Dr. Karen Duncan came to our home to help us say goodbye to our beloved cat, and I truly cannot express how grateful we are for her care and compassion. This experience was beautifully heartbreaking. I am so thankful we decided to go this route while putting our beloved dog down. Keri handled everything so compassionately and thoughtful. Dr. Jennifer Dykstra was a God-send to help our beautiful,much loved Labrador Retriever cross the Rainbow Bridge. We are heartbroken to have lost our constant companion of almost 15 years but Dr. Dykstra's gentleness and caring/nuturing nature was very calming to us in the midst of our sadness. Dr. Murray brought a level of peace and comfort to our home during the most difficult time of our life. We feared his (and any vet's) presence would feel somewhat dark knowing what was about to happen. However, when he got to our home, he sat with our Jax and just wanted to learn about him, his life, his favorite things, and our favorite memories with him. He gave us all the time we needed and comforted us. We miss our Jax and Dr. Murray helped us give him the send off he deserved.

Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Thank you again for being so wonderful to our sweet baby.
We decided to use CodaPet when it was time for us to make that decision for our sweet 14 year old St Bernard, Fiona. It was the best thing we could have done. When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.

Oh my gosh, this is Been such a difficult time losing our beloved Mr Jude. Dr Sarah Crozier was so caring and supportive. She is a patient and kind person. Though were hoping we wouldn't have to do this, I'm so grateful that we found her and were able to allow him to have a very peaceful loving final moment in his home.
Her bedside manner is incredible. She was patient in explaining the process to my child in a way he could understand. She gave us as much time as we wanted to say goodbye and never once rushed us. Most importantly, she was sympathetic to our feelings around losing our pet without being pitying. I really appreciate her and won't hesitate to use her if/when we have to put another pet down.

Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful. Dr. Amanda Harper was the epitome of professionalism. She was kind and took her time with us and our dog. Smokey was relaxed and felt very loved, at home, with his family. I would never choose to do it differently if we were ever to be in that situation again. This service made a terrible situation as easy as it could ever be. Dr. April was a godsend. Making the final decision after the emotional debate; back & forth; am I making the right decision?; I think she could hold on a little longer... she help make the process bearable. She sat with us, cried with us and explained the process with compassion. She gave us time and space to say our final goodbye. I couldn't imagine doing it any other way with anyone else. She was the best and I highly recommend her.
Dr. Dover’s demeanor put us at ease the moment she arrived. That made the entire experience as pleasant as could be to help our Willow cross the rainbow bridge in comfort.
We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
He couldn’t have made this experience any easier. When Dr.Gary arrived none of us felt rushed or pressured. He answered all our questions & allowed us to make our own keepsakes. Before & after the process, Dr.Gary was very responsive and attentive to our needs. I truly wouldn’t recommend anyone else but him for this. His presence and professionalism made it a bearable experience for me & my entire family.

It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.
She was very caring of Snowie and offered lot of opportunity to answer any of my questions. She followed up with me after and extended her sympathies the day Snowie passed and afterwards.

Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.
Dr. Pilago showed so much care and compassion when we had to make the painful decision to put our handsome pup Rodney to sleep. I highly recommend her.

I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. Saying goodbye to our dog Lucy was one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to face, but choosing in-home pet euthanasia was absolutely the right decision for HER (and for us) Lucy was only 7.5 years old. She lost her vision at the age of 5 and spent the last 2.5 years navigating the world in darkness. She adapted in her own way, relying on familiarity, scent, and the comfort of home. Because Lucy was blind, she didn’t experience fear or confusion about being taken somewhere new. To her, it was simply another calm moment at home—another visitor stopping by. That gave us an incredible sense of peace. Dr. Murray patiently walked us through every step of the process, making sure we understood what was happening and what to expect. Most importantly, he gave us the time we needed to say goodbye. There was no pressure, no rushing—just quiet support during one of the most emotional moments of our lives. Lucy passed peacefully, surrounded by the people who loved her, in the place where she felt safest. We are so grateful for the empathy and professionalism shown to us and to Lucy. For anyone facing this difficult decision, I cannot recommend in-home euthanasia enough. It allowed Lucy to leave this world with dignity, comfort, and love. It gave us the chance to say goodbye in the most meaningful way possible.

This is the second time Dr. Allison has been there for us in such a difficult time in our lives. I requested her immediately when we knew our 16 month old golden doodle Rutledge's cancer was terminal. She is so very respectful, knowledgeable, loving, kind and calming. The peace we felt in this process at home was priceless. My sweet baby crossed over with his family and his animal family by his side while eating hotdog and whipped cream. Words are just not enough to describe what Dr. Allison gives to her patients and their families. Thank you so much for providing this alternative to traditional euthanasia at the office. Dr. April was wonderful. She was kind, empathetic, and patient. She listened to my daughter and me talk about our memories with Emerson. She cried with us. She fully explained the process and assured us that we were giving Emerson peace and freedom from pain. She helped us save memories with locks of Emerson’s fur and paw prints. She made sure that Emerson left with dignity, carrying him gently in a comfortable bed. She helped make this most difficult time meaningful.
When Dr. Who, my 15 year old cat with kidney disease, suddenly became very sick, I knew it was time to say goodbye. I was grateful to have the option of calling Dr. Ayala with CodaPet. Dr. Whitman was kind and patient with both Kiwi our fur baby and us as we faced this sad decision. She gave us time as we went through the process and treated our girl with dignity. I loved that she was wrapped in a flower blanket when we sad our last good bye to her. The cremation service that Dr. Whitman used was also thoughtful. The wood box with her name on it and the velvet bag it came in was lovely. I would highly recommend Dr. Whitman when one has to face end of life with their fur baby.
Dr. Lis Pilago was exceptionally kind, caring, and compassionate. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that requires her service. It is such a sad situation when you are losing a loved one but it is best to have it done in your pet’s most comfortable place; in their own home.
Dr. Duncan was FABULOUS. We cannot recommend her service high enough. She is caring, compassionate and thoughtful. She made our dog’s final moments beautiful and peaceful. She even set up a beautiful memorial for us before she left.

The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.
Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Dr. Katie Todd arrived and explained in detail the process, gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes, and made the process as easy as possible. She was very reassuring to my children that we had made the right decision and explained all the options for taking care of the remains and provided us with keepsakes to ease the family’s pain. Dr. Gordon performed the euthanasia for my sweet soul dog of 16 years. It was the most peaceful experience I could’ve asked for. She knew exactly what to say and created such a calm environment to spend our final moments together. I’m very grateful for her service.
The decision to euthanize our beloved Frankie was an extremely difficult, but ultimately necessary one for his sake. We are so fortunate and grateful that two of the most compassionate and thoughtful people responded to perform the procedure. Both Dr. Walton and her Assistant/ Nurse, Morgan were amazing from the moment they arrived. Their kind words and demeanor made my family feel we were making the right decision for Frankie and our family. They also made a special trip back to our home to make sure we had Frankie’s paw and nose prints to give to our daughter, who we were going to pick up from UCSC the next day. Dr. Clem was very respectful and patient with us. Butters was in a lot of pain and she was prioritizing his pain while managing our grief very gracefully. Butters was not even scared, and he usually doesn’t like strangers. That says a lot about the presence that Dr. Clem has - gentle and caring. Butters passed in my arms and having Dr. Clem with us made the process bearable.
Dr. Tolbert made saying goodbye to our kitty a surprisingly positive experience, considering how painful it was. She was kind to us and our surviving kitty, who was bonded to the one we had to say goodbye to. She gave us advice on how to help him with his grief, and allowed him to be there so he would understand what was happening. We had our baby's ashes back in less than a week, as well as fur clippings, nose & paw prints, and a clay print. Our urn is beautiful. She shared knowledge about our kitty's cancer and assured us this was the right choice and that he looked great for his age. The peace she provided was well worth it for our family, and we highly recommend reaching out to her when your pet's time comes.
Dr. Duvall did a fantastic job easing our dog out of this world, and in tending to our human needs and concerns as well. She really went the extra mile and was full of compassion for all of us. I can't imagine how the inherently difficult situation could have been made any easier.
Dr. Michelli was very kind and compassionate, always mindful of how deeply we cared for Felix. She was so gentle and caring with him. She explained each step and let us take the time we needed to process and say our goodbyes. It’s never easy but Dr. Michelli made the whole journey more personal. She was wonderful!
Dr. Briell was wonderful with our Millie. She listened to our stories, let us laugh and cry and explained everything very thoroughly. This was our first experience with in-home euthanasia and we are sold. We highly recommend her to anyone wanting to say a peaceful goodbye to their beloved pets.

She was a wonderful in a very difficult time. It’s always hard to have to make that call but Dr Corrie made me feel I had made the right call and my dog was suffering. I was nervous of what to expect and she explained all the steps and I was so glad it was peaceful and at home. Highly recommend.
Saying goodbye to my companion and best friend, Coco, was the hardest thing I have done. Dr. Nicolette Michelli made the experience pleasant, despite the situation. She was very patient with us and you could tell she sincerely cared. She even went above and beyond to make sure I had received Coco's ashes. I have three more fur babies and as long as Dr. Nicolette Michelli is available, I know the experience will be pleasant when that time comes again.
Dr. Murray provided a very professional and respectful session during our difficult time. He was patient, kind, calm, and soft spoken which was comforting. We did not at all feel rushed and he gave our family private time with our cat during the final moments before our goodbye.
Wanda was 14 years old. She was such a big part of our family, we couldn’t imagine saying goodbye to her at the vet’s office. Everyone was here with her, including Kiko our 6 year old rescue. Dr John was everything we needed that day. Patient, understanding, compassionate and professional. Thank you to Dr John and Codapet, especially for the questionnaire to help understand if it was time to say goodbye. Wanda runs free now with Mel and Bruiser. Goodbye girl.
This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. Dr Anna was on time, very loving, caring and made us all feel at ease with going forward. She even brought a treat for him, and my very usually picky dog ate it! Dr. Ayers was kind, compassionate and very mindful of what was happening. She asked questions, explained the process, and checked in with us throughout to make sure we understood and were ready for the next step. She was patient and allowed us the time we needed to say goodbye to our beloved dog. She made a very painful situation as easy as it could be logistically. Also codapet.com made the schedule process quick and simple during a challenging time. I’m so grateful for the graceful way we were able to deal with the passing of our loved one.
