Verified Veterinarian
I’ve always had a love for animals and really enjoy science and medicine. Becoming a veterinarian always made sense to me. In my career at the zoo, I’ve been fortunate to participate in the conservation and care of many animals, including ensuring a good quality of life and a gentle, dignified death – when the time comes. Experiencing the in-home euthanasia of my two elderly cats last year helped me understand the impact an intimate, supportive experience has on the pet and their family. As I transition from zoo life, I am drawn to offer that same compassionate end of life care for other families in their time of need.
