Dr. Delia was wonderful. I can’t thank her enough for the ease and compassion she gave me during the most difficult time, letting go of my beloved Dexter. She thoroughly explained the process to my family and I and made sure that if we had any questions that they were answered. She allowed my family and I to have the privacy we needed with Dexter in his final moments and assured us that he wouldn’t feel any pain. If anyone in the Kansas City area requires in-home pet euthanasia… I absolutely cannot recommend this doctor enough. Khaleesi immediately warmed up to her, which is understandable because her vibe is so calming. She was very gentle with us and with Khaleesi. She explained everything she was doing and what to expect. She also let us know that we were absolutely doing the right thing and as a pet parent that is struggling with that decision, it was very validating and helped to reduce any guilt that we had. She helped to make a very stressful painful day easier on everybody involved. My baby girl passed gently in my lap in her home with her mom, dad and little brother there.

This was our first experience with at-home services and I cannot recommend Dr. Magnotta enough. She is extremely empathetic, clearly cares about every one of her clients and their families, and made the entire experience as easy as it could have possibly been. Our girl never felt any pain and got to enjoy one last snuggle with us without any anxiety or fear being in a strange room at a vet office. Letting your furry family member go is one of the most difficult parts of life, but having the option to let ours go peacefully in our home while eating her favorite treats was a real blessing. Dr. Todd made saying goodbye to my Magpie as "easy" and comfortable as possible. She was so flexible with our requests and went out of her way to meet us our hiking spot so my girl could lay down for one last post walk nap under our favorite persimmon tree. In house euthanasia was the best option for us. Dr. John Murray was very empathetic and accommodating. It meant the world to us to be able to hug and care for our dog Luna while she was resting on her favorite sofa chair. Knowing that she was able to take her last breath while being caressed and petted by those who loved her the most, was incredibly comforting.

We needed an urgent euthanasia appointment after our dog battled a long fight with kidney disease and we wanted her to be in the comfort of our own home. Dr. Roberts was available the next day (we came home from the emergency vet late in the afternoon). Dr. Roberts arrived on time and was calm and soothing. She met Reese, explained the process to our family and let us know what to expect. She was gentle and cautious. She asked about Reese and our family while Reese was being sedated. After that, she only spoke to tell us what she was doing and when Reese was ultimately gone. She then left the house and waited in her car while we grieved and said our goodbyes in private. She was so caring of Reese, even after she had passed, making sure she was carefully laid on a stretcher, strapped in and covered. While this is a devastating experience that nobody wants to go through, having Dr. Roberts by your side is a godsend.
Dr. Duvall insured that our dog’s passing was peaceful and calm. She explained everything and was so kind and gentle. Could not have asked for a better experience for such a sad and stressful time. She checked in with us two or three times afterwards to make sure we were doing okay. Thank you Dr. Duvall!

We were heartbroken when it was time to say goodbye to our beloved husky, Sakari , but Dr. Victoria Torres made one of the hardest days of our lives feel gentle and supported. Dr. Tolbert is an angel here on earth. The most difficult decision I have had to make was letting my sweet boy, Boswell, cross the rainbow bridge to doggie heaven. Dr. Kelly was such a wonderful support and presence on one of the hardest days I've ever experienced- the loss of my cat Eliot following a terminal cancer diagnosis. From the start of the appointment, she was deeply compassionate and respectful and answered all questions I had patiently, helping me to feel assured that my baby would not suffer through this process. She handled Eliot with such care and helped me to be close to him during his final moments and also afterward. While our hearts and home are feeling the loss of our bestest boy, Dr. Keri was amazing. She was empathic and gave us all the time we needed to say our hardest good-bye. We are so glad we opted for an in-home passing and believe the added expense from not doing so at a vet office was worth it.

Dr. Kimberly helped my cat and myself in a time of need. Maddie was 19 and not doing well. Kimberly came to us at home on a moments notice. She was very gentle and kind. Dr Goldberg was prompt, professional, and helpful in walking us through what to expect during our cat’s in-home euthanasia. She texted few days in advance to see if we had any questions. Dr. Matthew Schaefer with CodaPet made our in home euthanasia for our sweet 16 year old cat as peaceful as possible. It is never an easy thing to do but having it done at home and in your pets favorite spot is so much better than having to take them on a car ride and to the vet. It truly is a blessing to be able to bring the vet to your pet if you can. Dr. Schaefer was very kind and I couldn’t have asked for a better vet.
Dr. Josh couldn’t be more loving and compassionate caring for my sweet Katie during her last hours here, not to mention his compassion he afforded me in my time of extreme grief. He made sure there wasn’t any pain, allowing my sweet girl leave this earth quietly and comfortably. Most importantly, she was able to see and feel me there with her. After her passing, Dr. Josh had me bring out my other GSD to see her and reminding me that he most likely will grieve as well, and explaining it’s important that they become aware that their companion was gone. I still, after two weeks am having moments missing her, and I find my other dog frequently goes to her favorite spot in the house and periodically lays down there. One of Katie’s habits I will miss the most is her waiting and greeting me at the door whenever I returned from an outing.
I could not have asked for a more patient, compassionate, wonderful person to see my beloved cat to his afterlife. Dr. Lori gets it; both my kitty and I felt we were in capable and loving hands. Nothing was hurried, brisk, or distant. It felt like a good friend (and cat lover) was helping us through the most difficult of days. I am so very glad we did this as we did; it's hard enough but Dr. Lori made it easier. She is the only vet I want with me when it's time for my other kitties to make their way to the other side.
If I could give 100 stars-I would! Dr Christina was compassionate, sensitive and supportive as our family went through this heartbreaking journey with our beloved Blu as she crossed over-the 🌈 bridge. She answered our questions and guided us through every step, did not rush our goodbyes, all while creating a dignified crossing for Blu 🐾💙🐾 Many thanks from all of us.
Really made this good bye easier for all of us. He was patient with out dog and gave us space when needed. Highly recommend for other with nervous/anxious pets. The aftercare waa also very nice.

Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Dr. Katie Todd arrived and explained in detail the process, gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes, and made the process as easy as possible. She was very reassuring to my children that we had made the right decision and explained all the options for taking care of the remains and provided us with keepsakes to ease the family’s pain. It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.
We are so grateful that Dr. Courtney White was available to us, last minute nonetheless. We were able to say goodbye to our precious boy Radar in his favorite spot in our backyard. Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.
Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Thank you again for being so wonderful to our sweet baby.
Dr. Lisa made herself available for a last-minute urgent call for us and she couldn’t have been more lovely and caring. This is obviously a challenging and sad time for anyone in the position to call. She treated it with reverence and kindness. Feel lucky to have had her.

When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. Dr Anna was on time, very loving, caring and made us all feel at ease with going forward. She even brought a treat for him, and my very usually picky dog ate it! The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.
We are deeply thankful to Dr. Shannon Nakaya for the care and compassion she showed during our beloved dog Giggsy’s final moments. Saying goodbye was an incredibly painful decision and a very difficult day for us, but her kindness, patience, and gentle approach helped ease the burden. Dr. Nakaya guided us through the process with understanding and treated Giggsy with such tenderness and respect. We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.
Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful. I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. Dr. Kim was an absolute angel! She made the passing of our sweet Belle (15 year old blue tick) so much easier. Her compassion and just overall presence during such a hard time was so comforting. I will be recommending the at home service to anyone I know who has an elderly dog.
We decided to use CodaPet when it was time for us to make that decision for our sweet 14 year old St Bernard, Fiona. It was the best thing we could have done. Dr Jason Doolittle made sure the experience was peaceful and went at a pace we were comfortable with. He explained in detail everything that would happen and was very gentle with Fiona. Thank you for providing a service that allows our fur family to go peacefully in their homes surrounded by comforting faces and love.
We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
In my life I have been blessed to have a few dogs. Saying goodbye is part of the price we pay. Dr. Gordon made this horrible time easier. I will be eternally grateful for the kindness and compassion she showed not only our precious Baby Girl but also us.
