Dr. Dan Taylor was an absolute pleasure to work with. He made the entire experience much easier for my family during a very difficult time. He was in constant contact throughout the week as I hemmed and hawed my decision. When it came time for our appointment, he spent a good amount of time explaining everything to my family and allowed time for questions. He assured us that we had made the right decision, which I know helped me in that moment. This service was so helpful to us. Dr. Glenn was so kind and caring. He walked us through the process and listened to stories about our beloved pup. It helped us immensely to say good bye to our Stella blue in the comfort of our own home. No stress of the vets office and our other dog was able to be there for his sister. We would definitely recommend this to make such a difficult day a little bit easier.

He was soft spoken, heartfelt, and made everyone feel comforted while he helped us say goodbye to our 23 year old cat. My children were able to experience this necessary life lesson with Dr Jackson's support and step by step talk through of everything he did with Dax's (our cat) transition into death. If you have the unfortunate need for their services then Dr Glenn Jackson will be the angel you need in that tough time.

Dr. Bates was wonderful to us and our dog during her final moments. She was extremely professional, very communicative about the process, and incredibly kind. I felt my pup was in great hands and she was completely comfortable when she passed. She gave us space to grieve and was additionally super sweet to our other animals.
Dr. Gibson was the absolute greatest when we made the decision to say goodbye to our beloved Bentley. This was the first time we have used her & unfortunately it won’t be the last. Taking our kitty anywhere was always so stressful on him. She was the kindest & most compassionate vet ever. She handled him so gently. This was the best outcome for such a horrible situation.

I would 100 % recommend Dr. Perzak and CodaPet. She was professional, kind and understanding of the fears and emotions of a pet parent. Letting an aging pet go is heavy on the heart but the process was as calm and peaceful as it could be. Codapet was the best choice we made to help our pet at the end of his life. Dr. Warren was so helpful in every aspect of the procedure in telling me what was going to happen and what to expect. He told us to take as much time as we need and sat on the floor with us and just talked. Our little man went peacefully in my lap as we were petting him and talking to him. It couldn't have been more comforting to know he was not scared and we were all there in our home at the end. Thank you so much Dr. Warren!
Dr. Daniela Lutri has such a calming presence. She was able to accommodate my family and she listened to how I wanted to spend the last few moments with my precious cat. We miss her but we are glad my cat was able to pass stress free in her own home.
Dr Earls was amazing. Fast to respond and was a true blessing for us. She was so good with our Cosmo and really made him feel comfortable. From start to finish she concentrated on Cosmo and us to make sure we all were good. She later sent us a beautiful “thinking of you” card and then later brought over a beautiful urn with his ashes and even a clay paw print. There was also a certificate and date of cremation. If you have to go through this I would recommend Dr. Carol Earls 100%. She is a wonderful caring person.
We made the very difficult decision to euthanize our sweet cat, Sophie. However, CodaPet and Dr. Whala made at home pet euthanasia a beautiful option for our family. Dr. Whala created a calm and peaceful environment for our heartbreaking moment which put us all at ease including our fur baby. All things considered, the experience we had in using CodaPet to arrange for our dear Bella’s departure and in working with Dr Lori Thomas was wonderful. Angel had an amazing, happy, love filled life! She was my buddy and we went everywhere together. Our journey in life has come to a close, and I am very thankful to have had Dr. Kim help make the final moments come to a peaceful ending. I just picked up Angel's urn yesterday. I am so happy to have her back home now where she belongs right by the living room coffee table in her favorite spot. The house is different now........but I am at peace. The sad experience was made more comfortable by the veterinarian’s compassion. She allowed us to set the pace. Saying “goodbye” in the warmth of our own home vs a sterile environment made a big difference.
Dr. Keri was a consummate professional with just the right balance of kindness, patience and compassion. The entire process was easy to navigate, timely and so very dignified for our precious dog. Cassandra made a Very Unexpected and Sad Event as smooth as it could possibly be! From heartfelt conversations before, a gentle approach during and a skilled and caring departure, I wouldn't have done this any other way! Our beloved Frida just turned 20 years old this year. We knew she had several health problems, and that the time would come when we would have to say goodbye. Frida hated going to the vet, and got very stressed in the car. For this reason, we desperately wanted her to die peacefully at home. We had hoped that one day she would simply go to sleep and not wake up. But instead, she began to have a flare up with a chronic illness that made her incredibly sick and in pain. Last Wednesday, after hours and with our normal vet on medical leave (unavailable) we made a call for help to Coda Pet - at home pet euthanasia. Dr. Amy Roberts left right away. She was so kind and patient. Frida was so dehydrated, weak, and almost non-responsive already, but Dr. Roberts understood that we did not want her to hurt any longer. She didn't rush us, and even allowed our other pets time to say goodbye to their furbling. We will forever be grateful for the willingness to come quickly, and at night, to help our Frida cross over at peace, in our laps, by the fireplace, in our home. No amount of time is ever enough to be with our beloved babies, but at least we got to help her cross peacefully at home and with the help of a caring and patient vet. My experience with Code A Pet started at a vet appointment with a very compassionate vet who recommended Code A Pet should I need them over a weekend. My call for an appointment was full of understanding about losing a pet. Dr. Sarah Clem came to my house to put down my 15 year rescue dog. My dog use to get overwhelmed when going to a vet, by having Dr. Clem come to my house she was able to stay calm. Dr. Clem was very empathetic, explaining everything she did. I would highly recommend this service and have to my friends.
My husband and I wanted to thank Doctor Chapman for her professionalism and warmth throughout a very difficult time. Our Charley had been deteriorating quickly, and she evaluated him with enormous care and compassion. Throughout the process she showed much kindness and concern for both us and for him, and gave us the opportunity to say goodbye to him and bring his suffering to an end gently and with dignity. We appreciate everything she did and her care and concern throughout the process.
Dr. Karen Duncan was/ is wonderful. She came as a blessing during the time when our kitty needed it most. She was so kind and merciful, that even my hard-core mother was tearing for a few days. Taking the initial steps was the hardest decision I’ve ever made. Having Dr. Karen Whala as part of my Stoney’s final moments leaves me with a sense is peace. She was incredibly patient and compassionate throughout the entire process and treated both he and I like family. I can’t begin to put into words how grateful I am that my Stoney was able to be home in his last chapter surrounded with love and his favorite human by his side!

I genuinely can’t imagine having gone through this experience without Dr Norman’s support and demeanor. She was incredibly respectful and compassionate , let us have space for grief, and also spoke to us through it in a way that was both informative and empathetic in a way that made me feel less dread during the entire process than I would have otherwise. Dr Norman took a very painful and slightly traumatic situation and made it feel like a funeral, celebrating the cat’s life with respect and love, vs. a clinical procedure. And yet she also explained every step of the way where my pet was along in the process. I know for certain she was not in pain during it. Thank you very much
Dr. Sims was amazing and she handled her job with the utmost grace. Our dog Brooklyn was very calm and relaxed during the process. Dr. Sims also gave us comfort in knowing we were making the right decision.
Dr. Lisa Fieg was very accommodating and compassionate while providing in-home euthanasia services for my rapidly declining Basset Hound. She came out the same night after hearing that my dog was experiencing seizures. I highly recommend her for anytime one has to euthanize their pet and wants to have it done at home.

It’s difficult to give a great review of one of the worst days of your life. Dr. Lori was so compassionate and moved at a pace I was comfortable with. She made sure my dog ,Red, was relaxed and comfortable the whole time. She arranged the transport to the crematorium and we received his ashes in less than a week. I was connected to Dr. Lowman through CodaPet and was so thankful she was the one to help us say goodbye to our sweet pup. I had called around a few other places and couldn't find appointments within the week. I was beginning to worry I'd have to take my dog to the vet instead, which would have been extremely distressing for her. Thankfully, I checked CodaPet and was able to get a next-day appointment with Dr. Lowman. It was the perfect amount of time for us to spend one last good day with our girl, but also soon enough that she did not have to be in pain for long. Dr. Lowman was kind, compassionate, and a great listener. She allowed me to tell her my dog's life story, ask questions, and quelled my fears and doubts about the process. She sent a sympathy card to us in the mail, which just meant so much during this tough time. I am so glad that I know between the time we said goodbye and the time she was taken for cremation, that she was in the best hands with Dr. Lowman. I could go on and on, but will just say there's no one else I'd have wanted to guide us through this difficult time. Dr. Vosburg was so empathetic during this whole process. She was there with us to talk us through the entire process, what to expect, and to simply hold our hands and cry with us. I’ve lost a few fur babies and this was by far the gentlest way of saying goodbye for now to my sweet girl.
Dr Hemmer was such a light in a dark day for our family. Jake our 15 year old was ready to move on but he kept hanging on because I feel he knew we weren’t quite ready. But after coming home from vacation I knew it was time for me to make the decision. He was so miserable. To have Dr Hemmer come to our house was a blessing because Jake hated car rides so he would have had a traumatic last few hours. This way he was able to pass peacefully at home surrounded by all of us, even his best bud, our cat Tank. She was so sweet and very calming for all of us. I will use her again when it’s Tanks time. She made such a scary experience truly beautiful. I had my Doobie 15.5 years and when the end came the last thing I wanted was for him to be afraid. She made him so comfortable and peaceful in his own home and bed. I am so grateful I made the decision to contact CodaPet.
We had to put our oldest dog down 6 days before we had to put Tate down and we used lap of love and I'm going to tell you the experience between the two or night and day. I will never ever recommend or use this company or that doctor again. Not only did I feel judged as she kept repeating how dehydrated my dog was, but my 17-year-old daughter felt judged as well. She didn't take any time and showed no compassion. Her bedside manner was horrible and it almost seemed as though she rushed us through the process. Lap of love was here for an hour. We were giving our dog treats. We were petting him. She asked when we were ready. She left the room after administering the first dose that puts him to sleep to give us privacy and then she left again when he passed so we can say our goodbyes and gave us privacy. Put him on a stretcher with blankets and carried them out to the car. This doctor puts my dog in a body bag (and I didn't appreciate that. She called it a body bag) in a basket. And then I felt completely blindsided when I went into my driveway where her car was parked to ask if I could change the urn and her boyfriend or husband was sitting in the driver seat waiting for her with a puppy in the car. My husband later then said that he was very unhappy with her and that he was wondering why the car was running in the driveway the whole time. That is insane and you charge $1,000 for this? I would have paid $2,000 for lap of love to come back out. Unfortunately they didn't have any doctors available. Tate was my best friend for 14 years. This has been a devastating loss for me and I am extremely extremely disappointed and upset with how this doctor handled the situation. I know she was dehydrated. She didn't have to keep saying it over and over again. I took her to the vet the day before and they did blood work and found out that morning that she was in kidney failure. I did everything that I could for my dog and then I knew it was time. She is the worst doctor ever. I will never recommend this company and I will never get that horrible experience out of my head. She should not be allowed around dogs and leaving her car running in the driveway with her husband or boyfriend or whoever it was in the car. And then she hands me some crappy death certificate. When we got our other dog's ashes back from the crematorium they had so many nice things in a bag to give us including his death certificate which was printed out and pretty and nice. Not a piece of copy paper that she just jotted the name and date down on. It was very very disrespectful and very hard. She has no compassion or bedside manner and I'm very disappointed. Again. I would never recommend this company to anybody, especially not that doctor. She did not care about my dog or my family.
Dr. Pugh was absolutely amazing throughout. She was so kind and gentle and made sure my beloved dog had the best possible experience in her passing. If you are considering in home pet euthanasia, Dr. Pugh is the best.

Dr. Lewis was amazing throughout this process. It's one of the most difficult things we go thru as pet owners but she was so compassionate & caring. Having her come to the house was the best thing we did for our dog. Dr. Lewis gave us all the time we needed before & after, to make sure we we had our time to say our final goodbyes. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Lewis when you have to go through this difficult process, she made this event much easier to process.
Dr. Lori came to our house yesterday to help us say goodbye to our kitty. She seemed to have all the time in the world for us. She had the skills to handle our feisty cat and stayed very calm and kind. She recommended that we let our dog come and see the cat before she took her away, so he would understand why she was gone. She asked my daughter, who is 17, if she wanted the cat on her lap for the last part, and my daughter was thankful for that. Thank you, Dr. Lori.

Dr. Patterson was extremely compassionate, kind, and professional. Making the decision to euthanize a pet is never easy. Being able to hold my pet at home where he felt safe and loved while making a peaceful transition was the last gift I was able to give my boy. It doesn't get any better than Dr. Marlene Anschultz. I've had 3 horrid experiences with at-home euthanasia that haunt me to this day. I don't want to use anyone else for this process than Dr. Marlene. Ever. She was genuine. She sat on the floor with us in the kitchen where our pet was comfortable. She talked to us. She talked to our cat. She asked questions about our life with him. We laughed and we cried. We were at ease from the moment she walked in. Dr. Marlene's time with us was gentle, kind, understanding, and patient. Not only did she explain the procedure in detail, she gave us time to process what she was saying. She answered questions. She asked us questions. She explained the disease progression in understandable language and why, because of what was happening, that there was kindness in letting him go. The time Dr. Marlene gave us to say our final goodbye was without limits. No pressure. No frustration. No looking at her watch. Dr. Anna did a wonderful job. She had a very gentle way with Samantha, my baby of 14 years. She stroked her and talked to her. Gently wrapped her in the blanket that had been hers and mine when she sat in my lap. SamE was a 65 pound lap dog for 12 of her 14 years. She was a lap dog until she could no longer climb into my lap. Dr. Anna listened to me babble and gave me Kleenex for my tears. I could not have asked for a more gentle passing for our baby. Anyone who uses Dr. Anna’s services would be very pleased.
If this profession must exist, Dr. Claire Gibson is the exact type of person you would want by your side to guide you through such a traumatic experience. It's taken me months to even write a review because I'm still so distraught over my loss, but I have to say she really made the experience the best it could possibly be given the circumstances. She was so incredibly kind and you can just tell she cares and feels for you so much. She was even able to give me peace of mind ahead of our appointment because I was unsure if I was doing the right thing or not. She was able to explain it in a way that just made sense and it made me feel a lot better about it all. She made sure everyone was comfortable and explained the process each step of the way. She even sent me the sweetest sympathy card. I still feel really lucky that she was the doctor I had. I think my experience would have been a lot worse had it not been for her. Thank you so very much - I truly appreciate everything you do.
Our experience with Dr. Whala was an incredible one. Our 17 year old cat had been living with kidney disease for several years, but it progressed rapidly the last two months. Within a few days he greatly declined and we were faced with the unthinkable choice of putting him to sleep or continuing to care for him while he suffered unnecessarily. When we finally decided to have him humanely euthanized, our regular vet's office recommended CodaPet. We had to make a very fast decision, and were able to book an appointment with Dr. Whala the very next morning. From the moment we booked to the appointment, everything went professionally and with the utmost compassion. Dr. Whala texted the next morning to confirm everything and explain the process. When she arrived, she was extremely kind and caring, and allowed our entire family the time and respect to spend as much time as we needed with our beloved cat. She explained the entire process and was just lovely in her demeanor. It was obviously an emotional time, and she knew exactly how to proceed without overwhelming us. As the visit continued, she explained everything she was doing and made sure to ask us if we had any questions or concerns. She provided compassionate care and went above and beyond to respect this difficult time. For anyone wondering if this is the route for them to take, I highly recommend at-home euthanasia with Dr. Whala. Yes, it was difficult and not an enjoyable time, but I can't thank her enough for the care she took to help our beloved Indy cross the rainbow bridge. If you are in a similar situation, or questioning whether this is the right decision for you, I absolutely recommend using Dr. Whala and allowing her to help your loved one pass on with dignity. Thank you Dr. Whala for honoring our cherished pet.

Casper was not letting anyone near him for 2 days. Erin arrived and he immediately took to her. After she relieved his pain (first shot), he started to finally take treats from my wife and my hand. It felt that he allowed us to say goodbye. I wish I could give her unlimited stars. She gave us the gift of reconnecting to Casper one last time.
Dr. Hart was great and the experience could not have been more peaceful. This was a very painful day for me but Dr. Hart did not rush me and I had plenty of time to comfort my baby and say goodbye. She explained the process and told me what she was doing and what to expect for each step. I highly recommend her and it was worth every penny to be able to give my girl a peaceful passing.
Dr Chapman was exceptional. She is kind, thorough, creates a comfortable atmosphere, and comforted our family and other dogs. I have never experienced something so amazing. Our Molly passed comfortably and peacefully as the energy in the room was calm. I will always think of her and how great she made this for us. We couldn’t be more pleased and more accepting of the entire process. It was wonderful.
A few sentences of the experiences of the CodaPet services would be completely out of context and not give a true representation of what we were feeling. Our dog loved to give boops, steal shoes when he cam inside, take walks, protect and defend us from attacking dogs, and suck his dinner down faster than a speeding SR-71 Blackbird. Then he got cancer that metastasized to his lungs , and we tried to keep him happy to enjoy all those things. We did radiation, chemo, and drug cocktails to kept him alive and happy for months after the diagnosis, months longer than he had originally been expected to live. The pain got worse, we tried another round of radiation, which worked for a few weeks, but then he got fussy over food. We would change to other tasty things for him to eat, which worked at first for a few days, then would work only for one meal, then he wouldn't eat. Because the cancer was in his leg he would hobble outside, clearly in pain, but kept his head up, laying on the grass, watching the world go by, still being a dog. He got so thin. One never knows the best time to do the euthanasia. If too soon, one feels they're depriving the dog of being a dog and enjoying life. Too late and the dog is just miserable and can't really be a dog any more. We may have had one or two more days before our boopy-boy couldn't be a dog any more, but there was no point in dragging out his agony any more. This was no longer about what we wanted, it had to be about what was best for him. Dr. Lisa from CodaPet was empathetic, caring, and knew how to make everyone comfortable, including the dog. He barked at the stranger in the house, always wanting to protect us, even if he couldn't even stand up. She showed us how to keep him calm and rest and not be aware when she gave him the sedative. He finally relaxed, the pain washing away, finally at peace at home on his own bed before she gave him the final injections. Dr. Lisa wrapped him in a blanket and we carried him to her car and we put him in the back, with some nice flowers arranged almost like it was in a funeral home. She gave us each a hug, acknowledging her job was not easy, and we pushed the button to close the tailgate, giving us our last view of our Boopy-boy, asleep, finally out of pain, leaving us with memories of a great doggie life and finally the end of a long struggle to keep him as happy as we could.
