Verified Veterinarian
I grew up rurally in South Jersey my closest friends were my dogs and the most freedom I had was in my books. In high school I was mentored by a Veterinarian who became a very good friend to me. I was very book smart, I loved animals and wanted to help people so I found a way to help people in what should be one of the brightest parts of their lives: their pets. I love to partner with owners to make and implement care decisions on behalf of their furry family. I have been offering in-home euthanasia in my practice since 2021 and once you've seen it done its hard to imagine doing anything else when it is possible to choose. Euthanasia is an important moment, it is letting a loved one go where we can't follow. It is a death, a wake, and a funeral all at once. It is a moment of great intimacy. It is a last choice made on the behalf of a life a family has shepherded and shared in. It is worth doing this thing as well as it can be done and it can be done very very well.
