Dr. Lauren came to our home when we sent out an urgent request when everything was booked up. This was our first at home euthanasia experience, and my husband's first true loss of a beloved pet. Lauren was calm, comforting, and kind. She explained everything clearly and gently. She was sensitive to where my husband and I each were emotionally, and most importantly, she was very gentle with our sweet boy, a 12 year old Siberian cat named Buddy, declining dramatically from kidney disease. He went quickly and peacefully. It was a huge comfort and relief. He had been suffering. Lauren made sure we were okay before she left, and even followed up later in the day, especially confirming whether or not we wanted some of his fur included with our private cremation (we had said no, but decided we did - so glad she asked again). We would recommend CodaPets, and especially Dr. Lauren, to anyone who wanted an at-home experience. I would seek her out specifically again.

5.0May 07 2026 by Sarah Barry From the very second Dr. Norman walked into the apartment, we were put at ease during the very difficult and devastating situation we were going through. The decision to have an at home crossing of the rainbow for our dog was such a hard experience to begin with, and Dr. Norman made the whole experience glide as peacefully and lovingly and humanely as we could have ever wished. She was extremely informative and professional, and at the same time seamlessly made us smile and talk about the good days and wonderful memories as she walked us through the experience in the best way possible. We highly recommend Dr. Norman if you are faced with the sad circumstance of your pup needing to pass away. She will make it be as smooth a process as you could ever wish in that moment. Thank you Dr. Norman so much for your expertise and kindness and just amazing professionalism and empathy.

5.0May 10 2026 by Stephanie B Sara was calm, kind, and attentive to our grief. I'm so glad I decided to go with in-home and Sara was a big part of being happy with that decision.

5.0Sep 01 2025 by Cathy C. A very wonderful caring , warm and compassionate Dr Sara Gardhouse was the right person in my life to take care of my needs when it came to the final day of Rex’s life here on earth. She was accommodating to where I wanted. Rex euthanized . That to me was the greatest gift of all. Even though it rained all day, we went forward, so Rex wouldn’t suffer anymore.
She answered questions I had after the procedure, when I was overwhelmed with heartbreak and grief, stating she was there for me if I needed.
Dr. Sara Gardhouse, I can’t say enough how grateful I had her by our side, it was comforting.
I would recommend her to anyone that needs in-home or out of home euthanasia. You’re in the best care with this great doctor..
thank you

5.0Oct 07 2025 by Vilma M. Terrible that we had to do this but the service was well worth the cost to make sure our poor kitty was as comfortable as possible in her final moments. Dr. Patterson was right on time, explained everything well, and gave us time to grieve.

5.0May 09 2026 by Alex Race Dr. Sara was absolutely wonderful. She was very thoughtful and kind throughout the process and her follow up afterwards was very touching. Highly recommend Dr. Sara if ever needed.
Dr.Sara was very polite and had a very warm energy. She came to my house on one of the hardest days of my life and she was gentle and her tone was very low and soft. She made sure we were all comfortable during the whole process and made us feel heard and seen. She was very professional and made sure to explain everything step by step. She was so gentle when she left the house with my baby. Thank you so much for being there and helping us get through a very difficult time.

5.0Jan 29 2026 by Ashley B. This was the best possible experience I could have had with having to put down my 15 year old cat and wanted to take a moment to thank Dr. Natasha Novik and CodaPet for this service. I woke up at 2am on 5/5 and had to make a hard decision. In my case, I was able to schedule an appointment that same day with appointments as early as 8:00am, the prices are very clearly listed and depending on the vet it will list whether they offer cremation services, etc. The website was extremely easy to use and the instructions were very straight forward...so naturally I expected something to go wrong :) . Nothing did.
Natasha was extremely kind and took me through the entire process slowly and with care and my friend passed away comfortable and at home. She asked anytime she needed to move or manipulate him and explained why she was doing things as well as possible consequences or reactions to prepare. She allowed us to take all the time we needed before respectfully and gently taking him away.
If the timing is right and you are able I would highly recommend this service.

5.0May 08 2026 by Sue Thurston Dr Lori Schmalz at CodaPet is an Angel. She was recommended by our vet for our difficult situation of saying goodbye to our Beloved BJ. She came to our home during a snow storm and helped us say goodbye with love and dignity and compassion. She offers respect and space for the last goodbye. I can't believe how wonderful she is in such a sad time. In-home pet euthanasia was such a sweet and personal goodbye with BJ. Her attention to the detail of our relationship was wonderful. Thank You Dr Lori for your heartfelt help on one of the saddest days of our lives. Sincerely, Tommy & Cheryl Tittsworth

5.0May 10 2026 by Tommy Tittsworth We couldn't have been more blessed to have such a compassionate and caring person to help us through such a sad time. We've had to help a lot of pets cross the rainbow bridge over the years and Dr. Mary absolutely made this the best experience we could have hoped for. He passed in peace and comfort and it was all thanks to her, we would highly recommend.

5.0Aug 26 2025 by Nicole C. Dr. DiGenova was very kind and respectful and gentle with our boy. My parents were really reluctant in having him put to sleep but after seeing how careful Dr. DiGenova was and how peaceful he was at the end they truly believed they made the right decision. I can’t thank her enough. After when he was ready to come home from the cremation Dr. DiGenova brought him back home to us. Thank You!

5.0May 09 2026 by Shoko Nakamura Dr. Gardhouse was very kind and compassionate throughout the entire process. Nothing could have made the day easier, but Dr. Gardhouse gave us all the time that we needed and to say our goodbyes and walked us through every step. We felt relieved knowing our Uno passed surrounded at home with a big belly full of salmon, surrounded by her loved ones and without pain.

5.0Sep 09 2025 by Lindsey E. I had to make the painful decision of putting my dog, Luna, down, and wanted to do it at home. Not only was the price fair, but Dr. Gardhouse was amazing. She came earlier than the scheduled arrival time, had a very calm and caring demeanor, and answered all questions. She worked at my pace and enjoyed watching us give my girl a last meal of chicken nuggets, popcorn, and chocolate chips cookies. This decision was not easy, but Dr. Gardhouse was the perfect provider to use. She took great care of my girl and even sent a follow up card in the mail sending her regards. Could not recommend her enough, there’s a special place for humans like her that do this work?

5.0Oct 09 2025 by Valarie A. Our Puggle, Peanut, was 16 years old and was struggling. She appeared to be in pain and discomfort, and many of the things she once enjoyed in life she could no longer do. We knew it was time to make the difficult decision of quality over quantity.
I did not want her end-of-life experience to be traumatic with a stressful vet visit in a cold, scary office on a metal table, something I still remembered from putting down my childhood dog. I began searching for in home pet euthanasia services and found Dr. Sims online. The booking process was seamless. She called to talk beforehand and sent such a graceful and comforting confirmation message the night before.
The day of the appointment, she arrived on time, explained everything clearly, and immediately made us feel confident that she was there to help relieve our poor girl’s suffering. Honestly, I could not have asked for a better end-of-life experience for Peanut.
Peanut was so comfortable and peaceful, lying in her own bed surrounded by love, like she was finally getting the rest she needed. She never flinched or yelped, she simply drifted peacefully to sleep in the comfort of her home.
We truly could not have asked for a more dignified, compassionate, and peaceful ending for our beloved family member. I am forever grateful for the kindness and care we received during such a heartbreaking time.

5.0May 08 2026 by Ashley Brown Dr. Sara was so kind and caring. She was patient and understanding. She recognized our need to just “be” with our sweet Jack a little while longer. She showed tons of love for Lil Jack. She gave us a safe space to “ugly cry” as we helped our sweet boy cross the rainbow bridge.
Thank you, Dr. Sara for helping make one of the most painful things we’ve ever had to do hurt just a little less with your love and compassion for “furbabies” & their humans!

5.0Jan 30 2026 by Brendan E. My wife and I have had many pets over the years and this was our first time using the services of CodaPet - At Home Pet Euthanasia. I contacted them, as our 17 year old cat, Maizy, was nearing the end of her life. We did not want her to experience any of the trauma assiciated with transporting her to a veterinary clinic or being frightened by other pets that may have been present. The CodaPet representative was very compassionate, understanding, and quickly set us up with an in-home appointment with Dr. Jenny Krueger. Dr. Krueger arrived promptly at the scheduled time, and from the moment she arrived her kindness and compassion were quite evident. She took her time explaining the process to us and ensured Maizy was in her most comfortable spot, which was always lying on my chest. Dr. Krueger was extremely proficient and carried out Maizy's transition in a seamless and very peaceful manner. She then patiently sat with us while we spent our final moments with Maizy.
We are so very grateful and pleased with the services provided by CodaPet and Dr. Krueger, and we HIGHLY recommend them to any pet owner in a similar situation. Thank you.

5.0May 09 2026 by William Pabst We had to euthanize our beloved cat Phoebe just a month after moving to a new town and I'm so grateful to have found CodaPet and Dr. Mary Juber. The entire process was gentle and respectful and Dr. Mary took great care to ensure Phoebe's comfort. As a cat rescue family, we have cared for many sick and elderly cats and an in-home euthanasia is always the last gift we give them if at all possible. Thank you to CodaPet and to Dr. Mary for making this possible for Phoebe.
