Her early experiences of bringing home strays as a child and her natural gift for working with people and animals fueled her dream. Dr. Perzak graduated from the University of Georgia with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and later completed a one-year internship at Texas A&M University, further honing her skills and empathy for both pets and their owners. She firmly believes in the golden rule: treating others, whether they have two legs or four, with respect, dignity, and compassion. As a veterinarian, she considers herself akin to a pediatrician, responsible for assessing the needs of pets who can't always communicate their ailments. Dr P shares her home with a very energetic Springer Spaniel named Lochlan and a variety of cats, with a particular fondness for ginger and black cats. She also develops online classes for pet owners to improve their pets quality of life and promotes the use of natural solutions for pets and people using DoTerra essential oils. Dr P is an avid listener of audiobooks and podcasts about true crime, history, and certain sci-fi fantasy genres. She also enjoys crafting, walking, gardening, and learning to birdwatch. Growing up in Seneca, SC, Dr. Phillips knew from a young age that she wanted to become a veterinarian. Her love of biology and animals led her to earn a BS in Biology from Clemson University in 1997, followed by a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. With over 20 years of experience in emergency and urgent care medicine, Dr. Phillips has witnessed the profound need for stress-free, in-home euthanasia services. Throughout her career, Dr. Phillips has assisted many pets in their final moments, understanding the importance of providing a peaceful and comfortable setting for both the pets and their families. She is passionate about easing the emotional strain of end-of-life decisions by offering in-home euthanasia services, allowing pets to pass in the comfort of their familiar surroundings. Dr. Laura DuBose is a South Carolina native who grew up in Lexington with a lifelong love for animals. She earned her degree in Animal Science from Clemson University before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia in 1998. For much of her career, she dedicated herself to spay and neuter work, performing thousands of surgeries that improved the lives of pets and helped reduce the number of animals in need. That experience instilled in her a deep sense of compassion and service, which she now carries into her work in end-of-life care. Over the years, Dr. DuBose felt called to focus on helping families through one of the most tender parts of the human-animal bond: saying goodbye. She believes every pet deserves to pass peacefully in the comfort of home, surrounded by familiar faces and love. Her approach is guided by empathy, compassion, and respect, ensuring both pets and their families feel supported during this difficult time. Outside of her work, Dr. DuBose enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and camping with her loyal pittie mix, Hopper. She also cherishes time with her two children—her son, who is proudly carrying on the Tiger tradition at Clemson, and her daughter, who is finishing her senior year of high school. With Hopper by her side and her children’s chihuahua mixes at home, she is constantly reminded of the joy, comfort, and unconditional love that pets bring to our lives—love she feels honored to help families honor in their pets’ final moments.

Dr. Kelly Stern’s love for animals began on the large working ranches where she grew up, caring for livestock and accompanying the local veterinarian on farm calls from an early age. Her childhood was filled with raising and showing cattle, dogs, and horses, training service dogs, and even riding professionally—all of which shaped her lifelong commitment to animal care. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Chemistry from Northern Arizona University in 2002 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2006. With more than 20 years of veterinary experience across multiple roles and locations, Dr. Stern has witnessed the profound importance of compassionate end-of-life care. Her passion for science, medicine, and helping animals naturally evolved into a deep commitment to supporting families during one of life’s most emotional moments. She believes that allowing pets to pass peacefully at home—surrounded by familiar comforts and the people they love—is one of the greatest gifts we can offer them. Her own lifelong bond with animals, combined with years of guiding families through final goodbyes, has made in-home euthanasia a meaningful calling. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Stern enjoys traveling with her family, cheering on her children in tennis and volleyball, reading, exploring new places, listening to music, watching movies, and learning to crochet (even if she insists she isn’t very good yet). She shares her home with her husband, their two children, and Annie Oakley—their beloved middle-aged rescue Labrador.
