FAQs
The total cost includes the in-home pet euthanasia service fee, any travel fee (if any apply), and a platform fee. Additionally, depending on your choice, fees may apply for cremation services or keepsakes.
During your appointment, your vet will confirm your aftercare selection with you. If you choose to arrange cremation services, your vet will oversee your pet’s transportation to a local facility for cremation. If your preferred cremation option includes the return of your pet’s ashes to you, your vet will discuss the process to reunite you with your pet's ashes and the anticipated time frame during your appointment
Yes, upon arrival the veterinarian will assess your pet. This can look different than an “nose to tail” examination in a clinic setting and will focus more on the pet’s history and quality of life.
It is not uncommon to have doubts about whether the time is right. If you’ve taken the Quality of Life Questionnaire and are still unsure, we recommend consulting with your family veterinarian before scheduling an appointment.
Rest assured, if you book an appointment, your in-home euthanasia veterinarian will let you know if they do not believe that euthanasia is appropriate at this time.
You can expect your veterinarian to be in your home from 20-60 minutes, depending on how much of that time you need or want throughout the process.

Dr. Keri Wasmoen was very good during the whole procedure and gave us plenty of time with our dog when she was comfortable and asleep. The whole procedure was done professionally and peacefully.
Kind, caring, brought treats for my dog and comforted him through the whole process. Couldn’t ask for a better vet to come and help ease our dogs pain and our minds. Thank you 🙏
One of the hardest experiences and decisions me and my family has had to make, Dr Karen made this the easiest time something like this could have gone. Very grateful for how helpful and understanding she was!
Dr. Alexandria Bufford was very professional and kind. She came to our home same day, on a Sunday night when my dog took a turn for the worst. She even hand delivered his remains after. I would recommend her services. She was very helpful during a difficult time.
When our beloved cat Lily's health declined very quickly, we found ourselves needing to make a difficult decision and arrange an at-home euthanasia appointment on short notice. We were so grateful that Dr. Cory was available. From the moment she arrived, she was kind, patient, and compassionate. She never made us feel rushed and gave us all the time and space we needed to say goodbye. Although we were absolutely heartbroken, she made a devastating day feel as peaceful as possible. The little details meant so much. The basket and decorated car trunk were such a thoughtful and beautiful way to honor our sweet girl. She even sent us a sympathy card afterward, which was an incredibly kind gesture. We are beyond thankful for the care Dr. Cory showed Lily and our family. It was worth every penny, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any pet parent facing one of the hardest parts of loving a pet.
Dr. Jenny K was very attentive, fully explaining the process when we had questions pertaining to putting our 13yr old 75lb black lab mix to sleep due to cancer. She came fully prepared with a lot of wet and soft treats to calm him when administering the sedative. Our family took some time to say our final goodbyes to our good boy and were able to take some fur as a keepsake. We opted for communal cremation, his remains with other pets will be mixed into an artificial reef eventually. It was a good way to go, home and comfortable surrounded by his people.
