Meet Dr. Kristi Thompson, a compassionate veterinarian dedicated to providing in-home pet euthanasia services. Born in Tennessee and raised in North Carolina and overseas, Dr. Thompson returned to Clarksville after earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. She spent five fulfilling years at a mixed animal private practice in Dover, TN, before deciding to focus on her family and join Codapet's mission. Dr. Thompson lives with her supportive husband, Stephen, their three wonderful children, three dogs—Gage, Imogen, and Buddy—and an aquarium full of fish. Combining her love of medicine and agriculture, Dr. Thompson found her calling in veterinary medicine. During her time in private practice, she discovered a deep empathy for families facing end-of-life decisions for their pets. Performing in-home euthanasias, she realized the significance of providing a peaceful and dignified passing for pets in their own homes. Understanding firsthand the importance of a calm, familiar setting during such moments, Dr. Thompson is excited to offer this compassionate service to the Clarksville and surrounding areas. When she's not caring for pets, Dr. Thompson homeschools her children, exploring the outdoors, creating art projects, and reading Little House on the Prairie books together. Active in their church community, they cherish their family time. In her rare moments of free time, Dr. Thompson enjoys reading and watching television. Dedicated to offering the final gift of a peaceful passing, Dr. Thompson is privileged to serve the Clarksville area with her in-home pet euthanasia services.
