Why I provide at-home pet euthanasia

I have loved animals from the time I can remember and pursuing veterinary medicine meant that I got to spend every day with the animals I love and helping them from all avenues. In my many years as a veterinarian, I deeply understand the challenges of treating critically ill patients and the nuances of end-of-life care. I am honored to help pets pass away peacefully in the comfort of their home and with their loving family at their side.

What pet parents are saying

Dr. Sara was so kind and caring. She was patient and understanding. She recognized our need to just “be” with our sweet Jack a little while longer. She showed tons of love for Lil Jack. She gave us a safe space to “ugly cry” as we helped our sweet boy cross the rainbow bridge. Thank you, Dr. Sara for helping make one of the most painful things we’ve ever had to do hurt just a little less with your love and compassion for “furbabies” & their humans!

Dr. Gardhouse was the perfect person to help my buddy/best friend make his transition. She was able to create and hold loving space for our intense emotions while we had to say our final goodbyes. Everything was done in the most loving way and I could not have asked for anything more during those difficult times.

Dr. Sara was very supportive. We have lost two older dogs in less than a year. Always a difficult decision. Having this service at home was less stressful on our pets. Thank you for your support.

Dr. Sara recently helped us say goodbye to our sweet girl cat. It was such a hard time for us and she was very mindful of that. We are grateful to have done this at home and the service she provides is beyond appreciated. The compassion and empathy she shows means a lot. The Cremation company used was great and respectful. Chloe was home within 8 days. We highly recommend this company and Dr.Sara.
