Dr. Melissa Goldberg

Dr. Melissa Goldberg is a seasoned veterinary professional with over twenty years of experience in general practice and surgery. A lifelong animal lover from South Jersey, she earned her DVM from Iowa State University and is currently pursuing a Master's in Management and Organizational Leadership at Delaware Valley University. She also holds an undergraduate degree from Rutgers University. Throughout her career, Dr. Goldberg has been deeply engaged in both clinical practice and community service, including non-profit rescue initiatives and the development of a low-cost veterinary clinic. She now serves as the Director of Operations at Heart + Paw, where she supports veterinarians' professional growth and operational excellence. Her clinical ethos emphasizes compassionate end-of-life care, particularly in facilitating in-home euthanasia—a service she regards as a vital expression of dignity and comfort for pets and their families.
