It's hard to talk about but this was a peaceful experience for her and us. Shelby seems to understand in a way that my other pets who weren't present did not. Heidi was devastated when we came home without her sister, Daphne. Here's the thing, at least in our experience, you can't really plan this so it was so helpful that Dr Murray had it planned out in a way that made everything go smoothly. He is incredibly kind and intuitive, he appreciates the bond that we had with her in a way that a clinic would not necessarily feel. We are incredibly grateful that he was able to come and help her and that she didn't have to wait and suffer or go through more trauma by having to get her into the car. I don’t usually write reviews for anything. I just want to take a moment to talk about how fantastic Dr. DeWitt made the entire process. She operated with grace and such deep deep caring for both my pet and my family. She took the time to really get to know us. It is extremely evident how much love she has for animals. My wife and I were very happy with the service provided by Dr. Marisel San Miguel. We had a thirteen year old lab that had been very healthy and active for his age. Over the time span of just a week or maybe ten days he began to loose control of his rear legs and back end. A trip to Auburn indicated that it was not an orthopedic problem but they could not tell us what was causing the issue. Along with becoming immobile without help to get up it appeared he was also beginning to have some pain and discomfort and he was declining rapidly. Rather than watch him suffer I decided it was time to say good bye. The at home euthanasia service was a great option for us and she was able to come on a Saturday afternoon. We will miss our Deets.

I don't normally ugly cry in front of people the first time I meet them, but Dr. Murray was a rock and a comfort on one of the worst nights of my life. He came as an emergency to help ease my 14 year old dogs pain. He was so kind and patient. He made sure we knew what was happening, what was going to happen, and what we needed to do after. I didn't have to worry about any of the specifics, or the arrangements, I was allowed to grieve my best friend without anything else weighing on my mind. That alone was priceless.

Dr. Evymarie Prado Sanchez was an incredible part of our sweet boy Cash’s final moments. After 13 years together, Cash was diagnosed with a cancerous stomach mass. Within a day, he was retaining a significant amount of fluid and struggling to walk. We reached out through CodaPet, and Dr. Prado Sanchez responded quickly, sharing her personal cell number so we could communicate directly about her availability, our questions, and our concerns. Dr Jessica was so compassionate and caring. I couldn’t have asked for a doctor more suited to my needs and my cat’s temperament. She spoke in a gentle, soft tone and was so generous with her time, never rushing me and allowing me to set the pace throughout the appointment. She was curious about my sweet cat and wanted to hear what she was like. She was so understanding and kind and incredibly empathetic. A decision like this is never easy. But each of us will likely deal with it at some point. It’s an experience that really has no upside. All we can hope for is a calm and peaceful end to a cherished pet’s life. I’ve had over a dozen pets in my 55 years. Dr. DuBose provided quite possibly the most respectful, calming and compassionate experiences of this type that I’ve ever been through. If you have to go through this, I would highly recommend her approach.

My family recently had to put our beloved family dog to sleep. We utilized an in home pet euthanasia veterinarian and his nurse we found them through Coda Pet. Losing our 18 year old dog Dallas was heartbreaking however, I am so glad that I chose to do at home euthanasia. It was a very peaceful experience - there was no anxiety from a car ride, no unfamiliar smells or sounds, etc. Dr. Clem is very kind and compassionate, she walked us through each step and gave us as much time as we needed with Dallas. Overall, this was genuinely one of the worst experiences my family has ever had. However, Dr. Ben Litwack was extremely professional and respectful toward our family and our dog, Molly. He made sure everything was taken care of before he left, including things I hadn’t even thought of. I would highly recommend Dr. Ben to anyone facing a similar situation. The website was convenient, and next-day availability was a major benefit. Although the service costs a little extra, it was well worth it for our family.
I highly recommend Dr. Kimberly Campbell. She was super sweet with my Golden Retriever. The entire process was handled slowly and with obvious sensitivity to my beautiful girl as well as to me. Dr. Kim was gentle and kind. My girl played with Dr. Kim right up until she was sedated. The most beautiful way to "let go" when you've run out of ways to keep your precious pet here with you in comfort.

Dr. Ayala has put 2 of my dogs to rest in the last 6 months. One 12 year old German shepherd with advanced perianal fissures due to a sudden autoimmune disease and literally last week my almost 16 year old Brittany Spaniel who wanted to stay here mentally and was fighting so bad to be here just couldn't physically. She was vomiting daily for months and after 3k we couldnt figure out what was wrong. She lost 9 lbs and was very fragile. Putting your babies down is the worst pain I have ever felt in my life. Im currently crying writing this because I miss her so much but if you have to make the decision, at home with CodaPet is the way to go.
This is the second time we have had Dr. Murray provide end of life care for a beloved dog. Dr. Murray is the kindest and most professional vet. Our 17 year old Maltese had a sudden illness and it was so comforting to have Dr. Murray there. He gave our family the time and comfort we needed at a devastating time. We would highly recommend him to anyone dealing with the loss of a pet. He even sent us a beautiful bouquet of flowers the next morning to offer his condolences on our loss of Puck. He is an amazing vet!
This review goes beyond the actual service provided. This is about the process and the extreme care and compassion that was part of it. On what was one of the hardest days of my recent memory, Dr. Dzierga was available, attentive, etc; but more importantly was so very compassionate and reassuring throughout. I was an emotional mess having to let my best friend go, but she was instrumental in assuring everything went smoothly and comfortably for him; while being so kind to me as well. I would recommend for anyone having to let their pet go. :(
I highly recommend at home euthanasia as opposed to an impersonal clinic experience. My first dog I ever had was put to sleep at a clinic and it was traumatic for me and my dog. On Friday Oct 24th we made the decision for my Quasi’s eternal rest to be done at home surrounded by his pet parents and dog sister. Dr Sarah was like an angel in human form. She has such a calming nature and aura. She put all my apprehension immediately at ease. My dogs are usually high strung with constant barking once a stranger visits our home. With Dr Sarah, there was not constant barking. Quasi immediately went to her as she sat down. He even let her pet him. He has never done that ever with a stranger. Dr Sarah was knowledgeable and professional. She answered all my questions and listened to stories of Quasi. She never made us feel rushed or like she was on the clock. Such a pleasant and peaceful experience for us and Quasi. Quasi was not scared. He seemed at peace and it looked like he just drifted off to sleep. I can’t recommend Codapet and Dr Sarah Clem enough. When you are going through one of the hardest moments in your life, please consider this option. Dr Sarah was such a blessing for us during the difficult day.
We recently made use of CodaPet's in-home service for our ill senior dog. It was not an easy choice, but we wanted it to be somewhere comfortable and familiar to her. Dr. Goldberg was very kind and professional, and our pet's final moments were peaceful and painless. We greatly appreciate everything she said and did to make this very difficult time just a little bit easier for us. The cost we paid covered Dr. Goldberg's visit, transport to the crematorium, and the return of our pet's ashes. Options such as paw prints were available as well, for anyone who might want or need a last memento. Dr. Goldberg also alerted our primary veterinarian's office of our pet's passing for us, taking one more difficult item off our to-do list. The service--and the emotional support that came with it--was absolutely worth the price, and I do recommend CodaPet for anyone at the unfortunate stage of preparing to say goodbye to a pet.
I knew I needed a woman to help guide me thru this transition and something told me that Dr. Jen was that woman. We had exceptional service. From the moment I contacted CodaPet, I immediate received a text from Dr. John Murray, giving his cell and text again when he was on his way. When he arrived, he reminded us of our nephew coming to the door. Dr. Murray was so compassionate, asked questions about Parker. He sat on the floor, explained every step, he took great care of Parker (golden retriever) just turned 14 yr old. We knew it was time to send him over the rainbow bridge. We have had several dogs and we all agreed having the vet come to the house was sad, but a good experience, less stress on the dog and the family. She took the time to explain everything, made sure Nova was comfortable, and allowed us to have the time we needed to say goodbye. The way she spoke to Nova and handled her was so incredibly gentle. I could tell that she understood that Nova wasn't simply a patient. She was my family. What I will remember most is how calm and relieving the experience was. Dr. Jem Scott-Emuakpor recently helped us send our beloved dog Ralphie to his next chapter. She was absolutely wonderful - calm, patient, kind, gentle with Ralphie. He'd experienced unique medical issues which might have made the process more challenging, but Dr. Scott-Emuakpor's expertise allowed her to adjust the procedures to make them comfortable and streamlined for Ralphie. I can't recommend her highly enough.

My old boy was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and imagining having to put him in the car to a vet with a painful bone cancer sounded horrific. Kimberly was extremely accommodating and was easy to communicate with prior to my appointment. She came by and explained everything step by step. She treated him with so much care that this experience was much more peaceful. I recommend doing at home if you can.
It had to be the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make. Dr. Karen was a real sweetheart and did an excellent job on making it as easy as possible for me to deal with my loss. She took time to make sure both me and Isabel was comfortable before doing the procedure. Plus going out of her way to meet me to receive Isabel’s ashes. I elected cremation, the box I got back... hands down, amazing. I'm overwhelmed with thankfulness. As long as she practices I will never choose another. Thank you!
Dr. Delia was so incredible. She helped us with our family dog some months ago and we still talk about the visit with her and her kindness and gentleness.
Dr. Laura Dubose was so kind and calm and allowed our family to be with our Lady girl as she passed peacefully. She stood to the side out of the way and only came over when she needed to do something. She was very informative before the process started and very prepared. It was the right choice for our Lady girl.
Dr Jones was absolutely the sweetest person and took her time with us and answered all questions. I am so thankful that we had her to help at a very difficult time. She was so gentle with our fur baby and I would 💯 recommend her. What a blessing to be able to do this at home where we were all more comfortable.
Perfect in every way. I couldn't have asked for a better situation for our family in one of the hardest moments of our lives. We suddenly had to say goodbye to our dog of 10 years, and I couldn't fathom saying that last goodbye at the vet's office - which he hated. I was able to make an appointment that day online very easily. We got a text message confirmation from the vet who was to come for the appointment. We had Dr. Amanda Harper come to our home, and she was everything we could have asked for. Her kindness, experience, and patience shone so bright. She really took her time and catered to our special situation with our boy who has always been aggressive towards vets and vet techs. After we said goodbye, she let us take our time to grieve and be with him before it was time for him to leave us. We decided on a private cremation, and she helped us go over everything we needed to figure out before she left. They returned his ashes to our home within 48 hours. Our package included a clay paw print with a stand as well. I will never forget her kindness and the ease we felt in such an awful time. Of course, any at home euthanasia will be pricy but it was worth every single penny to us. Thank you Coda pet & we are forever thankful to Dr. Amanda Harper.
On the hardest day, Dave Leatherman was my Abigail’s angel. He was kind, gentle and full of empathy for us and my baby. He talked to Abby in a soft spoken voice that helped put her at ease. He explained the process and lets us take our time with her at each stage. I can’t thank him enough for helping us on such a horrible day.
Dr. Lydia was kind, patient, compassionate and knowledgeable. She gave us all the time we needed...answered all our questions...and let us proceed at our own pace. She made an unbearable day more bearable. To be able to allow my sweet Sylvester to pass peacefully and without trauma or fear in the safety of his own home and in a spot he loved was a gift. Such a 💔 time to say goodbye to a beloved family member. Dr. Dixon was so professional, compassionate, calm and kind. For one of the saddest moments in life, her care made it bearable.
We couldn’t have asked for a more compassionate and empathetic person to help our sweet Sara pass peacefully. She gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes, never once making us feel rushed. She also took care of all the arrangements afterward, so all we had to do was pick Sara up at the vet after her cremation. During such a heartbreaking time, her kindness and compassion meant more to us than words can express. We are so grateful for the gentle care she gave Sara and our family. ❤️🐾
Dr Sarah was amazing, compassionate and so thoughtful during this process!! I’m deeply grateful for her! She gave us so much time with our little momma. And when it was time for her to take momma , she wrapped her up gently and put her in a very fluffy blanket and put her in a bed!! We will forever be thankful for everything Dr. Sarah has done for our family!!!
Dr. Angela is an "Angel on Earth" When it was time to say goodbye to my sweet Macey Rae, I couldn'thave asked for a better experience. She spoke with me the day before and explained everything to me so I knew what to expect. She showed such compassion, care, patience, and gentleness to my girl. When she arrived she texted me versus ringing the doorbell to not stress Macey and to give me the opportunity to place my other dog outside. She took time to walk me through every step and that helped so much. She took wonderful care of Macey and gave us the time to grieve when it was done and gave my other dog time to say goodbye too. When I walked out with her , she had a beautiful memorial set up in her vehicle which helped me know that my baby was in leaving in great hands. The following week when we brought Macey back home, she delivered Macey herself to my home, which helped me tremendously with working towards closure. I pray that it will be a long time before I have to do this again...but when I do, Dr. Angela will be my first phone call. ❤️
Dr. Kellie Ayle was as compassionate as one could possibly be and helped so much to make the process much easier than it otherwise could of been. She was very special.
Dr. Poole was really kind, gentle, and compassionate. I highly recommend her for in-home services. I felt really lucky to lay my pet to rest in the comfort of his home.
