Why I provide at-home pet euthanasia

In general practice, I always gravitated toward end of life care for pets and their families as she felt it was important to provide a peaceful experience for pets and their parents. I believe that in-home euthanasia creates a calm and comforting environment for pets and their families as they say goodbye to their life-long companions.

Our experience with Dr. Amanda Harper was wonderful. She has the kindest heart and made sure we were ready and went over everything that she was doing. We are so grateful for her service and how well she took care of our dog and us during his last moment.

Dr. Amanda made a hard moment so much easier for us. She was so kind and loving and empathetic throughout the whole process and treated our little guy with such care. He wasn’t scared at all in his last moments.

"Dr. Harper has one of the kindest souls of anyone I’ve met. She helped carry my family through this experience, all while being informative and so respectful of our sweet pup. I could never repay her for the gift of the calm, peaceful send off for a most special and beloved member of our family. It was what he deserved and she was amazing."

I am grateful for Dr. Amanda Harper's compassion and assistance during one of the most emotional moments of our lives. We had to say goodbye to our precious old doggy girl recently and even though it was incredibly hard we were so grateful for Dr Harper's sweet understanding approach as we said goodbye.

Dr. Harper made the euthanization of our sweet kitty a peaceful experience. Snickerdoodle (and the 2 of us) didn't have to go through the trauma of being put in a carrier and having a long car ride to the vet clinic, a place that terrified him.

Dr. Harper is a gift! She has the sweetest soul and I could not have imagined another person helping our little Buddy find a soft landing. Buddy loved his cotton blankets, he used the puffs to shield his eyes from sunlight as he napped in his senior years. She was Buddy's blanket as he crossed over, she shielded him from suffering. We gave her that blanket to take with her, we will never forget her! -May god keep watch over the angels among us. Love the Morrison's
