This was the first time we ever tried an in home service and we were so anxious. We wanted our girl to feel safe and comfortable in her home, surrounded by her family. We did not know what to expect, and Dr. Sarah Clem exceeded any expectations we could have had. Dr Sarah was kind and took time to get to know us and listened while we shared stories about our girl, Emma. She was patient with us and gave us time to say goodbye at our own speed. She never rushed us. She explained the process and welcomed any questions we had. She provided comfort to us and she gave that same comfort and care to Emma. We will always be appreciative of Dr. Sarah and the love and care she gave our sweet girl.
While Dr. Fama only met Bootsy the one time, our at home pet euthanasia experience was comfortable because of her. She really took the time to say hello to Bootsy and try to get a sense of him as a cat in life before proceeding to the business of his death. Having her come to our home was peaceful and comforting, despite the circumstances. He was ready to go, and it was a great comfort that we could all be there for him.
Dr. Bean and Brooke were so compassionate, caring and understanding during what was such an awfully hard experience for myself and my husband. Though it was hard for us, they really did give our baby the best and most peaceful goodbye that we could have asked for. Dr. Cara Gordon came to my home and almost immediately got down on the floor with my cherished dog Chloe. She put Chloe at ease which in turn put me at ease. She checked her and came to the same conclusion that I had. Dr. Gordon was so kind to me and answered all my questions. She was so very sweet to my girl and I’ll always be grateful for that. I appreciate the care she took with Chloe and also with me. She even took my other dog into consideration, suggesting I let her see Chloe so she wouldn’t be looking for her and I think that was absolutely the right thing to do. I am so thankful that my baby was able to be comfortable at home for her last moments here with me. I appreciate Dr. Gordon so much.
Dr. Whala was so wonderful. She really cared about us and our kitty, Atticus. She took her time and walked us through the process. There were lots of tears but I was special because we were at home and comfortable surroundings for our friend. Thanks again !
It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.

Dr. Andrea Dover was an angel during one of our hardest times. She was genuinely so compassionate, empathetic and sensitive to all our needs and I can’t thank her enough for the amazing and difficult job she did. She was so good at explaining the process and taking the time to make sure we were ready for each step along the way. Our sweet lab Cooper was in the best hands with Dr. Dover as he slipped into a calm sleep and then across the rainbow bridge with us holding him the entire time. If you are in the unfortunate circumstance that you require end of life care for your beloved fur baby, I cannot recommend CodaPet and Dr. Dover enough! Dr. Katie was amazing! She handled everything so professionally yet personally too. Ruger will be so missed by many (as she can attest to, she said it was the biggest crowd she'd had, there were 9 of us) and I will never take my pets to a cold impersonal clinic to pass if I can help it. I can't say enough fabulous things about Dr. Jessica Pruitt! It was a hard decision (as it always will be) when its time for our "buddies" to have to leave us:( but Dr. Jessica is so gentle and kind. I can only say our Beagle was our fur baby like no other. Dr Meadows was so kind when coming to our home and helping us say goodbye to Georgee and cross the rainbow bridge.
Dr Nicole Ramos communicated with me multiple times before arriving and she was very professional and gentle towards our family when she arrived. Our Marley had a litter mate, Cheyenne that we were also concerned about and she answered all our questions. It was so peaceful and calm being at home. She made the experience above and beyond. I have put down at least 4 dogs but never in this environment, all of us agreed how positive the experience was during a painful time.
Dr. Lisa made herself available for a last-minute urgent call for us and she couldn’t have been more lovely and caring. This is obviously a challenging and sad time for anyone in the position to call. She treated it with reverence and kindness. Feel lucky to have had her.
Dr. Katie Todd was so kind and informative. She explained the process and answered all of our questions. Our sweet girl is at peace and out of pain and I couldn't have asked for a better experience for her.
We cannot say enough about the compassion and care we received from Dr. Phillips during one of the most difficult moments of our lives. From the time she entered our home, she was truly heaven-sent. She thoroughly explained every step of the process, which brought us so much comfort and peace. She was incredibly gentle with our sweet boy, Skipper, who was always so anxious, and treated him with the utmost care and respect. She gave my husband and me all the time we needed to say our goodbyes in the comfort of our home, never rushing us for a moment. From beginning to end, her presence was calm, kind, and truly angelic. We will never be able to fully express how grateful we are for such an intimate and peaceful experience. It meant everything to us.
The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.
Dr. Pilago showed so much care and compassion when we had to make the painful decision to put our handsome pup Rodney to sleep. I highly recommend her.
Cassandra was extremely empathetic and so thoughtful with us as Hannah's family as well as making Hannah as comfortable as possible. Having to say Goodbye to your furbaby especially when you have to decide it's time for them its never easy feat. We had been through this in the last year or two with 2 others. We first learned of In-home Euthanasia for pets from a neighbor who had her Dog put down & went on & on how great it was, it was loving & it was incredibly compassionate & gentle throughout the entire in-home euthanasia process. Our neighbor said she would never visit an office & only have it done in the convenience of her home where the fur baby knows & feels loved. Dr Marisel San Miguel with Codapet was our point of contact ( Codapet works with License Veternarians across the country for this service). We had scheduled a time but we knew time was of the essence & switched the appointment to earlier. Dr Marisel showed up 5 minutes early explained the process which wevbeen through before. Dr Marisel gave us time to love, grieve & cry with our Koby & didn't feel rushed in the comfort of our home that our koby knows. Dr. Marisel made a heartbreaking moment feel peaceful & full of love, treating our Koby with such dignity & kindness. Her calm presence, patience, & genuine care meant more to our family than we can express. Choosing in-home euthanasia for our dog Koby was one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever made, but it also gave us the chance to say goodbye in a peaceful, familiar place surrounded by love which we have done before. Being able to hold him, talk to him, & let him go without fear or stress brought comfort during an incredibly painful moment. This process was as easy as it could have been, all things considered. Dr. Lauren was so kind and sympathetic to our situation, and explained everything clearly so we knew what was happening next. I can't imagine having to do this with families every day, but what you all do is truly a blessing. Oliver was our first pet we had to say goodbye to, but being able to do so at home was a great relief for all of us. Saying goodbye to our pup Hugo after 15 years was one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do, but Dr. Crawford made all the difference. We didn’t know what to expect, but he guided us through the entire process with such kindness, patience, and compassion that he made us all feel at ease during an incredibly emotional time. We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
Dr. Duvall did a fantastic job easing our dog out of this world, and in tending to our human needs and concerns as well. She really went the extra mile and was full of compassion for all of us. I can't imagine how the inherently difficult situation could have been made any easier.
I was so happy that Dr. Sarah was with us during our dog's final minutes. She was very compassionate and caring. She explained to us what would happen and gave us plenty of time to say our final goodbyes. Everything she said and did helped us to feel comfortable with the process. Dr. Sara Gardhaouse has an amazing aura about her. In such an Emotinal time she radiates warmth and kindness to help ease the situations hardness. I would gladly refer this company to help with the passing of any fur baby in their own home.

Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Thank you again for being so wonderful to our sweet baby.
Making the decision to euthanize our beloved cat Minnie was a difficult but it was made bearable due to Dr. Laura. She walked us through the process with patience and kindness which allayed our fears. My husband and I knew that Minnie was in good hands with Dr. Laura and we are truly grateful. We have already recommended Coda pet and Dr. Laura.
Dr Lane was truly amazing. He helped us though one of the toughest things imaginable. I would highly recommend him and this whole process over going in to a clinic or worse yet, letting your loved pet suffer. From beginning to end it was peaceful and gentle. Dr. Lisa was so wonderful. She was patient with both of my cats. It was so nice to be able to stay at home and not jam my cat into a carrier and haul her into a vet’s office. It also allowed my other cat to see what was going on. I would recommend Dr. Lisa to anyone who has to face the end of a pet’s life.

Best decision ever. While my heart is broken, this option of a kind, gentle passing in our home, with no anxiety for my sweet girl was a blessing for both of us. Dr. Gibson was so sweet and compassionate. It is obvious she was born to do exactly this. Her respect for my baby was so comforting. I won't ever go a different route again.

We unfortunately had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our 17-year-old dog, Rosy. When Dr. Sarah Warren arrived, she immediately embraced my parents with a hug as if she were an old friend. From the moment she came to Rosy and me, she gave off such a calm, loving, and comforting presence that even in one of the most painful moments of our lives, she brought us peace. She explained the entire process with such respect, compassion, and clarity. She climbed onto the bed with Rosy and me, gently gave her sedation, pet her, talked to her, and comforted not only us, but Rosy too. She gave us all the time in the world to say goodbye and allowed me to make every decision about the next steps when I was ready. She made an unbearable moment just a little bit easier, and for that, I will never be able to thank her enough. Without me even needing to say the words, she understood when I was ready to say goodbye to my baby forever and comforted me through the hardest moment of my life. I am so thankful that she was the one there during Rosy’s final moments. She will forever have a special place in all our hearts for the work she does and the kindness she showed Rosy and us. She allowed us to carry my baby into the box and out to the car ourselves. The next morning, I decided I wanted to do a witness cremation. I immediately texted Dr. Sarah and received a reply within minutes. She personally helped place a hold on Rosy and even called and emailed the crematorium herself to ensure everything would be arranged. I was drowning in grief, yet she took that burden into her own hands and helped make it possible for me to see Rosy one last time before cremation. Because of Dr. Sarah, I was able to create more keepsakes and have a witness cremation a few days later. I truly cannot find the words to express how much that meant to me. Thank you, Dr. Sarah, from the bottom of my heart for treating Rosy and us with so much love and kindness. 🤍

It’s been about two weeks now since we helped my guy Benny over the Rainbow Bridge. At 15 years and numerous health / mobility challenges, it was his time. When it was “their time”, we always took our furry children to the vet’s office for the “final visit”. Each office did their best to make it as easy as possible for all concerned, but it still felt a little “cold”, clinical and a little frighting. I was fortunate to have found CodaPet.com at the urging of our own vet’s office. We made the decision to help Benny at around 3:30pm on a Saturday. We received immediate response after scheduling online and Dr. Cassandra Lewis arrived at our house promptly at 7pm. After assessing Benny, she provided him with carefully administered sedatives to ease his suffering while surrounded by his family in the comfort of his favorite room on his favorite bedding. For the next 40 minutes or so, Dr. Lewis listen to us tell Benny’s life story. She was truly sent by the Angels. Allowing us to unburden ourselves to her compassionate ear allowed our healing to begin. She explained each step in the procedure and allowed for our questions as well as our periodic expressions of tearful grief. When we said our final “goodbyes”, she lovingly took Benny’s suffering away as we assured him the he was indeed “a good boy”. We chose the option for water cremation and carefully prepared him for transport in her vehicle. The entire process was professional, compassionate and even a little spiritual. We are forever grateful to Dr. Lewis (and CodaPet) helping us through this difficult time and giving Benny comfort and peace as he traveled the Bridge.
Dr. Yang is wildly empathetic and kind. I could not have asked for a better person to help my dog cross the rainbow bridge. She was professional and allowed me to mourn in the moment and explained everything she was doing before she did it to ease my mind. This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. And Dr. Lisa Feig more than meets that requirement. A million thanks to her and Coda Pet.
Dr. Colleen Meuse was so compassionate, she helped my best friend of 13 years, our children’s protector, pass in peace surrounded by his family. I cannot recommend her enough. This decision is impossibly hard to make, but it’s what we owe to the ones who love us the most. Koyo was able to have one last good day before we said goodbye, it was a blessing to have Dr. Colleen help us end his pain.
Dr. Gordon performed the euthanasia for my sweet soul dog of 16 years. It was the most peaceful experience I could’ve asked for. She knew exactly what to say and created such a calm environment to spend our final moments together. I’m very grateful for her service.
As difficult as losing a beloved pet is, I am so grateful to Dr Anna Stewart for her professionalism, compassion, and the kindness she showed to our family during her visit. Having had several fur family members pass over the rainbow bridge, this experience was by far the most peaceful transition we have experienced. My Hudson was happy, calm , and comfortable and was able to relax in his own bed and drift off to sleep. Dr Anna was so patient and kind to our family during this emotional procedure. I highly recommend her services if you have a pet on hospice.

Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. The kindness, humanity, and understanding shown to our family is something so many businesses have lost over time. We decided to use CodaPet when it was time for us to make that decision for our sweet 14 year old St Bernard, Fiona. It was the best thing we could have done. Dr Jason Doolittle made sure the experience was peaceful and went at a pace we were comfortable with. He explained in detail everything that would happen and was very gentle with Fiona. Dr. Amanda Harper was the epitome of professionalism. She was kind and took her time with us and our dog. Smokey was relaxed and felt very loved, at home, with his family. I would never choose to do it differently if we were ever to be in that situation again. This service made a terrible situation as easy as it could ever be. Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful. When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. Lane made a horrible no win situation more acceptable with his calm demeanor and soothing words. I can't thank Dr Martin enough for helping little Barney come to peaceful end to his life's journey.
We needed to put down our sixteen year old lab . I called her office to see wha were my choices for having her come to my home which she did. Bo our dog was very special to me he had been with me through a tough time in my life He was always with no matter what. Dr. Vernon came to my home she was so compassionate and caring. She walked us through what she was going to do and during each step she gave us time with Removing a 110 pound lab is not easy but she allowed me to wrap Bo in his blanket and then her and my husband took him out on a stretcher He looked so peaceful I miss him but I was fortunate to have Dr Vernon to be the one to help him cross over

Dr. Kim was an absolute angel! She made the passing of our sweet Belle (15 year old blue tick) so much easier. Her compassion and just overall presence during such a hard time was so comforting. I will be recommending the at home service to anyone I know who has an elderly dog.
She gave careful attention to who we were and what would matter to us. She could not possibly have done a better job in any way whatsoever. Our dog Sarah was taken great care of from start to finish. I will tell anybody I talk to about my loss how great she was to all of us. Me, my husband and my other dog Nikki were all close to Sarah to help comfort her. And Sarah was taken care of right where she was in her comfort zone with her favorite view.
It has been over two weeks and I am still processing the loss of my best friend but one thing is for sure, Dr. Laurie Anne Walden was fantastic. Her kindness and compassion while explaining each step of the process are something I will never forget. I hope no one has to go through this but if the time comes, I highly recommend Dr. Walden.
We are deeply thankful to Dr. Shannon Nakaya for the care and compassion she showed during our beloved dog Giggsy’s final moments. Saying goodbye was an incredibly painful decision and a very difficult day for us, but her kindness, patience, and gentle approach helped ease the burden. Dr. Nakaya guided us through the process with understanding and treated Giggsy with such tenderness and respect. Her compassion and professionalism truly made all the difference during this heartbreaking time.
Dr. Oudin recently came to our home to help us say goodbye to our sweet 16 year old kitty. She was very kind and compassionate and helped to make the situation bearable. We are very grateful.
We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.
Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Dr. Katie Todd arrived and explained in detail the process, gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes, and made the process as easy as possible. She was very reassuring to my children that we had made the right decision and explained all the options for taking care of the remains and provided us with keepsakes to ease the family’s pain. Thank you so much Dr.Todd in doing what has to be one of the world’s toughest jobs!
