FAQs

The total cost includes the in-home pet euthanasia service fee, any travel fee (if any apply), and a platform fee. Additionally, depending on your choice, fees may apply for cremation services or keepsakes.

During your appointment, your vet will confirm your aftercare selection with you. If you choose to arrange cremation services, your vet will oversee your pet’s transportation to a local facility for cremation. If your preferred cremation option includes the return of your pet’s ashes to you, your vet will discuss the process to reunite you with your pet's ashes and the anticipated time frame during your appointment

Yes, upon arrival the veterinarian will assess your pet. This can look different than an “nose to tail” examination in a clinic setting and will focus more on the pet’s history and quality of life.

It is not uncommon to have doubts about whether the time is right. If you’ve taken the Quality of Life Questionnaire and are still unsure, we recommend consulting with your family veterinarian before scheduling an appointment.

Rest assured, if you book an appointment, your in-home euthanasia veterinarian will let you know if they do not believe that euthanasia is appropriate at this time.

You can expect your veterinarian to be in your home from 20-60 minutes, depending on how much of that time you need or want throughout the process.

A few days ago our special boy JJ who was part of our family for over 16 years crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. The love he gave to us unconditionally for all those years deserved to be returned by keeping him comfortable in his final hours. Dr. Pugh came to our home at this difficult time and helped us through so we could love him until his final moments and even beyond. She was kind and compassionate not only to JJ but the entire family, as well. Thank you Dr Pugh for your love and kindness.

We said goodbye to our dear Mr. Griffin in the comfort of our home while he laid on his favorite cushion. So peaceful. It allowed us to grieve openly and share the process together. Dr. Wolfingbarger was wonderful and her compassion was so comforting.Thank you for allowing us to say goodbye to our boy in such a peaceful manner.

Dr. Evymarie Prado Sanchez helped my husband and me put our beautiful solid-white Isabella husky to rest. I could not ask for a more compassionate, thoughtful, and informative veterinarian to be with us during one of the hardest moments of our lives. She answered every question we had with gentleness. She made sure Ash (our pup) was comfortable and completely at ease as she took her last breath. My husband and I cannot express our gratefulness for the kindness we were met with. Thank you Dr. Evymarie Prado Sanchez - Tiffany and Steven Sinakhot

It's strange to say it was a great experience losing your dog but I think this is as good as it gets. Dr Parks was kind, patient and compassionate. I loved being with my girl her last moments and I know she was comfortable being at home.

Dr Cassandra responded quickly on a Saturday evening, and was very sympathetic. She talked to the children and cares about the feelings of those she are helping.

This service made this difficult experience more manageable. Our pet was able to pass with comfort and dignity in his own home. Dr. Kelli Bays was professional and caring and would recommend her.
