Dr. April was kind, friendly, efficient and thorough with her explanation of the steps about to be taken. She allowed us ample time to prepare for our beloved cat's last moments with us. After, she was tender with our cat and with us.
Today she brought our cat's cremains to us. Again, she was kind with us. We appreciate her and recommend her to you if you need this service.

Saying goodbye to our beloved dog Luna was one of the hardest decisions our family has ever had to make. We chose an in-home euthanasia so she could be surrounded by the people who loved her most, and we are incredibly grateful that April was the one who guided us through that experience.
From the moment she arrived, April brought a calm, compassionate presence into our home. She didn’t just perform a service — she took the time to truly connect with Luna and with each of us. What could have felt clinical or rushed instead became something deeply personal and meaningful.
April gently walked us through every step, allowing us the time and space we needed. There was no sense of urgency, only care, patience, and quiet understanding. Being able to hold Luna, to say our goodbyes in the comfort of our home, and to have April there guiding us with such empathy made an incredibly painful moment feel, in some way, peaceful.
It takes a special kind of person to do this work. April carries not only professionalism, but a rare kindness and emotional strength. We had just met her, yet by the end of the evening, it felt like she had been part of our lives for years.
We are deeply grateful for her — for coming on such short notice, for her gentle heart, and for helping us carry the weight of that moment.

5.0Mar 19 2026 by Maria B. Dr. April Le Blanc is a kind, compassionate and wonderful human being. She sat with me as I went back and forth, unable to decide whether to put my 20-year old cat down. I ultimately decided it was time and she expertly and painlessly euthanized my little boy. I couldn't have asked for a better person to help me through a very difficult time.

5.0Feb 07 2026 by nicholas s. My kitty Zinnia was so stressed going to vets in the past, especially after having serious eye surgery, and many treatments, pills and ointments, which made her frantic at the vet.
It was wonderful to find that she could be euthanized at home when the time came. I was so grateful that Dr. April Leblanc from Coda Pets could come to our home and put Zinnia to sleep very peacefully while she was lying on my lap. She also had time to speak with me before she came out, and before the process when she arrived at our home. As she described, the~two second sedative shot did cause her to jerk due to pain and made one small meow, but that was the only difficult part. After a handful of minutes, Dr. Leblanc then shaved, a little fur off her leg and inserted an IV to give her the medication that would make her go to sleep. receiving the medication did not bother my kitty at all and she passed away fairly quickly. Dr. LeBlanc stayed and chatted with us a little as I kept her on my lap. We decided to bury her in our backyard (at least 3 feet deep.) so I just held her for a while longer after the doctor left.
Highly recommend! I doubt I will ever have another pet put to sleep at a vet’s office.

5.0Mar 02 2026 by Mary F. Dr. Le Blanc was exactly what our grieving household needed under the circumstances. Our very ill elderly dog tried his best to stand and bark to defend his home when Dr. Le Blac arrived at the door. She immediately moved toward him with a calming voice and outstretched hand, stroking his head and letting him know he could relax. She continued to pet him for nearly 30 minutes while we discussed our trepidations making this decision. Her evaluation of Alvin's condition and apparent suffering matched that of his regular veterinarian and our own sad realization. Dr. Le Blanc explained the process and answered our questions before taking any further action. She paused at each step confirming our and Alvin's readiness to proceed to the next step. We very much appreciated her considerate and calm approach throughout the process. She truly recognized how difficult and emotionally challenging euthanizing our beloved family member of over 16 years was impacting us. She approached her tasks with reverence and respect and gave us the support and time we needed at each stage. It was a blessing for us and for Alvin that relief from his suffering could occur at home in his favorite spot on the couch while we softly stroked our loving buddy's head and back until Dr. Le Blanc quietly said he's gone now.
I'm so grateful that Alvin's last memories were not of his typically traumatic car trip to the vet's office, encountering the other pets in the waiting area and ultimately being put on a cold table in a strange room with various assistants moving about before the vet entered to begin the procedure. I doubt his vet would have been able to spend much time with him given her other office demands. Transporting Alvin would have been physically painful and emotionally taxing on him and on us. It would have only served to heighten his anxiety and distress. Saying goodbye and leaving him there afterwards would have left us questioning whether we'd done the right and best thing for our dear pet and beloved family member during his last moments with us.
Choosing a home-visiting vet from lists on web sites could have resulted in getting a skilled professional who got the job done but without much heart or meaningful connection to the pet and other household members. That is what we feared most and would have brooded over for months to follow. Destiny lead us to Dr. LeBlanc and her expertise and style was exactly what we had hoped for. We are eternally grateful and highly recommend you strongly consider her if you are in a similar situation.

5.0Feb 02 2026 by Steven B. We are extremely glad we choose to have April help us with this very sad moment for our family. She was able to provide the understanding, professionalism, and emotional support that we needed, helping us and our 10-year-old daughter to say goodbye to our elderly dog. In the time she was with us, April was present and open. She didn't treat us as clients; she treated us as new friends and that made all the difference. We recommend her without any hesitation.

5.0Jan 21 2026 by Gemeelah E. I’m truly grateful for CodaPet’s service in helping us schedule a qualified veterinarian on the same day. After assessing my cat’s quickly declining quality of life, being able to arrange a timely appointment was a bittersweet relief that ensured we didn’t prolong his suffering.
Dr. April Le Blanc arrived on time and immediately put us at ease. She took the time to understand our cat’s condition, introduced herself to him gently, and answered all our questions with compassion. With over 30 years of veterinary experience—and as a parent to many of her own pets—her empathy and expertise were evident in every step of the process.
Although saying goodbye to my dear cat was heart-wrenching, I’m grateful that his passing was peaceful and that I could be right beside him, doing everything I could to keep him at ease.
Having the service done at home allowed our other cat to be present, which we hope helps her understand his passing. Dr. Le Blanc gave us all the time we needed afterward and offered heartfelt comfort during an incredibly difficult moment.
I’m deeply thankful for her kindness and professionalism. I highly recommend Dr. April Le Blanc and CodaPet for anyone needing compassionate end of life care for their pet.
She also followed up with grief-support resources, which I truly appreciate.

5.0Jan 18 2026 by Cathy K. Dr April was so wonderful with not only our sweet Emily at the end of her life but also with our other pets, one of whom probably made her job a lot more difficult (by nature of being a golden retriever). She was deliberate with all her movements and was so respectful with Emily both during and after the procedure, which we so appreciated. If only we were given such dignity at our end.
