As difficult as losing a beloved pet is, I am so grateful to Dr Anna Stewart for her professionalism, compassion, and the kindness she showed to our family during her visit. Having had several fur family members pass over the rainbow bridge, this experience was by far the most peaceful transition we have experienced. My Hudson was happy, calm , and comfortable and was able to relax in his own bed and drift off to sleep. Dr Anna was so patient and kind to our family during this emotional procedure. I highly recommend her services if you have a pet on hospice.

We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.
While Dr. Fama only met Bootsy the one time, our at home pet euthanasia experience was comfortable because of her. She really took the time to say hello to Bootsy and try to get a sense of him as a cat in life before proceeding to the business of his death. Having her come to our home was peaceful and comforting, despite the circumstances. He was ready to go, and it was a great comfort that we could all be there for him.
I can only say our Beagle was our fur baby like no other. Dr Meadows was so kind when coming to our home and helping us say goodbye to Georgee and cross the rainbow bridge.

We unfortunately had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our 17-year-old dog, Rosy. When Dr. Sarah Warren arrived, she immediately embraced my parents with a hug as if she were an old friend. From the moment she came to Rosy and me, she gave off such a calm, loving, and comforting presence that even in one of the most painful moments of our lives, she brought us peace. She explained the entire process with such respect, compassion, and clarity. She climbed onto the bed with Rosy and me, gently gave her sedation, pet her, talked to her, and comforted not only us, but Rosy too. Rosy was my baby, and seeing how much genuine love and care Dr. Sarah had for her was incredibly heartwarming. You can truly see and feel how deeply she loves animals. She gave us all the time in the world to say goodbye and allowed me to make every decision about the next steps when I was ready. She made an unbearable moment just a little bit easier, and for that, I will never be able to thank her enough. Without me even needing to say the words, she understood when I was ready to say goodbye to my baby forever and comforted me through the hardest moment of my life. I am so thankful that she was the one there during Rosy’s final moments. She will forever have a special place in all our hearts for the work she does and the kindness she showed Rosy and us. She allowed us to carry my baby into the box and out to the car ourselves. The next morning, I decided I wanted to do a witness cremation. I immediately texted Dr. Sarah and received a reply within minutes. She personally helped place a hold on Rosy and even called and emailed the crematorium herself to ensure everything would be arranged. I was drowning in grief, yet she took that burden into her own hands and helped make it possible for me to see Rosy one last time before cremation. Because of Dr. Sarah, I was able to create more keepsakes and have a witness cremation a few days later. I truly cannot find the words to express how much that meant to me. Thank you, Dr. Sarah, from the bottom of my heart for treating Rosy and us with so much love and kindness. 🤍
Dr. Murray was very compassionate and kind and walked us through everything he was doing. He allowed us a little more time to say goodbye to our furbaby before he started anything as well as making sure Jazzy was comfortable. Thank you for your great bedside manner.
Dr. Jen was so kind. It was so hard for us to have to say goodbye to our sweet little Russell but she was very caring and patient. We chose cremation and we got him back in about a week. The options of urns was nice and we received a very sweet card from Dr. Jen. I would definitely recommend Dr. Jen with CodaPet to care of you.
Dr. Colleen Meuse was so compassionate, she helped my best friend of 13 years, our children’s protector, pass in peace surrounded by his family. I cannot recommend her enough. This decision is impossibly hard to make, but it’s what we owe to the ones who love us the most. Koyo was able to have one last good day before we said goodbye, it was a blessing to have Dr. Colleen help us end his pain.
Dr. Duvall did a fantastic job easing our dog out of this world, and in tending to our human needs and concerns as well. She really went the extra mile and was full of compassion for all of us. I can't imagine how the inherently difficult situation could have been made any easier.
Dr. Simpson was a literal angel on earth as she helped our elderly dog, Penny, transition. She was the most sweet, kind, and patient vet I had ever met. She was with us almost 90 minutes and gave us all the time we needed to walk through such an emotionally difficult process. She listened to our stories about Penny and was so incredibly compassionate and supportive. She even mailed us a card recounting in detail her enjoyment of the stories we shared of Penny’s adventures with us. We are forever grateful to Dr. Simpson and would wholeheartedly recommend her for anyone who is facing the difficult decision of saying goodbye to their fur baby.
We had to say goodbye to our dog of 12 years, Mila, suddenly. Dr Alexander who came to our home was compassionate, patient, and gentle during an incredibly painful moment. She explained everything clearly, gave us time, and treated Mila with dignity and care. As a family with two young children, that level of kindness mattered deeply to us. We are grateful for the support we received during such a difficult goodbye.

Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Dr. Oudin recently came to our home to help us say goodbye to our sweet 16 year old kitty. She was very kind and compassionate and helped to make the situation bearable. We are very grateful.

Dr. Lisa was so wonderful. She was patient with both of my cats. It was so nice to be able to stay at home and not jam my cat into a carrier and haul her into a vet’s office. It also allowed my other cat to see what was going on. I would recommend Dr. Lisa to anyone who has to face the end of a pet’s life.
I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. And Dr. Lisa Feig more than meets that requirement. A million thanks to her and Coda Pet.
Dr. Amanda Harper was the epitome of professionalism. She was kind and took her time with us and our dog. Smokey was relaxed and felt very loved, at home, with his family. I would never choose to do it differently if we were ever to be in that situation again. This service made a terrible situation as easy as it could ever be. Highly recommend to all my pet-loving friends.

Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.
Best decision ever. While my heart is broken, this option of a kind, gentle passing in our home, with no anxiety for my sweet girl was a blessing for both of us. Dr. Gibson was so sweet and compassionate. It is obvious she was born to do exactly this. Her respect for my baby was so comforting. I won't ever go a different route again.

It has been over two weeks and I am still processing the loss of my best friend but one thing is for sure, Dr. Laurie Anne Walden was fantastic. Dr. Gordon performed the euthanasia for my sweet soul dog of 16 years. It was the most peaceful experience I could’ve asked for. She knew exactly what to say and created such a calm environment to spend our final moments together. I’m very grateful for her service.

Having to say Goodbye to your furbaby especially when you have to decide it's time for them its never easy feat. We had been through this in the last year or two with 2 others. We first learned of In-home Euthanasia for pets from a neighbor who had her Dog put down & went on & on how great it was, it was loving & it was incredibly compassionate & gentle throughout the entire in-home euthanasia process. Our neighbor said she would never visit an office & only have it done in the convenience of her home where the fur baby knows & feels loved. Dr Marisel San Miguel with Codapet was our point of contact ( Codapet works with License Veternarians across the country for this service). We had scheduled a time but we knew time was of the essence & switched the appointment to earlier. Dr Marisel showed up 5 minutes early explained the process which wevbeen through before. Dr Marisel gave us time to love, grieve & cry with our Koby & didn't feel rushed in the comfort of our home that our koby knows. Dr. Marisel made a heartbreaking moment feel peaceful & full of love, treating our Koby with such dignity & kindness. Her calm presence, patience, & genuine care meant more to our family than we can express. Choosing in-home euthanasia for our dog Koby was one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever made, but it also gave us the chance to say goodbye in a peaceful, familiar place surrounded by love which we have done before. Being able to hold him, talk to him, & let him go without fear or stress brought comfort during an incredibly painful moment. Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Thank you again for being so wonderful to our sweet baby.
Dr. DiGenova was very kind and respectful and gentle with our boy. My parents were really reluctant in having him put to sleep but after seeing how careful Dr. DiGenova was and how peaceful he was at the end they truly believed they made the right decision. I can’t thank her enough. After when he was ready to come home from the cremation Dr. DiGenova brought him back home to us. Thank You!
I can't say enough fabulous things about Dr. Jessica Pruitt! It was a hard decision (as it always will be) when its time for our "buddies" to have to leave us:( but Dr. Jessica is so gentle and kind. She explains everything, is very patient and my Molly just warmed right up to her which made things even easier. Dr. Michelle Vosburg brought compassion and peace to our family during this difficult time. It was a very hard decision to make to end the suffering of Slayer, our senior dog with cancer, but we knew we had to and wanted our old boy to be as comfortable as possible. Slayer always hated the vet office, and we didn't want his last moments to be filled with anxiety and fear, so we chose for him to pass in the comfort and familiarity of home. We are glad and relieved that we had this option. Dr. Michelle guided us through the process, let us take all the time we needed at our own pace, and helped us create some personal mementos as well. We thank her for that and highly recommend her to those who want the same peace and dignity for their ailing pets. RIP Slayer.
During this very difficult time and decision, I am so grateful to have found Dr. Magnotta. Her communication with me about the process as well as talking about my daughter and her concerns from the moment I scheduled was amazing. When she arrived through the time she left, her calming presence and explanation of literally everything that was occurring allowed for both my daughter and I to be present while our Sophia passed in the most peaceful way. I have been sharing with others this experience and would highly recommend Dr Magnotta.
Words cannot describe how truly amazing Dr. Lara Allison is and how lucky we feel that she was the vet who helped us during an extremely difficult time. The amount of love, kindess, and patience she showed us during the at home euthanasia of our beloved cat is something we will never forget. Dr. Allison took the time to let us share photos and stories with her before starting, and put our minds at ease by explaining the process step by step. After the euthanasia was completed she gave us ample time to say our goodbyes in private. She communicated every step of the way regarding the cremation and hand delivered our sweet boys ashes back to us 2 weeks later. She turned what we thought would be an extremely stressful experience into something so peaceful and full of love. I could not imagine and more beautiful send off or one more fitting for a cat we cherished and loved for 22 beautiful years. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone going through this difficult process. I'm thankful humans like her exist and that she has dedicated her life to helping pet parents in need.
We decided to use CodaPet when it was time for us to make that decision for our sweet 14 year old St Bernard, Fiona. It was the best thing we could have done. We needed to put down our sixteen year old lab . I called her office to see wha were my choices for having her come to my home which she did. Bo our dog was very special to me he had been with me through a tough time in my life He was always with no matter what. Dr. Vernon came to my home she was so compassionate and caring. She walked us through what she was going to do and during each step she gave us time with Removing a 110 pound lab is not easy but she allowed me to wrap Bo in his blanket and then her and my husband took him out on a stretcher He looked so peaceful I miss him but I was fortunate to have Dr Vernon to be the one to help him cross over
Dr. Phillips was an amazing soul to have help us with our 14 year old love, Raleigh. I did it know such a service existed until we needed it. And with Raleigh’s quick decline, we were able to arrange his passing within 24 hours. Dr. Phillips took care of every detail and it was such a relief. I was so happy that Dr. Sarah was with us during our dog's final minutes. She was very compassionate and caring. If we could rate Dr.Bailey 10 stars we would. Our elderly greyhound became ill on Saturday and we knew it was her time. We reached out to Dr. Bailey around 5 pm for availability and she was able to schedule for 9 am the following day. At 9 am exactly she showed up and entered our home with her supplies and plenty of dog treats. Breezy never had to leave her chair through the entire procedure. She had a comfortable and dignified final moments and went to sleep in he happy place. We have had many dogs over the years and this is the first time we've used at home services. This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. Dr Anna was on time, very loving, caring and made us all feel at ease with going forward. She even brought a treat for him, and my very usually picky dog ate it! Dr. Delia is truly one of the most amazing people I have ever met. She gave us peace of mind by answering all of our questions and throughly explaining what our baby girl was experiencing. We are so happy that our Mira was surrounded by love and comfort in her final moments.

Dr Nicole Ramos communicated with me multiple times before arriving and she was very professional and gentle towards our family when she arrived. Our Marley had a litter mate, Cheyenne that we were also concerned about and she answered all our questions. It was so peaceful and calm being at home. She made the experience above and beyond. I have put down at least 4 dogs but never in this environment, all of us agreed how positive the experience was during a painful time.
Dr. Cara Gordon came to my home and almost immediately got down on the floor with my cherished dog Chloe. She put Chloe at ease which in turn put me at ease. She checked her and came to the same conclusion that I had. Dr. Gordon was so kind to me and answered all my questions. She was so very sweet to my girl and I’ll always be grateful for that. I appreciate the care she took with Chloe and also with me. She even took my other dog into consideration, suggesting I let her see Chloe so she wouldn’t be looking for her and I think that was absolutely the right thing to do. I am so thankful that my baby was able to be comfortable at home for her last moments here with me. I appreciate Dr. Gordon so much.
We are deeply thankful to Dr. Shannon Nakaya for the care and compassion she showed during our beloved dog Giggsy’s final moments. Saying goodbye was an incredibly painful decision and a very difficult day for us, but her kindness, patience, and gentle approach helped ease the burden. We are so grateful that Dr. Courtney White was available to us, last minute nonetheless. We were able to say goodbye to our precious boy Radar in his favorite spot in our backyard. Dr. White was so kind and compassionate, explaining the process as it progressed, allowing us to make the decisions we could. She truly understood the bond we had with our boy. We will cherish the memory of him forever ❤️

She was very sweet with our children and allowed them time to say goodbye, and then gave each of them a clipping of fur in a little bag. She was patient and gave us space. We were really grateful to have her in our home walking us through the process.
Cassandra was extremely empathetic and so thoughtful with us as Hannah's family as well as making Hannah as comfortable as possible. We can't thank her enough and I highly encourage anyone going through your fur baby needing to cross the rainbow bridge this was the most humane thing we could have done. Wonderful person and vet.
When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. Lane made a horrible no win situation more acceptable with his calm demeanor and soothing words. I can't thank Dr Martin enough for helping little Barney come to peaceful end to his life's journey.
Dr. Thomason was so supportive and helpful during such an incredibly hard time. I can't say enough about what an amazing vet she is. RIP Lovely Lolita
No one wants bad news about their dog. When we learned of Yoshi’s terminal cancer diagnosis very late on, I had to make the impossible choice. To send not only my friend- but my psychiatric service animal to the rainbow bridge. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. John. I never had to make this type of decision before in my life and making it within weeks of thinking your doggo is just fine to this, well I don’t wish that on anyone. This man was the kindest, gentle soul I have ever encountered. I had a lot of guilt about doing this especially on a “good day” for my Yoshi, but today I woke up and knew I made the right decision for him. After Yoshi passed, Dr. John packed up Yoshi when leaving to where he looked like he was just going for one last car ride and I can’t explain how much that meant to us. He communicated amazing with us from when I made the appointment throughout the whole process and in his words, “reunited us with Yoshi” as soon as he was ready. Thank you so much for taking care of us and not rushing anything and for the beautiful way you returned his remains to us. You will always hold a place in this families heart for who you are and how you helped. Mahalo nui ❤️🌈
Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful. She is an amazing human and is excellent at what she does. I am so grateful. Thank you so much Dr Delia.
Dr. Lisa made herself available for a last-minute urgent call for us and she couldn’t have been more lovely and caring. This is obviously a challenging and sad time for anyone in the position to call. She treated it with reverence and kindness. Feel lucky to have had her.
I was struggling to find a vet to come out on a weekend to put down my Pearl who was struggling. I even posted in a local rescue group asking for advice. I then ran across CodaPet, it said Dr Ayala was available. I checked back on my post and within those few minutes Dr Ayala was recommended by many. When Dr Ayala showed up I was sitting out front with my Pearl, we went to the backyard. She was very gentle explaining things to me, and very patient as I held my beautiful girl as she left. Thank you for how amazing you were. Really appreciate it. And so sorry for my screaming as my husband walked you back out.... Holding her...I lost it...
We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.
It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.
Dr Vernon was great! We knew it was time to say goodbye, but she took time to discuss the situation and confirmed we were correct, in our assessment of our girl. She allowed us time and didn't rush the process. She also explained everything we needed to know, along the way. Thank you, for making that really hard day a little easier.
