Vet Serves in Springfield, MO

Dr. Jesse Blades

Verified Veterinarian

Why I provide at-home pet euthanasia

I was inspired to become a veterinarian due to the interactions held with our family farm vets. My family knew how to manage health and wellness for a multitude of animal species. We knew how to correct the most common illnesses and situations occurring in farm settings. However; if we could not solve an issue or did not understand the best management strategy to move forward, we listened to the advice of our veterinarian. This person was a trusted friend and mentor, providing non-biased views for reflection and interpretation to assist my family and others in the community how to move forward. Our veterinarian's goals were to lead, show compassion, help in need, and be an essential part of our community. This is something I've always strived for, to be a helpful pillar embedded in my community. Whatever the situation is, I want to improve the process and assist those going engaged in it. We all need help sometime in our lives, I simply want to be able available to help in my professional capacity for the betterment of both clients and their beloved pets.
