dog and we feel that saying goodbye to her was sacred. Lara Allison treated us with the utmost kindness and respect. Three days have passed since we lost our sweet girl. We are still grieving her loss but we are comforted by the way we said goodbye. We shared happy memories of Ruby, while she nibbled on some of Lara's home made treats. We gently stroked her and comforted her with calm words, we let her know how much we loved her as she was falling to sleep. She locked my gaze as she drew her last breaths. Her final loving gaze will stay with me always. It was sacred.
Dr. Laura was kind and compassionate and very gentle with our little girl Betty Lou. It was such a comfort having her at our home rather than at her vets office.
Dr Dykstra was professional and so kind. The night before she let me know my Rex could have chocolate around lunch time. It was a thoughtful gesture for me to treat my good boy one last time. This was a behavioral neutralization and I was feeling a lot of guilt. The doctor talked with me about why I made this decision and made this process easier. Doc Benjamin Litwack was wonderful ! He was so gentle and thoughtful! He helped us in this difficult time that is so heart wrenching! He explained everything that he was doing, why he was doing it, and how long it would take. This In Home Pet Euthanasia is more humane than in a facility where our dog Macy always gets stressed. Dr Sanchez could not have been more professional and at the same time compassionate and supportive. We lost 2 dogs within a two month period and were devastated. Dr Sanchez made our losses bearable and any residual concern over making this decision quickly disappeared. I cannot imagine saying goodbye to one of our pets any other way.
We're so thankful Dr. Renee was there to help our sweet Felix cross the rainbow bridge. She was professional and respectful of our grief, our space (which included two young boys processing it all in their own way), and our other cat Mini. I have zero regrets about the in-home euthanasia process and I'm glad our Felix's suffering is over now so he can prowl infinite counter tops in the great beyond.
Dr. Jones went above and beyond to make a difficult time peaceful and meaningful for our family as we said our goodbyes to our sweet Yoshi. Her kindness and care was evident in all.she did. From asking about her life, what kind of dog she was, what her favorite things.were to providing a blanket for Yoshi and administering the euthanasia drug hidden under the blanket.We were able to have her next to me in her favorite spot on the couch, her head in my lap, and to let her and tell her how much we loved her until her last heartbeat. We were allowed private time to say our final goodbyes and Dr. Jones gently carried her away.
Dr Sarah was absolutely the best. She was kind, compassionate, understanding, soft spoken, and Tobi was very comfortable with her. She explained the process as she worked and waited patiently, asking us if we were ready for the next step. We were touched by the beautiful basket when she took him with her. And the cards and texts have been very personalized which we also love. Dr Clem went above and beyond our expectations.
Words cannot truly express how grateful I am for the deep kindness and dignity Dr. Tolbert provided during such a heartbreaking time. Saying goodbye to Riley was incredibly difficult, but having this service performed in the comfort of our own home made a world of difference. Dr. Tolbert showed immense respect, patience, and true empathy from the moment she arrived. I am forever grateful for the beautiful and gentle transition provided for my sweet Riley.
An Extraordinary Veterinarian During an Incredibly Difficult Time Saying goodbye to our sweet Noodle, the heart and soul of our family, was one of the most heartbreaking experiences we have ever been through. Dr. Thomas made an unbearable moment gentler through her kindness, compassion, and grace. From the moment she arrived, Dr. Thomas was so incredibly kind and gentle with Noodle. She treated her with such tenderness and respect, and she was equally thoughtful and compassionate toward all of us as we said our final goodbye. Her calm presence and genuine understanding carried us through a moment we never wanted to face. What touched us even more was what happened several days later. Dr. Thomas sent us a beautiful sympathy card addressed to each of us by first name—even our children, who had been with us on FaceTime from across the country. That small, extraordinarily thoughtful gesture meant so much to our family and showed just how deeply she understood what Noodle meant to all of us. There are no easy words for losing a beloved pet who was truly a member of our family. But Dr. Thomas gave Noodle the peaceful, loving goodbye she deserved and gave us comfort when we needed it most. I wish every sweet pet and every family facing this heartbreaking moment could have the privilege of being cared for by Dr. Thomas. We will always be grateful to her for the compassion she showed Noodle and our entire family.
Sarah was exceptional through a very difficult time. She made the transition for my sweet dog as peaceful and comfortable as possible. I would highly recommend Sarah to assist with this tough step in your home, where you and your pet can be comfortable surrounded by love.
Dr. Duvall was the kindest most gentle vet. She made us feel comfortable immediately and was so gentle with our geriatric dog. Our sweet Chiclet was never anxious and felt safe with Dr. Duvall. She had a wonderfully calm and gentle presence. She made our sweet dogs passing an easy and gentle process.
She was so sensitive to my wishes. She spent time with Mason, patient, compassionate so respectful. She waited until my other dog was comfortable before she proceeded.
Dr. Roberts was wonderful to work with, even though it was a horrible situation. She was very kind and caring to my kids; who were all very upset about the loss of our cat. Thank you 🥲

When we got our dog, Dr. Benedetto was our first choice when choosing a vet for our pup. You cannot find a better veterinarian/caregiver! Dr. Lisa Fieg was exactly the person we needed on one of the hardest days of our lives. Our beloved cat Miles let us know that he was ready, and Lisa came to our home on a Sunday to help us say goodbye. From the moment she arrived, she was incredibly kind, calm, and compassionate. She explained everything to us without rushing us and treated Miles with such gentleness and respect. She made sure he was comfortable on his favorite pouf, tucked him into a blanket, and gave us all the time we needed with him. She even helped us understand how to give our other cat, Colin, a chance to say goodbye to his friend. Afterward, she placed Miles in a beautiful basket she had brought for him, and when she carried him to her car, she had another blanket and flowers waiting for him. That small detail meant more to me than I can explain. It felt like she understood that he wasn’t just a pet we were losing. He was our boy. We will always be grateful for the kindness, dignity, and tenderness she showed Miles in his final moments, and for the compassion she showed us as we said goodbye. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to help him peacefully leave this world.
I can’t say enough about Dr.Todd. Our fur baby was at the end of her life and Dr.Todd came to our house to put our baby to sleep. It made it easier for Cali to be comfortable. Dr.Todd was very patient and gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye. I’d recommend CodaPet and DrTodd to anyone wanting their fur baby to be comfortable and at home. We rescued Cali from the local shelter in September 2012. Cali was the best dog ever.
Dr. Novik was kind and compassionate when it was time to say goodbye to my little girl, Biscuits. She crossed the Rainbow Bridge in a peaceful and dignified manner and I am forever grateful.

Dr. Dubose was wonderful during the difficult process of losing my sweet girl, Maddie. She made sure that I understood how the process worked and spent plenty of time answering my questions and addressing my concerns. I could not have asked for a more compassionate and patient person to have come to my home and helped me through it. Although I will miss my girl immensely, I am so thankful that she was able to pass away in her own bed surrounded by those who love her. Highly recommend.
Dr Amy was so compassionate and gentle with our Sophie and us. It was such an emotional afternoon and she was willing to take as long as necessary for us to say goodbye. She definitely knew the right things to do to make it as gentle a process as possible. I could see and feel the relief in Sophie as she relaxed and fell asleep. Dr Amy described the process in detail and what to expect. It went exactly as she described. I can’t thank her enough. It’s hard to explain what it meant to be able to say goodbye to Sophie in her home with her favorite things around her.
Dr. Magnotta is truly the only person we could imagine working with during such a difficult time for our family. This is the second time in 7 months we have had to work with her and are grateful for the service. She was absolutely wonderful with helping us transition our beloved girl (and previously, boy): compassionate, kind, and empathic. Dr. Struble was so kind and explained everything that was going to happen. We didn’t feel rushed and we’re able to spend as usual time as we needed with our sweet boy.
He was very compassionate and comforting during a very difficult time. He responded immediately when Bella was stressed and struggling , also very reassuring I was making the right decision. Many thanks to him and his assistant.
Our 17 year old Siamese was struggling. Simply eating and moving had become a chore for him. We wanted nothing more than another 17 years with him but also knew we had to put his needs above our wants. Buster hated car rides and hated the vet even when he was at his best. Hubby tried to reason that it would be cheaper to take him to the vet but I didn’t want his last memories to be a panic or traumatic for him. Dr. Dianna Phillips came to our house and allowed us to spend time saying our goodbyes to our sweet boy. She gave him medication to make him feel comfortable and then he passed peacefully in an environment he was familiar with and comfortable in with his parents by his side. It was devastating to watch him take his last breath but it was as wonderful of an experience as it could have ever been. God bless these people who choose to put themselves in such a position every single day. Sometimes the best we can do for our beloved pets is to let go.
Emily was super responsive. We had a plan for Wednesday evening and our pet took a turn for the worse Monday night/ early Tuesday morning. I texted Emily early in the morning and she responded right away! I couldn’t have been easier in a very difficult situation! Emily couldn’t have been any more kind or caring. Thank you!
Dr. Jennifer Tolbert was incredibly thoughtful, kind, and compassionate during Fletch’s final visit. She took such care to make both Fletch and me feel comfortable throughout an incredibly difficult moment. She gave us the time we needed, treated him with so much gentleness and dignity, and made a heartbreaking experience as peaceful as it possibly could be. I’m truly grateful for the compassion she showed us and for the care she gave Fletch in his final moments.
I have never had anyone so caring and the fact that she made Beau's last minute so pain free and comfortable. I miss him dearly and her comfort was so awesome. I have recommended her to everyone of my friends and family members. Having him put to sleep at home didn't hurt anymore and didn't hurt any less, but I will always feel better when my little family member can be comfortable and extremely stress free in the last moment of their life is extremely important to me and I would not do it any other way.
I truly appreciated the care that she showed my sweet Casey Bear. She was patient with me as I asked for a few more minutes with him before she started his transitional process and she asked if I was ready for her to administer the final dose of medication that let him take his final rest. I’m getting teary eyed as I write this but I really want people to know that she was an extremely caring person who cared for my baby boy.
This was the hardest decision to make but Dr. Dover was so amazing and made the experience extremely memorable. She came in with such love care and respect for what we were going through. Reached out to the days leading up as my sweet dog’s health declined rapidly. I am so thankful I had her there with me and my kids, talk us through the process and what to expect. It was a calm and loving experience for such a hard day. I can look back at it with a somber heart instead of just sadness.
Dr. Josh was very caring and kind , he explained to us what was happening as he was preparing to administer Mary Jane in her journey to leaves us to find rest and peace after a few years battling with her health. We will recommend Him to our friends and relatives to help other parents to go through such a painful loss knowing that our precious pets are in no pain but to send them in their journey with dignity and love. Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Dr. Katie Todd arrived and explained in detail the process, gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes, and made the process as easy as possible. She was very reassuring to my children that we had made the right decision and explained all the options for taking care of the remains and provided us with keepsakes to ease the family’s pain. Thank you so much Dr.Todd in doing what has to be one of the world’s toughest jobs!
It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.
We are so grateful that Dr. Courtney White was available to us, last minute nonetheless. We were able to say goodbye to our precious boy Radar in his favorite spot in our backyard. Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.
Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Thank you again for being so wonderful to our sweet baby.
Dr. Lisa made herself available for a last-minute urgent call for us and she couldn’t have been more lovely and caring. This is obviously a challenging and sad time for anyone in the position to call. She treated it with reverence and kindness. Feel lucky to have had her.
I can't say enough fabulous things about Dr. Jessica Pruitt! It was a hard decision (as it always will be) when its time for our "buddies" to have to leave us:( but Dr. Jessica is so gentle and kind. She explains everything, is very patient and my Molly just warmed right up to her which made things even easier. When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. Lane made a horrible no win situation more acceptable with his calm demeanor and soothing words. I can't thank Dr Martin enough for helping little Barney come to peaceful end to his life's journey.
This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. Dr Anna was on time, very loving, caring and made us all feel at ease with going forward. She even brought a treat for him, and my very usually picky dog ate it! The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.
We are deeply thankful to Dr. Shannon Nakaya for the care and compassion she showed during our beloved dog Giggsy’s final moments. Saying goodbye was an incredibly painful decision and a very difficult day for us, but her kindness, patience, and gentle approach helped ease the burden. Dr. Nakaya guided us through the process with understanding and treated Giggsy with such tenderness and respect. Her compassion and professionalism truly made all the difference during this heartbreaking time.

We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.
Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful. Dr. Amanda Harper was the epitome of professionalism. She was kind and took her time with us and our dog. Smokey was relaxed and felt very loved, at home, with his family. I would never choose to do it differently if we were ever to be in that situation again. This service made a terrible situation as easy as it could ever be. Highly recommend to all my pet-loving friends.
I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. And Dr. Lisa Feig more than meets that requirement. A million thanks to her and Coda Pet.

Best decision ever. While my heart is broken, this option of a kind, gentle passing in our home, with no anxiety for my sweet girl was a blessing for both of us. Dr. Kim was an absolute angel! She made the passing of our sweet Belle (15 year old blue tick) so much easier. Her compassion and just overall presence during such a hard time was so comforting. I will be recommending the at home service to anyone I know who has an elderly dog.
We decided to use CodaPet when it was time for us to make that decision for our sweet 14 year old St Bernard, Fiona. It was the best thing we could have done. Dr Jason Doolittle made sure the experience was peaceful and went at a pace we were comfortable with. He explained in detail everything that would happen and was very gentle with Fiona. We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
In my life I have been blessed to have a few dogs. Saying goodbye is part of the price we pay. Dr. Gordon made this horrible time easier. I will be eternally grateful for the kindness and compassion she showed not only our precious Baby Girl but also us.
