Why I provide at-home pet euthanasia

In general practice, I always gravitated toward end of life care for pets and their families as she felt it was important to provide a peaceful experience for pets and their parents. I believe that in-home euthanasia creates a calm and comforting environment for pets and their families as they say goodbye to their life-long companions.

What pet parents are saying

Dr. Harper was possibly one of the most compassionate and gentle vets we have ever known. She made a very difficult appointment as beatiful and peaceful as it could have possibly been. I sympathized with her difficult duties with clients she had never met and never been to their home. She handled it all beautifully.

Dr. Harper made the euthanization of our sweet kitty a peaceful experience. Snickerdoodle (and the 2 of us) didn't have to go through the trauma of being put in a carrier and having a long car ride to the vet clinic, a place that terrified him.

During the most heartbreaking time as a pet owner, I'm beyond grateful that our experience felt like we were honoring our pup. Dr. Harper was so loving and caring for the experience, our pace, and our girl.

Amanda was so amazing during this difficult experience. If you are struggling with the decision I highly recommend her. She took time with us and our sweet Ace.

I'm so glad I picked the in-home option. It was a lot less stressful than taking her to the vet. Amanda was great! She walked us through the process beforehand and made it as painless as possible.
