Dr. Laura DuBose came to our home to help us say goodbye to our sweet baby. An office visit for this was out of the questionāat home euthanasia is the only way to go. Dexter was comfortable in his home and with his people when he closed his eyes for the last time. Codapet was the best way to go it definitely was a hard decision, but Dr. Elizabeth Parks made it very peaceful. She did such a great job. Our beloved 18 y.o.cat always hated to go to the vet. We chose in home euthanasia to provide a quiet end of life for him. Dr. Amy Roberts came to our house to provide that service. Dr Robertās was so kind and consoling. She explained the process in advance to make sure we understood the process and answered all of our questions. She made a difficult day much easier. We had to have our dog of 17 years put down. The doctor was so professional, yet caring. It was so much better for him and less stressful than a car ride to the Vets office They have taken care of absolutely everything including cremation. I would recommend Their services highly.

Dr. Laura is the definition of compassion! Our 15 1/2 year old Cocker Spaniel, Lexie, was diagnosed with cancer of the spleen the day before we met Dr. Laura at our home. We decided a cold sterile table at a Veterinarian Hospital wasn't suitable for the best Cocker we've ever owned. Dr. Laura took her time explaining what she was going to do before she did it. She let us set the pace as we took the time we needed to say good bye. We couldn't think of a better way to honor Lexie. We're so happy that services like this are available now and that Dr. Laura was the perfect Vet to carry out our wishes for Lexie.
I donāt think there are enough words to express how grateful our family is to Dr. Sarah Crozier at CodaPet for the compassion, kindness, and care she showed us when we said goodbye to our beloved Lucy. From our very first communication, Sarah went above and beyond to make an incredibly difficult experience as peaceful and comfortable as possible. She took the time to understand Lucyās needs, thoughtfully answered every question, and made sure our family felt supported throughout the entire process. What meant the most to us was her genuine empathy. Dr. Megan Blasier Duvall did an incredible job with helping our precious 17-year old kitty, Kira, cross over the rainbow bridge. Dr Elizabeth was incredibly kind, gentle, and patient as we said goodbye to Luigi. We've never done in-home euthanasia, and we were a bit nervous. This was absolutely the right path for us. Dr Megan Blasier Duvall was so wonderful, gentle, & kind for us and our precious boy that was in kidney failure. It was a smooth transition for our sweet kitty and Dr Megan went above and beyond with offering a small clipping of his fur in a little glass vial and a sweet heart stone the same color as our boy. I found the booking process to be very easy and helpful with being able to see different times & prices clearly and pay beforehand so you donāt have to worry about doing all that in the moment. I was concerned about using a vet who I did not know our boy Niko, and who had not seen him before. I did not want to add stress to Niko by taking him to the vet's office when he was already in pain and confused. Having the in-home experience was a perfect solution for us. Dr. Ellen was kind, patient, and gentle. She took the time to hear our stories and to get to know Niko. She had wonderful communication throughout the entire process, so we knew what was happening. We were able to be there to say our goodbyes, in our own home while holding and loving our boy. Dr. Ellen then took care of taking Niko in for cremation so we could remain at home to grieve our loss.

He was incredibly kind and compassionate to our family during one of the hardest times in our lives. He was scheduled to help our boy pass peacefully, but our dog passed before the appointment. We still moved forward with the cremation, and he continued to support us with such care. He gave us time to say our final goodbyes and was so gentle with our boy when transporting him. His communication throughout the process, including when our boyās ashes were ready, was excellent. Really bad experience with this company, the scheduling and accessibility to access these services were good. We picked in home euthanasia, abit pricey but worth it for the comfort of our dog and many people feel this way. Once we picked our location for Alexandria (Northern Virginia ) area, we were then assigned to one specific doctor which was Dr. Derecka Alexander. She was scheduled to arrive at 2pm and she arrived 35 minutes late due to traffic. This area is known for traffic so her promptness would have been important on such an awful day, given that our dog was going to being euthanized. Being prompt on this kind of day would have helped a lot. She then proceeded to to start the procedure after she gave us time, she administered the first injection which helps the dog relax. During this time. She went straight in her back and spinal area and in her notes she knew our pup was having seizures, after injecting her in the awful spot ( not the veins) my dog starting breathing hard and panicking and basically collapsed from exhaustion, during this period she then proceeded to to inject her again with an anti seizure injection and by this time my dog was already gone before she could even start the actual injection for the euthanasia. She proceed to inject the final injection through her veins I donāt recall her shaving the hair. She blew both her veins in both legs in the back, and then went towards the stomach to finalize everything. This was the most traumatic experience that I have ever witnessed. We were so shocked that we questioned her. Afterwards after the procedure, she didnāt even say sorry for our loss or anything. She then proceeded to tell us the wrong location of where our dog was going. I had to call a cremation service that she used, and they are the ones who told me where my dog was located. It was awful. We reached out to Kevin from Koda pet and he responded with a typical corporate email replying saying he is so sorry for our loss and we are currently thinking about you during this situation. We are heartbroken by the passing of our dog and it was a horrible experience.

Karen was a very welcome sight as we watched our cockapoo travel toward the rainbow bridge. Dr. Duncan asked to be addressed as Karen, and along with her warmth and compassion, she provided skill and professionalism in our neediest time. She eased both Storm and myself to a level of peace that allowed both of us to accept Stormās end of life. Thank you Karen for your love and compassion.
It's hard to talk about but this was a peaceful experience for her and us. Shelby seems to understand in a way that my other pets who weren't present did not. Heidi was devastated when we came home without her sister, Daphne. Here's the thing, at least in our experience, you can't really plan this so it was so helpful that Dr Murray had it planned out in a way that made everything go smoothly. He is incredibly kind and intuitive, he appreciates the bond that we had with her in a way that a clinic would not necessarily feel. We are incredibly grateful that he was able to come and help her and that she didn't have to wait and suffer or go through more trauma by having to get her into the car. My wife and I were very happy with the service provided by Dr. Marisel San Miguel. We had a thirteen year old lab that had been very healthy and active for his age. Over the time span of just a week or maybe ten days he began to loose control of his rear legs and back end. A trip to Auburn indicated that it was not an orthopedic problem but they could not tell us what was causing the issue. Along with becoming immobile without help to get up it appeared he was also beginning to have some pain and discomfort and he was declining rapidly. Rather than watch him suffer I decided it was time to say good bye. The at home euthanasia service was a great option for us and she was able to come on a Saturday afternoon. We will miss our Deets.

I don't normally ugly cry in front of people the first time I meet them, but Dr. Murray was a rock and a comfort on one of the worst nights of my life. He came as an emergency to help ease my 14 year old dogs pain. He was so kind and patient. He made sure we knew what was happening, what was going to happen, and what we needed to do after. I didn't have to worry about any of the specifics, or the arrangements, I was allowed to grieve my best friend without anything else weighing on my mind. That alone was priceless.

A decision like this is never easy. But each of us will likely deal with it at some point. Itās an experience that really has no upside. All we can hope for is a calm and peaceful end to a cherished petās life. Iāve had over a dozen pets in my 55 years. Dr. DuBose provided quite possibly the most respectful, calming and compassionate experiences of this type that Iāve ever been through. If you have to go through this, I would highly recommend her approach.
Doctor Kristi Thompson was so compassionate and understanding in our time of need. Her professional expertise in this field was much appreciated. She gave us all the time we needed during the process while keeping us informed during each step. I would give my highest recommendation to anyone in this most difficult situation to have her be a part of the process of making your cherished pet comfortable in passing on . Having Dr. Ayala assist our dear companion as she said goodbye to us provided a peaceful and comforting ending for both Sayde and my husband and me. We are especially grateful that Dr. Ayala practices at our veterinary clinic, as she already had all of Saydeās medical information and knows the staff members that had been involved in her care. The manner in which Dr. Ayala and her partner guided Sayde through this final transition was compassionate, sensitive, and deeply respectful. Dr. Lane Martin was the best person we could have had there to assist us in the difficult process of putting our girl Dixie to sleep. He was so patient and professional and knowledgeable, helping my family to stay calm during the event. And to recieve her ashes with the sweetest message meant so much to us. Losing our 18 year old dog Dallas was heartbreaking however, I am so glad that I chose to do at home euthanasia. It was a very peaceful experience - there was no anxiety from a car ride, no unfamiliar smells or sounds, etc. Dr. Clem is very kind and compassionate, she walked us through each step and gave us as much time as we needed with Dallas. Dr. Clem made a very difficult day a little easier and we are forever grateful for her.
I highly recommend at home euthanasia as opposed to an impersonal clinic experience. My first dog I ever had was put to sleep at a clinic and it was traumatic for me and my dog. On Friday Oct 24th we made the decision for my Quasiās eternal rest to be done at home surrounded by his pet parents and dog sister. Dr Sarah was like an angel in human form. She has such a calming nature and aura. She put all my apprehension immediately at ease. My dogs are usually high strung with constant barking once a stranger visits our home. With Dr Sarah, there was not constant barking. Quasi immediately went to her as she sat down. He even let her pet him. He has never done that ever with a stranger. Dr Sarah was knowledgeable and professional. She answered all my questions and listened to stories of Quasi. She never made us feel rushed or like she was on the clock. Such a pleasant and peaceful experience for us and Quasi. Quasi was not scared. He seemed at peace and it looked like he just drifted off to sleep. I canāt recommend Codapet and Dr Sarah Clem enough. When you are going through one of the hardest moments in your life, please consider this option. Dr Sarah was such a blessing for us during the difficult day.
