I was so grateful for the professionalism and empathy Dr. Lori Thomas showed me during such a difficult time. This is the hardest thing that pet owners have to deal with, but it does lessen the pain to have a caring vet in your home, helping your beloved oet pass. My girl left this life peacefully with me by her side. It comforts me to know she felt secure and not afraid as she quietly went to sleep.
Dr. Stukey was so amazingly kind, patient, and caring! She created such a gentle way to say goodbye during a very difficult experience. If you are finding yourself at the tough position of having to say goodbye to a beloved pet, she is the vet to help your loved one cross the bridge. ♥️
Dr. Walton and her assistant Morgan were the most compassionate, respectful, and sympathetic professionals when it came to putting my dog down. They both intuitively knew what to say, what to do, and I appreciated their gentle presence, kindness, and communication beyond words. This was my first time having to part ways with a pet, and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. However, even in my profound grief, there was a moment during the process I thought of how beautifully tragic this was. If it has to happen, this is the most peaceful and poetic way to do it. Zoey took her last breath just how she wanted - in my arms, surrounded by the people and things she loved most, in the comfort of her own home. Dr. Walton and Morgan, I hope to never see you for your services again… but if I or someone else does, I cannot recommend them enough. I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. Dr. Whala came to our home to help us through the passing of our dog Dakota. It was the hardest thing we had to do. Dr. Whala was wonderful. Through her kindness, compassion, and caring demeanor, it made this painful experience more bearable. Dr. Givens was wonderful. It's such a painful experience to go through but he was both professional and caring. He made my Skylar's last moments as comfortable as possible. I can never thank him enough for that gift.
Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful. Yes I am so glad we did it at home and Dr. Lori is amazing she didn’t rush and was very understanding and I felt like it gave Lola comfort and dignity in the end. For this being one of the hardest days of my life I am glad we had support from Dr. Lori.

Dr. Ross was like an angel coming in to care for my dog, shiloh, in his final hours. When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. Lane made a horrible no win situation more acceptable with his calm demeanor and soothing words. I can't thank Dr Martin enough for helping little Barney come to peaceful end to his life's journey.

I can't say enough fabulous things about Dr. Jessica Pruitt! It was a hard decision (as it always will be) when its time for our "buddies" to have to leave us:( but Dr. Jessica is so gentle and kind. She explains everything, is very patient and my Molly just warmed right up to her which made things even easier. Dr. Croizer was so kind and gentle during the whole process. While one no wants to go through this sad process, it was much easier having Dr. Croizer there, making Jake comfortable, talking with me about Jake and his life while he passed.
Dr. Kim was an absolute angel! She made the passing of our sweet Belle (15 year old blue tick) so much easier. Her compassion and just overall presence during such a hard time was so comforting. I will be recommending the at home service to anyone I know who has an elderly dog.
Best decision ever. While my heart is broken, this option of a kind, gentle passing in our home, with no anxiety for my sweet girl was a blessing for both of us. Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.
The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.
Wanda was 14 years old. She was such a big part of our family, we couldn’t imagine saying goodbye to her at the vet’s office. Everyone was here with her, including Kiko our 6 year old rescue. Dr John was everything we needed that day. Patient, understanding, compassionate and professional. I cannot say enough about Dr. Angela that could explain how truly wonderful she is. My 16 year old maine coon/teddy bear mix developed a large lung tumor, which sadly forced us to make the heartbreaking decision to have him put to rest once it started to noticeably affect his breathing & quality of life. I was able to request a same day appointment. She arrived right on time,& took so much time with us and our sweet baby, Chance. He was not afraid & that was one of my biggest worries. Dr. Gordon performed the euthanasia for my sweet soul dog of 16 years. It was the most peaceful experience I could’ve asked for. She knew exactly what to say and created such a calm environment to spend our final moments together. I’m very grateful for her service.

Dr. Vernon has such an incredible gift and my family and I are lucky that she has been with us for two very difficult times (euthanizing our dogs). We reached out to Dr Givens when our two labs grew too weary for this world, but loved us too much to let go. They were over 14 and the idea of taking them anywhere seemed too overwhelming to arrange, as well as too stressful to these sweet dogs. After reaching out to schedule, Dr Givens reached out and talked us through the process, gave us all oir options, and made sure we were comfortable (as we could be) with the plan. When the day came, there was steady communication on timing and no surprises. It was the hardest decision, but being able to hold our dogs and say goodbye in the environment they knew was beyond incredible and a gift to them, as well as us. We didn't feel rushed at any point, and the care and love they treated our dogs with throughout the whole process was just so special to us. I hope no one ever has to make the decision to put their pet down, but we could not have asked for anything more in this process and would 100% reach out to Dr Givens if we have to make a decision like this again. I appreciate the peace and love felt throughout; it brought a bit of light into an otherwise very hard process and time in our lives. Thanks so much, Dr Givens.

Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
Dr. Delia is truly one of the most amazing people I have ever met. She gave us peace of mind by answering all of our questions and throughly explaining what our baby girl was experiencing. We are so happy that our Mira was surrounded by love and comfort in her final moments.
Last month we said goodbye to our precious 17 year-old dachshund, Lucy. After seeing an online post telling of their own personal experience with home euthanasia, we knew that would be an excellent choice for us as well. We had Dr. Kirsten Stukey, with CodaPet, come to our home. Our primary concern was to not add any more anxiety than necessary for Lucy and Dr. Stukey was perfect in every way. We reached out on their website, she quickly responded, and our appointment was set. She arrived promptly and met our little girl. Dr. Stukey explained how she would do things, and made sure she answered all of our questions. I was happy that I could hold Lucy throughout the entire process, it was so peaceful. Dr. Stukey is the most compassionate, gentle, caring individual, just what you want when having to say your last goodbye. I highly recommend Dr. Stukey if you ever need this service.
I cannot thank Dr. Murray enough for the sincere amount of support and love he expressed during this time. I honestly don't know what I would have done or how I would have gotten through this time if it wasn't for him!

We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.
This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. Dr Anna was on time, very loving, caring and made us all feel at ease with going forward. She even brought a treat for him, and my very usually picky dog ate it! The decision to say goodbye to their beloved pet isn’t one anyone wants to make. Dr. Murray was empathetic and truly kind when he talked us through the process. His gentleness and compassion was appreciated by myself and the family as we said goodbye to our dog in the most peaceful way. Coda was absolutely the right choice if the choice needs to be made.

I want to thank Dr. Lori Thomas so much for her kindness and compassion. She helped my partner and I see our beautiful boy, Hobart, across the rainbow bridge this past October, and was so great at balancing the realities of paperwork with the comfort and care we needed to feel like our cat was given the best seeing-off we could possibly give him. It was not my first time saying goodbye to a pet, but it was my partner's first time, and we were both really impressed with how well everything was handled. We still cried, of course, but the experience was so much different and better in-home than it would have been elsewhere. I was so touched by the way Dr. Thomas carried Hobart to her car in a beautiful, cushioned basket with all of the flowers we laid on his body as well as one of his favorite toys. Seeing him placed right in the passenger seat in the sunlight was the best way I can imagine seeing him in his last moments. Thank you, Dr. Thomas.
Dr Perzak was beyond wonderful and kind through a most difficult situation. It is never easy to make the decision to let your pet go, but she made it so much easier to deal with. What a treat it was to be able to do this in the comfort of our home with my boys surrounding our beloved Murphy. I highly recommend this service and requesting Dr Perzak to come to your home. Dr. Romanos was absolutely wonderful. This was an extremely difficult time for us, and she helped our baby cross the rainbow bridge in the most peaceful way possible. Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Thank you again for being so wonderful to our sweet baby.
It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.
We decided to use CodaPet when it was time for us to make that decision for our sweet 14 year old St Bernard, Fiona. It was the best thing we could have done. Dr Jason Doolittle made sure the experience was peaceful and went at a pace we were comfortable with. He explained in detail everything that would happen and was very gentle with Fiona. Lexi was our first family pet, so we'd never used a service like this and I didn't know it was an option until I unfortunately had to consider it this past week. Amy came by last evening and was very kind and considerate. She sat with us and allowed us to start the process when we felt comfortable. She was especially kind to my children who were having a rough time, as we all were. We are very thankful this service exists, and for Amy.
First and foremost, I’m sorry for the late review. Losing my best bud has been extremely hard on my family and I. He was my shadow and my best friend and I just miss him so much 😞. Because my Oddy meant so much to me I wanted the very best experience for him . I was a bit reluctant at first because I had never heard of codapet. I chose to take a risk and I am so glad I chose Dr Lewis. From the very moment she stepped into our home, she was very compassionate, understanding, and respectful. We explained that Oddy’s tumor had burst open that morning and we were having a difficult time getting him to walk, and eat, which he loved to do. She walked us through every step and let us have the time we needed to say our goodbyes. Although that night was one of the worst days of my life, I was extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to hold my boy, in the comfort of our own home, as he took his last breath. Dr Lewis, also was kind enough to gift my whole family these small recycled medication vials with hearts attached to them filled with our Oddy’s fur. I turned it into a necklace and believe it or not it has helped me tremendously with the healing process after the loss of my fur baby. The only thing I was disappointed about is that my Oden’s name was spelled “Odin” on all of the documents and keepsakes we received. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Dr Lewis. Dr. Amanda Harper was the epitome of professionalism. She was kind and took her time with us and our dog. Smokey was relaxed and felt very loved, at home, with his family. I would never choose to do it differently if we were ever to be in that situation again. This service made a terrible situation as easy as it could ever be. Highly recommend to all my pet-loving friends.
We have said goodbye to 3 dogs prior to Lucy’s passing at home. This time with Dr. Early was by far (for lack of a better word) the best experience it could be for a very difficult time. It was respectful, peaceful, loving and far less stressful. We know Lucy is playing in the sun (and the hose) with Sadie, Poncho and Linus. Many thanks for Dr. Early for making a bad day better! The team at CodaPet made all the difference in the world. The process was smooth and they were readily available to answer any questions. Dr. Katie Simpson was so considerate, gentle, and kind. She and her team made what was a very hard day a little bit better.
I spent nearly 5000 days with Gus. I wavered back and forth between making his last appointment with his primary vet or going with an in-home service. I ultimately chose Dr. Keri through Codapet. I don't think I could have said goodbye in a more kinder, gentler or respectful way. Dr. Keri was so incredibly caring, knowledgeable and patient on which was probably the most difficult day of my tired old life.
