About
Meet Dr. Jan Winderl, DVM, a highly experienced veterinarian with 38 years of veterinary services experience. She works with various types of animals, including Canine, Feline, Small Mammals, Rabbits, Equine, Poultry, Avian, Ovine, and Caprine. Ever since she can remember, she wanted to be a veterinarian, and her love for all animals felt like a calling. She pursued her DVM degree from CSU in 1980 and an undergraduate degree in Veterinary Science from ASU and CSU in 1976.
Having practiced equine medicine in Cave Creek, Arizona, for many years, she eventually moved to Montana, where she contributed to the community through spay/neuter clinics and teaching Equine Studies at UWestern. Driven by her respect for the uniqueness of each animal, she is dedicated to making their last days as comfortable as possible and providing a peaceful passing for both the pets and their owners.
In her personal life, Dr. Winderl finds joy in working with dogs and her own horse. She used to event a draft mule named George, but he has passed away, leaving her with cherished memories. Her home is filled with six Bernese Mountain Dogs and a large, spoiled spotted half-draft horse. If you too have a dog car with canine nasal art on the windows, you'll understand how she lives her life surrounded by her beloved pets.
For pet owners seeking in-home pet euthanasia, Dr. Jan Winderl, DVM, stands as a compassionate and experienced choice. She will provide the utmost care and support during those tender moments, ensuring a peaceful farewell for your beloved furry family members.
