One part of my job that I felt was not done as well as it could be was helping pets at the end of their lives. In clinics, it can feel rushed because we need to move on to the next appointment and the process was not always smooth or comfortable for the pet or for their family, although I tried hard to make it so. I was able to offer in-home euthanasia services to pets on occasion, which was a much better experience for all involved. The opportunity to focus on helping pets in their own homes during such a difficult time is something I am so thankful to have. I have completed several courses in helping families with their pets' end-of-life care and have completed coursework to receive CPEV (Certified Peaceful Euthanasia Provider) certification through CAETA (Companion Animal Euthanasia Training Academy). Through continuing education and shared experiences with other care providers, I am always trying to learn better techniques to help these special family members. My husband and I are empty-nesters, and we share our home with our long-haired cat, Peanut. When I am not tending to our furry housemate, I enjoy reading, needlework, serving in our local church, and hiking, sailing, and traveling with my husband.

Dr. Mary was great. She was warm, kind, empathetic and professional. We felt very at peace with the whole process. She made a very difficult experience a little more bearable . She reassured us that this was the right decision and helped us through the whole process. Thank you Dr. Mary for helping us give Layla a peaceful goodbye in the comfort of our home.
Mary is a compassionate person and vet. She made an extremely difficult time more peaceful. Our final moments with our lovely dog Leia were a blessing thanks to Mary who understood and offered her kindness and support.
Dr. Mary Juber was caring, kind, and respectful. She was patient and explained every step along the way. We were able to surround our Bella as she peacefully passed in the comfort of our home. We are very grateful to have found Dr. Juber.
Dr. Mary was increadible in helping us feel comfortable during such a difficult time. She was so kind, helpful and gentle in explaining each step of her process. I can confidently say our sweet boy felt that compassion and love right up until the end, she made him feel so comfortable! At the end, she was respectful to give us the time and space we needed - without exchanging any words. I would highly recommend her at-home euthanasia services when the unfortunate time comes for you and your sweet pet 💗
Dr Juber was incredibly kind, thoughtful and compassionate. She answered all of our questions and explained the process clearly. She let us make decisions through each step as we said goodbye peacefully to our beloved cat, Olivia. It takes a special kind of person to do this work, we were lucky to find Dr Juber to help us with this heartbreaking situation.
Dr. Mary was wonderful to work with throughout this process. She brought me so much comfort during the last moments of my dog's life. She kindly explained the entire process and patiently helped us help our dog during his last moments. It was a blessing for her to come and for us to be able to do it outside in his favorite spot.
