Susan D. from Graton on Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald: Dr.Delia was wonderful, kind, caring, compassionate, nonjudgmental of me needing to make this very difficult decision. She was also very gentle with Yeshua and I could feel her love for animals come through with the way she talked with him. I know Yeshua could feel it too, as could my other two cats that were there witnessing the process. It has been two weeks now and I am having an incredibly hard time believing he is gone but it is very comforting knowing that I was able to allow Yeshua’s death to happen at home thanks to Codapet and to Dr. Delia. I would highly recommend her to anyone that chooses this kind of care for their beloved animal.
Gary J. from Sebastopol on Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald: Late one night in March our sweet 12 and a half year old rottweiler, Gracie, went into a rapid decline . We had to make the heartbreaking decision to let her go, but we wanted her to pass in the loving setting of her lifelong home, surrounded by her family. The next morning, a Saturday, we reached out to CodaPet to try to find a veterinarian who could perform in-home pet euthanasia. Although her appointment calendar showed no scheduling availability, Dr. Delia responded to our emergency needs with a phone call within minutes. She lovingly offered to come to our home at noon to help us in our time of need. Dr. Delia was so warm, calming and compassionate, we knew we had made the right decision. She took the time to get to know us and our Gracie. She gave us freedom to share sweet stories about our girl, while she stroked Gracie's face and allowed Gracie to get to know her. Although we were grieving, everything felt very loving and calm. Dr. Delia gently explained the whole process to us, and answered all of our questions, without there being any sense of rush. While petting and hugging our girl, we shared more happy stories from her life. When we finally felt we were ready to let Gracie go, Dr. Delia gently and lovingly helped her pass peacefully. Dr. Delia made one of the most difficult days of our lives a peaceful and loving experience. We can't thank her enough for being there for our Gracie, and for being there for us.
Kimberly H. from Rohnert Park on Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald: Dr. Delia was so compassionate and gentle. She gave us all the time we needed to say good-bye to our beloved Lola and treated Lola, and us, with loving kindness. Her thoughtfulness during a very difficult time was beyond measure. We are very grateful for her assistance.
Irene A. from Santa Rosa on Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald: She was very nice, sensitive and quick and basically made a heart breaking situation feel okay. I can’t think of a better way to end suffering at home without any stress for the pet. Highly recommended.
Peter on Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald: One never knows the exact right time to help a dog move on. Rusty was a friend and companion to our family for 14 years but the last months were hard for him. It became clear that he was in pain and his enthusiasm for life waned. Going to the vet was difficult for him. Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald provide a compassionate, thoughtful and very professional assistance to Rusty. She created an experience that allowed us to mourn our loss and watch Rusty leave comfortably and in no distress.
Toni W. from Sebastopol on Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald: Super informative about geriatric issues in dogs. Skillful with my stressed and defensive elderly dog, really helped him relax in her arms. Very thoughtful and compassionate. 100% recommend Dr Delia.

“I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get someone to come to the house. Another Vet gave me some names and one had a link to your web site, after reading about it, it was easy to book an appointment. The Vet called the night before and I was able to talk to her about my concerns.” - Karen B., Guerneville, December 24, 2024
