A very wonderful caring , warm and compassionate Dr Sara Gardhouse was the right person in my life to take care of my needs when it came to the final day of Rex’s life here on earth. She was accommodating to where I wanted. Rex euthanized . That to me was the greatest gift of all. Even though it rained all day, we went forward, so Rex wouldn’t suffer anymore. She answered questions I had after the procedure, when I was overwhelmed with heartbreak and grief, stating she was there for me if I needed. Dr. Sara Gardhouse, I can’t say enough how grateful I had her by our side, it was comforting. I would recommend her to anyone that needs in-home or out of home euthanasia. Dr. Phillips is so kind, caring, and gentle. She makes sure that you have all questions answered, and gives you the time needed to say goodbye to your beloved pet. We are so grateful that Dr. Courtney White was available to us, last minute nonetheless. We were able to say goodbye to our precious boy Radar in his favorite spot in our backyard. Dr Haick is the most compassionate person i have ever met. We had put two ten year old dogs pass away exactly two months apart, Dr Houck was helpful with both. We chose in house euthanasia once in an unexpected, emergency scenario and the second time as the end of a 5 month journey with an agressive cancer. For both dogs and for us, she went to the ends of the earth for our family. A heart wrenching time was handled with the utmost care, compassion and Dr Houk provides endless time and understanding. We couldnt have asked for a better end to our ten wonderful years with our belived dogs. We miss them every day. This is the way to do it if possible- in our home, calm and full of love. Dr Houk is amazing.
Dr. Crozier makes an incredibly difficult time so much easier. This is our second experience with her and I swear she's an angel on earth.
The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.
Dr Lori made this such a peaceful experience and has so much respect for the process. I am so grateful that my sweet boy got to leave this world in the easiest way possible and felt no pain. She gave us as much time as we wanted and allowed our other pup to say goodbye and take as much time as she needed also. I am so grateful.
We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.

Best decision ever. While my heart is broken, this option of a kind, gentle passing in our home, with no anxiety for my sweet girl was a blessing for both of us. Dr. Gibson was so sweet and compassionate. It is obvious she was born to do exactly this. Her respect for my baby was so comforting. I won't ever go a different route again.
Wanda was 14 years old. She was such a big part of our family, we couldn’t imagine saying goodbye to her at the vet’s office. Everyone was here with her, including Kiko our 6 year old rescue. I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Dr. Katie Todd arrived and explained in detail the process, gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes, and made the process as easy as possible. She was very reassuring to my children that we had made the right decision and explained all the options for taking care of the remains and provided us with keepsakes to ease the family’s pain. She was so kind and sweet and asked about my dog Capone and what was going on with him. She was even able to fit as in a day earlier as he seemed to be declining so much quicker then I hoped. She walked us thru the process of how everything was going to happen. She took care of my Capone and felt very secure with her handling him after his passing. She sent texts a couple days later checking in on me and my family and how we were doing as well as received a card in the mail. She brought his ashes home about a week later. In this very hard and sad time, I appreciate all the warm heartfelt support she provided.

My experience with Dr. Amanda McCasland was everything I could have hoped for when I made the heartbreaking decision to let my precious little Bam Bam go on without me. She was so kind and compassionate. Nothing was hurried, I never felt that a clock was ticking. As he started to get drowsy, Dr. Amanda listened as I spoke about (and to) my little Bammie . In my way, I was honoring his life by talking about how he found us, what a special little guy he had been, how blessed I always felt to be his person and how much he would be missed. In Dr. Amanda's way, she honored his life by being genuinely interested in him and his comfort, and making his transition as seamless as possible for the both of us. I love that the last thing Bam Bam heard was my voice and my heart beating as he laid in my arms with his head on my chest. I would not change a thing. I am so grateful to Dr. McCasland for her most excellent care and her compassion for me and little Bam Bam.
Dr. Meadows was fantastic. He showed so much compassion during a very difficult time. I recently moved to Ocala and was so happy to find Dr. Meadows as I always euthanize my animals at home if deemed necessary. I want them to feel at peace in their own surroundings. My boy Dusty was so peaceful and only felt love and no fear. I will always use Dr. Meadows if deemed necessary for my other furry kids.
Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful. She is an amazing human and is excellent at what she does. I am so grateful. Thank you so much Dr Delia.
Dr Gonnering was fantastic. She explained the process in great detail and made sure I was comfortable with every step before it was taken along the way. I would highly recommend the in-home service as it allows your Pet and yourself to grieve in the comfort of your own home.
Dr. White made it possible for us to say goodbye to our baby boy Radar where he was happiest, in his own backyard. The sun was shining on him as he gently moved on to wait for us. Saying goodbye has been more difficult than we ever imagined, but because of Dr. White’s compassionate care we remember only peace and love, up until the very end.
When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. Lane made a horrible no win situation more acceptable with his calm demeanor and soothing words. I can't thank Dr Martin enough for helping little Barney come to peaceful end to his life's journey.
Dr. Megan Duvall was the best we could have asked for. This was such a hard decision and experience- one I have never been through. From her text the day before to her compassion and gentleness the day of and the follow up note she send us helped make this decision not as difficult. We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
Saying goodbye to our beloved dachshund Lily was one of the most painful moments of our lives, but thanks to Dr. Lisa Stadler with CodaPet, it was also one of the most peaceful and compassionate. In-home pet euthanasia. Saying good-bye to Micky was one of the most difficult days of my life. Dr. Karen arrived at our home and I could tell she was heaven sent. Her warmth, caring and concern from the moment we met was comforting. She was in contact with us a few days prior to help us prepare. Even though Micky was somewhat sedated already, she greeted him with a soft touch and a quiet hello. He even gave her a really good side stretch. We sat and chatted about our life with Micky until it was time. The three step process was gentle and quiet. We held Micky's head and petted him though the whole process. He went so quietly and peacefully. Since we were having him cremated, Dr. Karen had a small stretcher to carry him out on. The stretcher as covered in the softest, comfiest blanket. We wrapped Micky in it and he was carried out to her car. When we went out to say good-bye to Micky one more time, she had placed a remembrance sign and stone near him. It was perfect and he was at peace. If you choose to have Dr. Karen come to your home, I highly recommend Coda Pet services.
We are deeply thankful to Dr. Shannon Nakaya for the care and compassion she showed during our beloved dog Giggsy’s final moments. Saying goodbye was an incredibly painful decision and a very difficult day for us, but her kindness, patience, and gentle approach helped ease the burden. I had to make the painful decision of putting my dog, Luna, down, and wanted to do it at home. Not only was the price fair, but Dr. Gardhouse was amazing. She came earlier than the scheduled arrival time, had a very calm and caring demeanor, and answered all questions. She worked at my pace and enjoyed watching us give my girl a last meal of chicken nuggets, popcorn, and chocolate chips cookies. This decision was not easy, but Dr. Gardhouse was the perfect provider to use. She took great care of my girl and even sent a follow up card in the mail sending her regards. Could not recommend her enough, there’s a special place for humans like her that do this work?
It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.

Dr. Duvall did a fantastic job easing our dog out of this world, and in tending to our human needs and concerns as well. She really went the extra mile and was full of compassion for all of us. I can't imagine how the inherently difficult situation could have been made any easier.
Dr. Lisa made herself available for a last-minute urgent call for us and she couldn’t have been more lovely and caring. This is obviously a challenging and sad time for anyone in the position to call. She treated it with reverence and kindness. Feel lucky to have had her.
We were lucky to have nine good years with our Bernese Mountain Dog, “Sansa”; however, when the end came, it came fast. Our vet recommended CodaPet, and I immediately booked the first appointment available. And while the decision to end Sansa’s suffering as soon as possible was easy; her actually dying was something else entirely. But what did make this utterly heartbreaking experience a little less painful, was the doctor we got: Lauren Ayala. When she arrived, she calmly and gently just “took it from there”. I can’t tell you how much this matters when you’re faced with such an overwhelming loss. Dr. Ayala had such a special way about her: not only giving Sansa the painless, gentle departure we wanted so badly, but she also provided us with just as much comfort. She isn’t just a good doctor; she’s the kind of person who genuinely cares for everyone involved. She understands completely that Sansa isn’t just our pet—she’s a family member. We got to spend our last few moments petting her and cradling her snout while Dr. Ayala talked us through everything that was happening and what to expect. We were never out of our pup’s line of sight, and I know that was exactly what she wanted; and for us to be able to do that, in our own home, and without having to move her, meant so much. The first injection was to sedate her, so she’d be unconscious. Sansa just closed her eyes, but her breathing let us know she was still with us. Laruen then let us know the euthanasia was going in. She didn’t feel a thing, It was peaceful. Everything about the process and how Dr. Ayala managed it all was the best we could possibly hope for. And as soon as Sansa passed, she stepped out for a bit so we could say goodbye. Losing a pet is just… hard. And honestly, it was only after some time passed and we could reflect on that day then when it dawned on us how truly fortunate we were to have Lauren there. She was so kind, so caring, and professional in a way that it almost went unnoticed that this is a doctor who has done all the prep, calculated all the medications, then flawlessly executed a procedure that really does take some serious skill. I would urge anyone considering in-home euthanasia to know that it’s worth every penny. Being with your pet in your own home really matters so much. Even if you (like us), can’t fully realize how important the little things matter until you’re able to look back on it later, trust me, you’ll be glad knowing you chose the best option when you were faced with such a difficult decision. If you feel your pet might be approaching the end, the first thing I’d suggest would be to bookmark the CodaPet website. Keep Dr. Lauren Ayala’s name written down nearby. If you’re able to book her, you can rest assured you’ll be in truly excellent hands.
This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. Dr Anna was on time, very loving, caring and made us all feel at ease with going forward. She even brought a treat for him, and my very usually picky dog ate it! Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Thank you again for being so wonderful to our sweet baby.
Couldn’t have asked for a better experience from Dr. Briell. She took a lot of time to talk with us about Lucy and her life with us, her favorite things and experiences. She also had treats and was quite generous with them. I know Lucy, (always a food motivated doggie) had at least 8 or 10, so she went over the rainbow bridge with a full belly. She even took a paw print and cut some of her hair for us. The whole procedure right down to Pet Rest, that came to transport her to the cremation facility, was done very reverently and empathetically throughout the whole ordeal. I had her ashes returned to me within two days and there was a beautiful card and a cast of her paw included along with my chosen container. I highly recommend Dr. Briell and Pet Rest. They took an otherwise traumatic experience and made it bearable.
Dr. Daniella Ross helped us say goodbye to our boy Whiskey with an in home pet euthanasia on Saturday Sept 20th. My husband and I have never had to do the euthanasia route before so it was all very new to us. Dr Daniella Ross had the most calming voice and presence that truly kept us all at peace. She made sure we understood the whole process and even worked around us so we never had to leave our boy's side. She gave us as much time as we needed, and even gave Whiskey a silly little haircut so we could keep some of his fur. We are forever grateful. It was the hardest night of my entire life, but Dr Ross made it a bitter sweet beautiful goodbye.
Dr. Gordon performed the euthanasia for my sweet soul dog of 16 years. It was the most peaceful experience I could’ve asked for. She knew exactly what to say and created such a calm environment to spend our final moments together. I’m very grateful for her service.
When the dreaded day came of my best friend, George, looking me in the eyes as if to say "mom, I can't fight this cancer anymore," I found that I didn't know where to turn. Similarly to many dogs, George did not like the vet and I wanted to offer him the opportunity to pass peacefully in his home rather than stressed at the vet's clinic. Additionally, I was unsure if I would be able to manage even getting him to the vet. After a quick google search, I found CodaPet, which happened to have same-day availability with Dr. Angela. Given that I had never used this company, nor had I heard of it, I was skeptical, but decided to give Dr. Angela a chance. Dr. Angela was amazing every step of the way! Upon scheduling the appointment, Dr. Angela reached out offering to answer any and all questions that I had, allowing me to mentally process the impending loss and the process of euthanasia, cremation, etc. She was patient, had excellent communication, was sympathetic, and caring. Dr. Angela even continued communication after the euthanasia and cremation to inform me of the arrival of George's remains at his normal vet's office and ensured I had no further needs. She even went above and beyond reaching out to the cremation company to ask them a question that I had for them. Then, after all of that, she sent my girlfriend and I a handwritten card that was touching to both of us, even remembering my girlfriend's name, which was only given verbally upon meeting. There are not enough words to truly describe the gift that she gave the three of us as she gave us a peaceful goodbye in a place that George loved so much. I am forever grateful for her kindness and to make something so heartbreaking a lot less stressful.
Putting a beloved pet to rest comes with such complex and heavy emotions. Dr. Jill made the entire process stress-free, approaching every interaction with deep compassion, patience and helpfulness. From initial scheduling to final arrangements, Dr. Jill has been communicative and very responsive over text and email. We are so grateful to her for ensuring that our sweet boy was able to transition peacefully at home, as well as ensure that we have all of the information and arrangements we need for the care of his remains. We would highly recommend Coda Pet, and especially Dr. Jill.
I can only imagine what it must be like to regularly share such vulnerable and devastating moments with strangers, but Dr Ross’s presence felt like a friend to us when she helped us guide our beloved Bleu peacefully to the other side. Her compassion, tact, kindness, understanding, gentle explanations, gave us strength and alleviated any lingering worries about the decision.
Dr. Mitchell was wonderful. She was very caring with our pet and our family durning a difficult time. I would highly recommend Dr. Mitchell.
We decided to use CodaPet when it was time for us to make that decision for our sweet 14 year old St Bernard, Fiona. It was the best thing we could have done. Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.
I can't say enough fabulous things about Dr. Jessica Pruitt! It was a hard decision (as it always will be) when its time for our "buddies" to have to leave us:( but Dr. Jessica is so gentle and kind. She explains everything, is very patient and my Molly just warmed right up to her which made things even easier. I can't express the gratitude to Dr. Jessica enough as she made this as peaceful as can be for all of us:) Thank you Dr. Jessica!
Dr. Katie was amazing! She handled everything so professionally yet personally too. Ruger will be so missed by many (as she can attest to, she said it was the biggest crowd she'd had, there were 9 of us) and I will never take my pets to a cold impersonal clinic to pass if I can help it. Having your pet pass at home where they're comfortable and familiar was such a blessing!
Dr. Loughmiller was amazing! She blended the perfect combination of compassion and expertise/efficiency to a heartbreaking process. We were soooo sad to say good bye to our beloved pet, but so grateful Dr. Loughmiller could make the experience peaceful and easy!! Thank you Dr. Loughmiller!!
Dr. Thomason was wonderful. Kind, compassionate, sensitive, professional. She was the ideal person to help us through this difficult ordeal. We had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to our beloved 8 year old Rottweiler Ryder. Dr. Dover went above and beyond to help us with this process. Not only did she go out of her way to come to our house after 8:00 pm on a Friday night, (changing our appointment that we had for Saturday afternoon), but she was also very compassionate and supportive. She gave us as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes and she was very loving to our sweet boy as he transitioned to his journey over the rainbow bridge. Thank you so very much Dr. Dover for your support and the hug you gave me afterwards. Your kindness didn’t go unnoticed.
When the day came for our beloved Blue's euthanasia, Dr. Peterson handled everything professionally, efficiently, and with great compassion. We would highly recommend Dr. Peterson to anyone having to make that heartbreaking decision.
Dr. Jessica Mumm, was %100 compassionate , caring, kind and human. She was an amazing care attendant for Sam and for us. More-so than I thought was even possible in this difficult, tough situation. Dr. Kim was an absolute angel! She made the passing of our sweet Belle (15 year old blue tick) so much easier. Her compassion and just overall presence during such a hard time was so comforting. I will be recommending the at home service to anyone I know who has an elderly dog.
Dr. Briell Dzierga made this difficult decision easier with her compassion and care. She took the time to learn about Hanks life and what he means to us as a family. If you ever have to make this kind of call, I would definitely recommend her and if/when I have to make it again, she’ll be the one I call for sure.
