FAQs

The total cost includes the in-home pet euthanasia service fee, any travel fee (if any apply), and a platform fee. Additionally, depending on your choice, fees may apply for cremation services or keepsakes.

During your appointment, your vet will confirm your aftercare selection with you. If you choose to arrange cremation services, your vet will oversee your pet’s transportation to a local facility for cremation. If your preferred cremation option includes the return of your pet’s ashes to you, your vet will discuss the process to reunite you with your pet's ashes and the anticipated time frame during your appointment

Yes, upon arrival the veterinarian will assess your pet. This can look different than an “nose to tail” examination in a clinic setting and will focus more on the pet’s history and quality of life.

It is not uncommon to have doubts about whether the time is right. If you’ve taken the Quality of Life Questionnaire and are still unsure, we recommend consulting with your family veterinarian before scheduling an appointment.

Rest assured, if you book an appointment, your in-home euthanasia veterinarian will let you know if they do not believe that euthanasia is appropriate at this time.

You can expect your veterinarian to be in your home from 20-60 minutes, depending on how much of that time you need or want throughout the process.

Although the circumstance was very difficult, Dr. Kellie was kind, professional, and compassionate. We could not have asked for a more peaceful or detail-oriented experience. Thank you, Dr. Kellie, for being there for us and our beloved Scout on this very hard day.

Dr. DuBose is an angel. She arrived at our house an hour after we called her, and gave comfort to our dog and us. She helped us greatly when we needed help the most. Highly recommended

Dr. Warren was so kind and helpful. By the end of everything, we felt like he was part of the family. I cannot recommend him enough for someone who truly cares for animals.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience , for something so difficult. Rebecca came into our home and made us feel so comfortable. We were able to take our time through the whole process , our sweet old man was comfortable and it was such a peaceful experience. I will always recommend her to anyone that has to go through this. Compassionate, Caring, Calm, and Loving. That's my experience with Dr. Kellie Ayle. I've had many pets but Gracie was not only special but she has a littermate and I was so worried about her with the loss of her sister. Dr. Kellie took her time, she gave us time to say Goodbye to our beautiful girl. She was thoughtful and did not mind as I cried the entire time. She let us know that Lily would be okay and to make sure she was eating. I can't even begin to think about the next step with Lily when the time comes, but I know I'll look to Dr. Kellie to help me with Lily also. God Bless Dr. Kellie, she makes the hardest time of your life, easier with her presence.

Our experience with Dr. Valentino was excellent. Her peaceful, calm personality put us all at ease. She sat on the floor with Liliy and explained every step of what she was doing and how Lily was feeling. Thank you .
