We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.
We are deeply thankful to Dr. Shannon Nakaya for the care and compassion she showed during our beloved dog Giggsy’s final moments. Saying goodbye was an incredibly painful decision and a very difficult day for us, but her kindness, patience, and gentle approach helped ease the burden. Dr. Nakaya guided us through the process with understanding and treated Giggsy with such tenderness and respect. Her compassion and professionalism truly made all the difference during this heartbreaking time.
Dr. Bates was incredibly empathetic and thoughtful and professional. She clearly explained every step, checked in with us to make sure we were ready for each step, and offered us extra space if we wanted it along the way. I would recommend Dr. Bates in a heartbeat.
While remaining professional to guide and inform me of the technical steps through the process, Dr. John Murray was at the same time compassionate and caring, and set the pace within my readiness and consideration of my sweet Panda. It is not a situation to define as good, but with Dr. Murray coming to Panda's home and facilitating what was necessary in such a caring manner, I could say goodbye without adding trauma or strangeness for Panda, and we both had our last moments together in pure love.
Dr. Amanda Harper was the epitome of professionalism. She was kind and took her time with us and our dog. Smokey was relaxed and felt very loved, at home, with his family. I would never choose to do it differently if we were ever to be in that situation again. This service made a terrible situation as easy as it could ever be. Dr Haros was absolutely wonderful to us and our dear Copper at this most difficult time. He was, kind and compassionate. He explained gently every step of the process. He allowed us all the time we needed to say our final goodbyes to Copper.
We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
In my life I have been blessed to have a few dogs. Saying goodbye is part of the price we pay. Dr. Gordon made this horrible time easier. I will be eternally grateful for the kindness and compassion she showed not only our precious Baby Girl but also us.
Dr. Mumm was so lovely. She made a truly awful situation so much easier. This was the first time I had to put a pet down and was very anxious about it because I did not know what to expect. She took the time to walk through the steps and ease my mind about what was about to happen. She let us take all the time we needed and genuinely treated my sweet boy as if he were hers. I cannot thank her enough!!!
She was extremely kind and helped us understand the process of how everything was going to happen. She interacted with Rusty before she did anything and he was very comfortable with her. I wanted this to be done in our home where Rusty wouldn’t be scared and he could be held during the whole process. As hard as this decision was I’m so glad of the way we did it because he was as in the home he loved surrounded by his family and he was wasn’t scared. Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Thank you again for being so wonderful to our sweet baby.
Doctor B. Showed up with her assistant morgan, and a very big heart. She wanted to hear what we had to say and feel what we were going through with gentle guidance and support along the whole way. It was sooo hard. But I wouldn’t wish it to go any other way. They also came back in person to deliver our beloved pups ashes, in a beautiful container and some keepsakes. So many beautiful little personal touches made it feel more special and eased the pain and challenge of the whole thing. I highly recommend her and her team.
I can't say enough fabulous things about Dr. Jessica Pruitt! It was a hard decision (as it always will be) when its time for our "buddies" to have to leave us:( but Dr. Jessica is so gentle and kind. She explains everything, is very patient and my Molly just warmed right up to her which made things even easier. Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful. She is an amazing human and is excellent at what she does. I am so grateful. Thank you so much Dr Delia.
Dr Shannon, was kind, gentle….understanding, compassionate, and so respectful of our dear Sandy, and to us …during Sandy’s passing from this world to heaven. She understood our religious beliefs for prayer. She did not rush the process and with sincere sensitivity ……. allowed us time to hold and kiss Sandy after he passed and went to heaven. Dr Shannon was excellent! The crematorium that cremated his beautiful body was horrible. Only about half of the ashes that we expected to returned to us were. We know that from his siblings that passed on the mainland and who ashes were returned to us. Be prepared for this. Blessings to all!

She helped me give my dog the peaceful, loving farewell she deserved, and for that, I am endlessly grateful.

There are endless things I could say about Dr. Megan Lowman, yet somehow none of them feel big enough to truly capture who she is. It may sound corny to say she has wings on her back—but sometimes the most heartfelt truths do sound that way. Because she does. From the moment she walks through the door, her empathy, kindness, and love fill every corner of the room. Dr. Megan has now guided us through saying goodbye to two beloved family members—first Paddington, and most recently, Teddy. When we learned what Teddy was facing, I knew instantly that she was the only person I wanted by our side. She doesn’t just provide a service; she feels like family. She understands your heartbreak without you needing to explain it, and she stays fully present, offering steady compassion and genuine love in every moment. I felt an immediate connection to her during Paddington’s passing—a deep sense of gratitude and trust from the very beginning. So, when it was Teddy’s time, there was no question that we needed that same tenderness and grace. And once again, the moment she arrived, the fear, anxiety, and overwhelming sadness softened. In their place, she brought calm, comfort, and peace. Dr. Megan, you are truly extraordinary. Your compassion fills a space in a way that words can hardly describe. I am profoundly grateful—for your kindness, your warmth, and the love you showed my sweet Teddy. The difference you made in our home during such a painful moment is something I will always carry with me. Being able to let Teddy fall asleep in my office—one of his favorite places—without the disruption of a car ride, without stress or confusion, and without making that heartbreaking drive home alone… it was more than I could have hoped for. Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Anna made a difficult situation so much easier. She was extremely kind and informative. She was wonderful with our dearly departed senior cat and with our other cats who were curious as well. I would absolutely love to have her help us again in the future.
The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.
Dr Parks was compassionate and caring with our dog Lola. Nobody wants to make this choice for their pet but when Dr Parks came to our door we were relieved to have her there. She was sensitive to Lola’s needs and our needs, as well. It was a beautifully, peaceful experience.
Best decision ever. While my heart is broken, this option of a kind, gentle passing in our home, with no anxiety for my sweet girl was a blessing for both of us. Dr. Gibson was so sweet and compassionate. It is obvious she was born to do exactly this. Her respect for my baby was so comforting. I won't ever go a different route again.
Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.

This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. Lane made a horrible no win situation more acceptable with his calm demeanor and soothing words. I can't thank Dr Martin enough for helping little Barney come to peaceful end to his life's journey.
She was very supportive during this hard time and very kind and patient. We appreciate all she did to help us with our memorial pieces for our girl and during her passing.
On our most heartbreaking day, Dr. Lane Martin was the most professional and the most empathetic vet and human. His compassion and care made it so we could focus on saying goodbye to our goodest girl. Our tessa bonita was 15 years old and with us for 14 of those. It was not a choice we wanted to make but Dr. Martin helped us understand we were doing right by our girl. So what could have been grief with guilt about making the wrong choice is regular grief with relief that it was ok to say goodbye. We are so grateful for the humanity demonstrated by Dr. Martin and that this service exists.

We decided to use CodaPet when it was time for us to make that decision for our sweet 14 year old St Bernard, Fiona. It was the best thing we could have done. Wanda was 14 years old. She was such a big part of our family, we couldn’t imagine saying goodbye to her at the vet’s office. Everyone was here with her, including Kiko our 6 year old rescue. Dr. Bagnoni was incredibly responsive and able to accommodate a same-day, in-home euthanasia for our 15-year-old dog, Zeus. She took the time to speak with us beforehand by phone, clearly explaining the process and what to expect. When she arrived, she performed a gentle initial exam, and together we recognized that it was truly Zeus’s time. She walked us through each step in person and thoughtfully answered our 5-year-old son’s questions in a way he could understand. Throughout the entire visit, she was calm, patient, and deeply respectful. Nothing felt rushed. The process was peaceful and free of stress for Zeus, which meant everything to us. We chose cremation, and the turnaround was quick. Dr. Bagnoni provided a beautiful urn, a clay paw print, fur clippings, and ink impressions of Zeus’s paw and nose; keepsakes we will treasure. Her professionalism, compassion, and gentle presence gave us comfort during one of the hardest moments our family has faced. We are grateful that Zeus’s final moments were handled with such dignity and care. I highly recommend Dr. Bagnoni. She is a truly compassionate professional.
I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. Dr. Cara Mitchell helped my family get through one of the most difficult and emotionally challenging moments in our life. Mosely had been there since the beginning of my relationship with my wife. For 15 years he was our first ‘child,’ our constant companion, and a huge part of our family. When the time came to say goodbye, we knew we wanted it done peacefully at home, and Dr. Mitchell made that possible in the most gentle, respectful way imaginable. From the initial call to schedule, she was kind, patient, and understanding of how hard this was for us. She arrived on time, explained every step clearly so we knew exactly what to expect, and gave us all the space we needed to love on Mosely and say our goodbyes without any rush. Her demeanor was calm and reassuring, which helped ease the anxiety for both us and our dog. Mosely passed quietly and comfortably, surrounded by our love for him. No one could have handled this better. Dr. Mitchell’s compassion, professionalism, and expertise turned an unbearable situation into something as dignified and loving as possible. If you’re facing this heartbreaking decision, I can’t recommend her highly enough. She truly made a world of difference for our family. Dr. Katie was amazing! She handled everything so professionally yet personally too. Ruger will be so missed by many (as she can attest to, she said it was the biggest crowd she'd had, there were 9 of us) and I will never take my pets to a cold impersonal clinic to pass if I can help it. Having your pet pass at home where they're comfortable and familiar was such a blessing!
Dr. Wasomen went above and beyond to make sure our beloved Evey was comfortable and that we and her bonded partner had time to say his good byes to her.

It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.
Dr. Karen Whala came to our home to peacefully euthanize my beloved cat, whose health had sadly declined. She was incredibly compassionate and professional throughout the entire process. I’m deeply grateful for the care and gentleness she showed to Winston “Church” Churchill IV in his final moments. Thank you so much, Dr. Whala, for helping him pass with dignity and love.
