Cara was incredible at her job and full of peace and compassion. Just a few hours ago we had to say goodbye to a family friend’s dog. I was sad and nervous as to how the experience would go. I recently had to say goodbye to one of my pets, and I wanted to take a moment to share my gratitude for the incredible kindness and compassion shown by Dr Silvesti. From the moment she arrived, she brought with her a calming presence. She spoke to me softly, she moved gently and she was patient - absolutely nothing was rushed. She truly gave me the time and space I needed to say goodbye - in my own time. What meant the most was how she worked around me. I didn’t want to let go of my pet during the process, and she respected that fully, allowing me to hold my pet in my arms the entire time. She explained everything and never once did I feel pressured or uncomfortable. There was no sense of guilt, no judgment — only compassion and understanding at a time when I definitely needed it. We all too often turn the pain and hurt inward, looking for fault and taking the blame, but she didn’t let me do that to myself. I know I’m not alone in the heartbreak of losing a pet, and I know my experience is not more unique or more painful than anyone else’s, but it makes such a difference when someone takes the time to truly care. Dr.Thomas was extremely patient with this wish-washy dog mom. She took time to discuss with the family, and gave us time and space to make the final decision. She was extremely gentle with my Freckles, and made her passing calm and pain free.
Dr. Wasmoen is so calm and caring during a very difficult time. Our beloved 14 yr old dog had been recently diagnosed with diabetes and we made the decision not to treat. So, when the time came to have him put to sleep, I came in contact with Dr. Wasmoen through Coda-pet. She came to our home and was so kind and considerate of our feelings and even reassured me that it was the right thing to do. She explained everything that would happen very clearly before and while she was doing the procedure. We had as much time as we wanted to spend with him afterwards and she took him out in a basket wrapped in a blanket. Every step of the process was so well done. We received his paw print, some of his hair and later, his ashes. It was such a difficult time but she made it a peaceful ending to his wonderful life.
When we faced one of the most heartbreaking moments, having to say goodbye to our sweet Annie, we were incredibly grateful to have Dr. Lara by our side. I simply cannot imagine a more peaceful, supportive way to say goodbye to your pet. Our beloved hound was unable to stand on her last day and rather than pick her up and carry her to her vet (which would have been painful and confusing), we called Dr. Gordon who worked us in as soon as possible. She treated us and Sahara with dignity and respect and allowed us to say goodbye in the comfort of our home. Thank you for this invaluable service.
Codapet was exactly what we needed for our dog Buddy. I got references from my vet and checked them all out, but Codapet was what we decided with. I have not had in home euthanasia so I felt I was going in blind. Codapet had a very easy website to navigate, (because I couldn’t talk to anyone without crying) and I eventually spoke with a customer service rep after scheduling, and they were very understanding and patient. Then, the local doctor, Dr. White made sure to contact me beforehand and ask any questions about the appointment. Then, she was very informative and patient with us during the appointment. We were not rushed, and everything was at our pace as we said goodbye to our very good boy. She talked us through every step. Dr. White is a compassionate medical professional and truly understands what we were going through. I can’t recommend her enough, she’s absolutely amazing!
She was the angel that was meant for us, had some in the beginning when they helped me rescue Nevis from Nevis, but she was the one needed at the end, God bless her, ❤️

With very heavy heart I made an appointment with CodaPet (the only ones who had an appointment for the next day), and after I made the appointment with Dr. Stephanie Norman, she contacted me directly to let me know she will do anything she can if my dog declines fast overnight (my girl had lung cancer), and need her to come the previous night. She was very punctual, and so compassionate. Truly a person you like the first time you see. Very sweet, attentive, and so delicate with my girl. She was so caring, and kept checking on my girl until she was gone. She let me say goodbye as long as I needed, then the wrapped her so gently like you wrap a baby and we carried her to her car. It was like my girl was not even gone. I do not have enough words to express my gratitude for the way she helped me and my baby.
We really appreciated the end-of-life services of Dr. Angela De Villa and CodaPet. When our elderly cat, who had been in decline, suddenly took a sharp downturn and was clearly struggling, I was able to make a same-day appointment for at-home euthanasia with Dr. De Villa for the earliest time available. When she heard about our cat struggling, she texted me to move the appointment earlier. It was such a gift to be able to put him to sleep in our own home without additional stress. Dr. De Villa was thoughtful and empathetic, explaining each step in the process, and allowing us to determine when to proceed at each point. We're so grateful.
The process of losing our beloved dog was so incredibly hard. Dr Hsia was gentle, kind and comforting which made this experience as peaceful as possible. I have shared his information with all my family and friends so they have the same opportunity to say goodbye to their pet in the comfort of their own home. He also delivered her ashes back to me, we never had to drive anywhere. We can’t thank him enough for the support he provided us.
We had to make a very tough decision to send our beloved 15 year old Natty to dog heaven. Michelle made this a peaceful process. Because of Michelle we know Natty is in a peaceful place. She was very polite and understood our pain. I would recommend Michelle to anyone that has to go through this.
We were facing the agonizing experience pet owners face when our beloved Joey, a mixed breed rescue dog we had for over eight years. He was approximately 15 years old and his heart was giving out on him. I had searched in-home euthanasia on line and found CodaPet. Dr. Lori Schmalz came to our home to help us end Joey's suffering. Dr. Schmalz was calm, caring, and compassionate. She checked Joey's heart, and agreed with our vet that it was time to have Joey peacefully put to sleep. Dr Schmalz made this most difficult decision we make as pet parents as calming and peaceful as possible. We would highly recommend CodaPet, and Dr. Lori Schmalz to everyone who need to help their pet transition peacefully, not only for the pet but also for the loving "parents" of the the pet!

Being able to have this done at home was a huge relief since our dog hated going into the vet and we wanted her last moments to be as comfortable as possible for her. I'm glad Pebbles was able to be surrounded by her loved ones in the comfort of our home.

Dr. Jamie was timely and kindly respectful. She called the day before to answer all of our questions and address our concerns. She did not rush the process and waited outside for as long as my husband and I needed to finish saying our goodbyes to our cat Onyx, of seventeen years. Her services allowed all of us to handle this heartbreaking process in the comfort of our own home.

Dr. Jenny Krueger works with compassion, care, and patience. She is there both for the pet (in my case a very beloved Corgi) and the human. Having needed to euthanize pets both at the vet and at home, being able to do this at home makes a terrible experience so much calmer. Setting everything up through the CodaPet interface was very easy and the fact that the portal gives you options about what kind of follow up you do or do not want was very respectful. I could not recommend Dr. Krueger more highly; her gentle care at such a wrenching time helped to confirm that we were making absolutely the right choice.
She was very professional, caring, and sensitive. My elderly dog died before the scheduled afternoon euthanasia, so she came to my home during her lunch break to minimize my anguish. Her communications and actions were very comforting. I highly recommend her.
Care, compassion and empathy were in the forefront and every step of the way. This was such a hard decision to make after 15 years with our pup. Dr Dzierga was so respectful and compassionate in her assessment and through the process. We knew it was the right thing to do. We had another dog in our household for 13 years and it was important to us that she understood was happening too. While I wish this on no one, if you find yourself needing these services, I recommend Dr Dzierga with the highest regards.
Dr Duncan (Karen) was an outstanding and extremely caring person. She arrived on schedule but more importantly she was exceptionally gentle with Kobe and over the top compassionate. Kobe was an extremely loved dog who we were permitted to have in our lives for 15+ years. The house is now empty, and our normal routines are confusing for us, but we know that Kobe is in a place of rest and thanks Karen he will continue to rest peacefully. My Little Guy was so very sick. He did manage to crawl out of his bed during his last night and snuggle next to me. He could barely walk, but when Dr. Martin came he did rally for one last snarl. He hated the vet. The only thing he hated more than the vet, was the vet’s clinic. I’m so grateful we didn’t have to take him there. He was able to take his last breath in his own bed surrounded by the people who loved him. Thank you to Dr. Martin for witnessing our grief and guiding us through our last goodbye.

I found CodaPet and Dr. Jenny Krueger when searching for in home pet euthanasia services for my 13 year old pup. Her health declined very rapidly and our regular vet did not have any available appointments. I was very lucky to come across Dr. Krueger's page that morning and get an appointment the same day in the afternoon. This was my first time having to go through this and she did her best to comfort us by asking stories about Izzy and letting us know what to expect with each step. We were able to make our girl comfortable in her favorite place in the house where she got a plate of canned cheese and hershey's kisses. She helped me get paw and nose prints with a kit I had bought earlier that week and she let us spend all the time we needed to say goodbye. Thank you again for taking care of Izzy and helping her rest peacefully surrounded by her family.
Dr Daniella Ross helped me through an incredibly difficult time with a calm, serene energy that put myself and my beloved companion of thirteen years at complete ease. How do you say goodbye to one of the most beautiful and gentle companions to ever grace our home? The decision was wrenching, but our sweet Sassy was telling us it was time. An angel was sent to us at one of the most emotional and confusing times of our lives. That angel was Dr. Amanda Harper. We knew Sassy (and me and my wife) were in the hands of a compassionate, caring and loving professional. Dr. Harper knew in her heart the difficulty of us having to say goodbye to our beloved Sassy, and her calming and patient support gave us a quiet in our hearts as our ailing Sassy gently left us. When Dr Phillips came in, Lucy was so happy that some one new had come to visit and pet her. She was completely relaxed. I appreciate that I didn’t have to force my cat 5into a carrier and fill her last hours with fear. Phillips was wonderful with Lucy and so very kind and supportive of my decision.
My girl Molli was 16 this past June and when she took a turn for the worse I reached out to Peaceful Passing/Coda Pet for help. While her appointment was scheduled for a few days later, Dr. Whala was able to come sooner - this allowed Molli not to be in pain or any discomfort for any longer than needed. The whole process was amazing and left me knowing that it was the best outcome for Molli. There was no rush, no judgement, no criticizing - just compassion and understanding. We were given time to be with Molli through the entire process. We also chose to have Molli cremated and wanted her ashes back. I was expecting to get a call to go pick up those ashes but instead I was greeted by an individual at my house that hand delivered Molli back to me. Unbelievable service from beginning to start - I would not do it any different.
As difficult an experience as our in-home euthanasia appointment was, CodaPet was compassionate and helpful throughout the entire process, and relieved the stress around the logistical and administrative part of saying goodbye to a pet and friend. There are not enough positive words to say about Dr. Larsen. She was highly communicative and available leading up to the appointment, arrived on time, and handled the business side of things in a very respectful and professional manner. Her bedside manner and attentiveness to our feelings and wishes were top-shelf. She handled our pet with care, empathy, and respect, which was greatly appreciated. Dr. Larsen definitely made this a little more bearable, and we are grateful for her compassion and professionalism.

Dr. Harper is a gift! She has the sweetest soul and I could not have imagined another person helping our little Buddy find a soft landing. Buddy loved his cotton blankets, he used the puffs to shield his eyes from sunlight as he napped in his senior years. She was Buddy's blanket as he crossed over, she shielded him from suffering. When we found out that our dog Hercules was diagnosed with Lymphoma and given only weeks to live, we were devastated! He was only 4 years old and was such a good dog. I was terrified of the idea of euthanizing my baby. I couldn't imagine that my dog's last moment was going to be at the Vet's office. A friend of mine told me about in-home pet euthanasia and explained every detail of their experience. Although our hearts were torn, we decided that not only was it the best service for our family, but it was also the best for Hercules. Everything was explained so well, step by step, in a manner in which our children were comfortable with saying goodbye to their friend at home. Each last moment that was spent with him was filled with sadness, joy, and hope. We were honored to be there for him as he transitioned. Although we were sad to let him go, we were happy that he met a peaceful and dignified end. We decided to have Herculese cremated and brought back home. I received a beautiful urn and my fur baby will be at home with me forever. I highly recommend Dr Briell Dzierga at CodaPet!
Daniela from CodaPet was wonderful during what was a hard time for our family. She was professional and showed knowledge of pet wellness and illness, further reassuring us of the decision we made. Putting your loved family pet down is never an easy decision, but she helped us feel confident it was the right call for Lexi who was beginning to suffer with age. Dr. Lisa Fieg took the time to immediately call me and discuss my pet's case when I made an urgent request online. She was willing to quickly drive to see us, but ultimately I needed to wait for my wife to come home from work, and we used another service who could come in the evening. I appreciated her informative and compassionate consultation, and it helped me get through a very hard day.
Dr Lisa was absolutely amazing with our sweet Luna as well as with us and the kids. Saying goodbye to your best friend is never easy. Josh was sweet and loving and made our precious yellow Labrador, Toby’s last moments on this side of eternity much more comfortable. He was extremely respectful and understanding. Truly a wonderful human being.
Dr. Briell Dzierga is an angel. We had to say goodbye to our sweet 20yr old kitty, Belle, two weeks ago. Dr. Dzierga was more amazing and wonderful than I could have wished for. I can't even put into words. She did not rush us during the process. It was a peaceful process. We are still grieving but Dr. Dzierga was the most caring person I've ever met and, when it comes time for our other senior kitties, I will be calling Dr. Dzierga.

Dr. Daniella Lutri is an Angel! I contacted her last Sunday at about 11am as we decided that morning that it was time for our Ginger girl to be euthanized. Dr. Lutri worked us into her schedule and was at our home by 4pm. She walked us through exactly what she was going to do and how we might have our other dog nearby to help her understand what was going on. Dr. Lutri took her time at each step explaining how our Ginger might react and gave us the opportunity to give her lots of love (and treats!) to help distract her and make it as easy as possible for all of us. Our Ginger girl passed in the most peaceful way laying in her bed with us around her. She felt no pain. It was by far the best way we could have ever hoped for our girl to go. We are SO GRATEFUL to Dr. Lutri. She was amazing at every step. I hope I don’t have to see her for a while but I will not hesitate to call her again when needed. Thank you so much!
Jessi did an amazing job helping us schedule our appointment. She helped make a very overwhelming task such a breeze. Communication was above and beyond from the scheduling till before and after our visit with Dr. Murray. I can’t express enough praise and gratitude for how kind and amazing Dr. Murray was in helping our Axel boy crossover the rainbow bridge. I have been blown away by how peaceful Axel was able to pass away licking peanut butter, enjoy his favorite treat. I highly recommend everyone to give their beloved pet this final gift of a smooth transition.

It was Dr. Sarah Clem coming into our home, letting me provide the last loving thing I could do for my little Peanut Buddy. She understood the moments belonged to Buddy and me. She provided a gentle loving hand to both of us throughout. Nothing takes away the pain of saying a last goodbye. The hollow in the house now is wrenching. Utterly. But having those final moments in the comfort and privacy of home allowed the experience to be completely personal to our life together.

Dr. Hundley was very compassionate and supportive. We were glad that Sully was able to be at home in a comfortable and familiar space surrounded by those who loved him. We were very emotional but we knew it was the right thing to do. Dr.Hundley talked to us and Sully as he was crossing the rainbow bridge. She explained everything ahead of time and gave us time to make our own decision. She thought to ask if he had a favorite toy that he could take with him (which happened to be a tissue box - he is a boxer) and we sent him with his new blanket. She discussed private and group cremation, getting a paw print, clay print, or a Styrofoam print, and she thought to clip some of his soft fur from different spots with his different colors. I would highly recommend this service and Dr. Hundley for anyone who has to face this difficult decision.

In home pet euthanasia, This being my first time with my own pet, I was very apprehensive about going to a traditional vet for this experience. As weird as it is to say given the circumstances, I could not have asked for more when working with Dr. Stephanie. Her ability to be compassionate, empathetic, yet still professional was amazing. She walked me through the whole process, while giving me as much time as I needed to process all that was about to happen. She was able to relieve all of the self doubt I had about coming to the decision in the first place. Having helped other family members go through this in a standard veterinary clinic, I couldn't more strongly recommend doing this at home, in the comfort and familiarity of your place. Dr. Stephanie thank you so much for making a horrible circumstance as calm, peaceful, and timely as possible.

Dr. Hsia is the BEST! He is very understanding and caring and you can tell he loves animals! My 2 year old English Bulldog was suffering from some Neuro issues and had some aggression he was dealing with. It was such a difficult decision to have to put our Cody down for Behavioral Euthanasia. We knew he was not living his best life and he knew it also. We did not want him to suffer any longer. After months of training, medications, holistic approaches and much more we gave tried nothing seemed to work for him. We contacted Dr. Hsia’s office and from his team to the doctor we made the right decision. He did not even suffer one bit through the process. We never would want to call him again, but I definitely recommend him 100%! Thanh you again Dr. Gary for helping Cody! We cannot thank you enough!
In home pet euthanasia is so much less stressful for your pet and yourself. Dr. Lisa Littlejohn did an outstanding job in comforting us and administering pain medicine. In our case once the pain medicine was administered our sweet baby Rufus passed quickly. We were able to have Rufus outside in his favorite spot laying in the grass. We sat with him in the grass and she administed the pain medicine. He passed peacefully right there with us loving on him. She gave us time with him alone then brought a basket to place him in. She took him to be cremated and will contact us when his ashes are ready to be picked up. I would highly recommend this experience over taking your furry family member to the vet clinic.
Dr. Keri provided us the best service for the worst day. The gentleness of her services and understanding of explaining everything to my kids was so helpful. Everything was thought of, nothing I would have changed. If we ever need this service again, this is who we will call.
They are amazing! My baby was only 6 years old. And he was poisoned only the poison didn’t take him right away it was slow and we didn’t know what was happening to him . He just lost himself he was no longer the dog we knew he became almost like mentally challenged and senile at the same time . I brought him to the vet and the blood work came back clear. So for a couple months he went from just acting mentally challenged but still eating drinking and walking on his Owen still trying to play but being kind of aggressive to not walking or eating on his Owen to potting in the kennel and the house vertigo really bad and I had had enough I couldn’t get him in the car he started having seizures and I didn’t want him to be scared but it was time. I wanted him free of whatever this was that took my baby. Dr. Vosburg was so patient and gentle and she came to the house no judgment at all just kind and compassionate she went slow and at his side she gave him the sleep meds let us love on him and then sent him on his way to freedom . My heart is never gonna be the same after having that bundle of energy that loving adorable baby in my life , and even though I wasn’t supposed to be sending him off yet , as sudden as it was , having him sent off that way was perfect and I felt ok sending him with her. They are just amazing people and I’ll forever call on them when I need to. Thank y’all so much.

I am so grateful that we chose Dr. Marlene Anschultz for the very difficult decision for our beautiful Luna. She was extraordinarily caring and did not rush us. She gave us time to be with her, and to allow our other dog to see and understand. Dr. Marlene Anschultz not only saw to Luna's comfort to this time, but really ours as well. I have made this decision many times in my life, and in my young years, I worked for a veterinarian and was present when others had to make this choice as well. This is never easy, but this experience was one of the most peaceful I have been able to experience because we were able to do it at home and Dr.. Anschultz' calming presence helped us through. I will forever be grateful to her--and I truly will never forget her kindness.
It seems an odd thing to give 5 stars for an in home pet euthanasia service. But, from the care of the phone call and the event itself...it felt like another member of our family was helping us through this terrible time and celebration of our small dog's life. Ava dog was 15.5 when she passed and suddenly in a lot of pain. Dr. Megan Lowman opened up and added a 9pm appointment to her schedule to help our sweet Ava in her time of need. She was careful, caring, loving, soft spoken, informative, and patient. The back of her van was set up like a small, clean and beautiful little bed... to take our baby girl to In Memorial Pet Cremation Services (also, 5 stars...I can't say enough kind words) . She was attentive and must have listened to all of the emotional stories and nonsense I was saying...because she sent a detailed and very personal card a few days later that mentioned our family members' names and even personal details about Ava's life. Thank you, Dr. Lowman and the wonderfully caring customer service at CodaPet for making this transition as caring and loving as possible.
Dr. Beth was so kind and compassionate and really helped all of us as we were navigating Piper's last moments. She allowed us to be with her and comfort her and was so kind to our other pup who was with us saying goodbye to her best friend. I know that Dr. Beth helped Piper feel safe as she loved on us for the last time. Thank you Dr. Beth and thank you CodaPet.
Dr. Krueger was excellent! She was nice and respectful. She asked about our girl, Daisy, and our life with her. She interacted with Daisy and was a calming influence. She answered all of our questions and walked us thru every step of the way. She gave us the space we needed to grieve as a family. Dr. Krueger helped make a very sad, emotional, devastating experience as calm, serene, and beautiful as possible. We cannot ever say enough about Dr. Krueger to do her justice.
Dr. Anna did a wonderful job. She had a very gentle way with Samantha, my baby of 14 years. She stroked her and talked to her. Gently wrapped her in the blanket that had been hers and mine when she sat in my lap. SamE was a 65 pound lap dog for 12 of her 14 years. She was a lap dog until she could no longer climb into my lap. Dr. Anna listened to me babble and gave me Kleenex for my tears. I could not have asked for a more gentle passing for our baby. Anyone who uses Dr. Anna’s services would be very pleased.
She was kind and patient and took her time with my wife. That was really heartbroken. Explain things to her what was gonna happen even though I know what was gonna happen so she was very excellent.
