We decided to use CodaPet when it was time for us to make that decision for our sweet 14 year old St Bernard, Fiona. It was the best thing we could have done. Dr Jason Doolittle made sure the experience was peaceful and went at a pace we were comfortable with. He explained in detail everything that would happen and was very gentle with Fiona. Dr. Rob was incredibly kind— he came for an urgent appointment because my cat went downhill quickly over the weekend. He was patient, explained the process, gave our family time with her, and made the process as stress free as it could for my cat, which was my first priority. I had never considered in home euthanasia and now I feel I’ll always do it if possible because it minimized the fear in her last hours. Dr. Delia is truly one of the most amazing people I have ever met. She gave us peace of mind by answering all of our questions and throughly explaining what our baby girl was experiencing. We are so happy that our Mira was surrounded by love and comfort in her final moments.
Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful. Dr Karen is so very compassionate. She really listens and so caring. Dr. Karen has been to my home than a few times for my very loved fur babies. When it’s time I wouldn’t call anyone else. Not only is it more comfortable and less stress for my fur baby, it’s also so much more peaceful on me as well. It’s so very hard to make this decision and is heartbreaking. It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.
Very compassionate, explained everything thoroughly and patiently answered any questions. So thankful for this service. Sunday evening on Mother’s Day, we knew our dog was terminal, but started having seizures that morning. Dr. Murray provided emotional support at the time we needed it the most . My dog Lucy was 16 and , unfortunately, was dealing was dealing with illness that no longer was treatable. She was loosing weight and I just couldn’t bear a thought of driving her to office. I knew how scared she was of new smells and new people. I wanted her to be comfortable and loved in her last moments . I’ve heard about Dr. Murray from one of my patients and was able to schedule the same day visit. Although saying goodbye to a loved one is never easy, he made it a positive experience . I was able to be there for her during her last moments, just like she was always there for me for the past 16 years. Thank you , doctor!
I can't say enough fabulous things about Dr. Jessica Pruitt! It was a hard decision (as it always will be) when its time for our "buddies" to have to leave us:( but Dr. Jessica is so gentle and kind. She explains everything, is very patient and my Molly just warmed right up to her which made things even easier. I would highly recommend CodaPet and Dr. Bailey! Being able to make an appointment online within such a short notice was a blessing for our 15yr old girl, Jetta. Dr. Bailey was absolutely amazing!! She texted me a few hours before she came to the house and asked questions and answered all my questions. Doing that made me feel better about the process. Best decision ever. While my heart is broken, this option of a kind, gentle passing in our home, with no anxiety for my sweet girl was a blessing for both of us. Dr. Gibson was so sweet and compassionate. It is obvious she was born to do exactly this. Her respect for my baby was so comforting. I won't ever go a different route again.
Doing it at home was the best decision I could have made in such a terrible time. I wouldn’t do it any other way going forward. Dr. Murray was very caring and empathetic.
Dr Lydia was very helpful with getting Buster through his crossing. She is ver compassionate and understanding. We felt extremely comfortable with her. It was like we had know her for some time. Would highly recommend Dr Lydia for a pet parents that are facing the toughest decision about their pet.
Dr. Gordon performed the euthanasia for my sweet soul dog of 16 years. It was the most peaceful experience I could’ve asked for. She knew exactly what to say and created such a calm environment to spend our final moments together. I’m very grateful for her service.
Dr. April was an angel in a time of need for our beloved boy. With grace, compassion, and love when we had time to say goodbye. We were able to honor him and give him the peace he deserved and needed after a hard decision. Dr. April provided reassurance. No chaos of a vet office. Only love and kisses and pets. Highly recommend even though it's so hard to say goodbye.
Dr Mills was incredible. Compassionate, caring, patient, loving.... all the things you'd hope for in the situation. We've had other in-home euthanasia experiences, but this was the absolute best. We felt supported throughout, the communication was amazing. She explained the process and what she was doing when and why. I hope not to have to use her services again, but if we do, I'll be using Dr Mills. 15/5 would recommend
This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. Dr Anna was on time, very loving, caring and made us all feel at ease with going forward. She even brought a treat for him, and my very usually picky dog ate it! Dr. Lydia was an absolute angel. I couldn’t have imagined a better experience for a terrible time 😞 she was so compassionate and patient and loving and made the awful experience of loosing my soul dog as sweet as possible. I was able to schedule her within about a 3 to 4 hour window of arrival so my sweet girl wasn’t suffering more than necessary. She gave us plenty of time and space to say goodbye. When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr. Angela helped us through this very painful experience. Her empathy for us and her care for our loved pet made helped us all in more ways than we can express. Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Unfortunately, my elder dog Patience took a turn for the worse and I had to make the call that I dreaded. I had previously decided to have a vet come to the home for her passing. I didn’t want Patience trembling in fear at the vet’s office. Karen Whala arrived and she was wonderful. She took her time quietly explaining the process to me and my daughter as we cried. Patience passed peacefully in her favorite chair and I’m confident that she felt no pain thanks to Karen. Karen was the only good thing in a terrible day and I’m grateful.

We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.
Dr. Sara was very kind, compassionate, and patient and we are grateful for the gift of relief and peace she gave to our beloved Kitty in her final moments in the comfort of her own home. I can’t think of any way that Dr Sara could have made one of our hardest days any easier. Forever grateful that it was her who provided that service for us.

Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.

Dr. Derecka provided a kind and compassionate experience for us saying goodbye to our beloved family member. We decided to spend our last hours with him outside where he was happiest and calm. Dr Derecka arrived quietly, gently explained everything that was about to happen, and gave us as much time as we wanted before beginning the procedure. As overwhelmed and sad as we were, we are so glad that we let our beloved dog leave us calmly and comfortable in his familiar home surroundings with his family around him. I would highly recommend Dr Derecka, and as awful as it was to say goodbye, it was a far better and more comforting experience than taking him to the vet hospital (which was always somewhere he hated anyway!).
We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
Dr. Amanda Harper was the epitome of professionalism. She was kind and took her time with us and our dog. Smokey was relaxed and felt very loved, at home, with his family. I would never choose to do it differently if we were ever to be in that situation again. This service made a terrible situation as easy as it could ever be. My Buster meant everything to me , he was a huge part of my everyday routine. Even when I would leave on a few days trip which wasn’t often because he had. separation anxiety and he did not want me to leave him. I would call to check on him often . Dr Sarah Clem was amazing . Dr. Novik was the perfect choice for this..."event"? I had to schedule my appointment at 2:00am and chose her because she had appointments available in the afternoon the same day and offered the service of taking my cat's remains away and offering cremation services the same day. I was so nervous about everything but especially the parking out front of my apartment building but she was so kind and so understanding. She explained everything as she did it, nothing was scary, and offered us time after my cat had died to say goodbye. I think she wouldn't have been surprised if we'd. grieved much longer. I would highly recommend Dr. Novik and was glad that she was the one that happened to selected when I to say goodbye to one of the best friends I've ever had.

Dr. Torres was absolutely amazing. She was very patient and offered multiple options for each step of the process. She was super accommodating & very thoughtful. I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. And Dr. Lisa Feig more than meets that requirement. A million thanks to her and Coda Pet.
Dr. Katie was amazing! She handled everything so professionally yet personally too. Ruger will be so missed by many (as she can attest to, she said it was the biggest crowd she'd had, there were 9 of us) and I will never take my pets to a cold impersonal clinic to pass if I can help it. Having your pet pass at home where they're comfortable and familiar was such a blessing!

Dr. Meadows is a very compassionate person. I have had to have him euthanize two of my dogs within 8 months of each other. My second dog was a very nervous dog around people other than family. He came the day before to give me a sedative so that she would not be as fearful when he came the next day. I euthanize at home so that it won't be a stressful experience for my babies. Thanks to Dr. Meadows , he made a very difficut time as peaceful as possible. Dr. Meadows is fantastic.
Dr. Delia could not have been more compassionate in her work with me and my dog. Her presence, gentleness and pacing all contributed to a peaceful process at this heartbreaking time. Would recommend her to anyone facing the same situation.
The death of Boo Boo was devastating for me. And his condition deteriorated so rapidly we could not take him to the vet we have had for years - who was not available. My daughter and her wife used this service - a different vet with their dog who had ALS (yes, dogs get ALS) so we knew where to turn.We contacted them at 3:30 pm and they arrived as asked for at 7. We couldn't let BooBoo suffer any more. Dr Rebecca and her assistant were wonderfully compassionate, we got to hold BooBoo and say goodbye in our living room. They followed up by Delivering the pawprints and ashes. I could not ask for a more compassionate, loving farewell. I wish we treated people this well in their passing. Their kindness will Always be remembered and appreciated
Dr. Jen was wonderful at a very sad time. She was soft spoken and compassionate, slowly explaining every step in the process. She was sure that Mollie was comfortable with her and not subjected to any undo stress. For anyone who needs to make this very difficult for, I would highly suggest Dr. Jen and doing at home. It was so much less stressful for Mollie rather than loading her in the car and taking her to our local vet. Dr. Jen also took care of all of the aftercare for Mollie, which made it less stressful for us.
The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.
Kind and compassionate. Jaime made us feel comfortable throughout the process. She explained how it would be done, also went over the keepsakes available for my dog Precious. I would definitely recommend her to friends and family.
Dr Melissa Goldberg really made our experience the absolute best it could be. She is so very kind and understanding , also accommodating. I scheduled an appointment and realized our 15yr old dog Buck was needing help sooner than later. Dr Goldberg had already texted me not long after booking , so I had her number. I asked her advice on waiting until the next evening, which is when we scheduled for . She made arrangements to come to our home that night instead. So kind. She explains the whole process, no surprises It is absolutely the most love you can show your animal. Our guy laid on his favorite spot on the couch, our whole family was home in the room with the him. He was completely comfortable with Dr Goldberg immediately, as were we. It is not an awkward experience. She understands the assignment and acts with care and compassion and allows the family to do what they need to do without intrusion. He fell asleep in the most peaceful way I think I ever saw, it was oddly beautiful. It was so the right time I realized. I can say without hesitation it was perhaps the best decision I’ve ever made if you can appreciate that. The gravity of making this decision is almost unbearable. But having him home , in his spot , with his family- just drifting off ? Literally priceless. I’ve never been more comfortable with a purchase. And I thank her and the service from the bottom of my heart.
Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Thank you again for being so wonderful to our sweet baby.
Dr. Martin was amazing for such a sad time in our lives. He was very calm and patience during our grieving process of our little furry loved one. I would highly recommend to anyone unsure of euthanasia is the right thing to do and how comfortable he made us feel during the process.
Dr. Sarah Clem was extremely kind and transparent with the at home euthanasia process. I felt in the best hands during such a vulnerable and sad time. I’m very grateful for how my sweet girl was laid to rest in the most peaceful way after an incredible 18 years. Would highly recommend
