FAQs

The total cost includes the in-home pet euthanasia service fee, any travel fee (if any apply), and a platform fee. Additionally, depending on your choice, fees may apply for cremation services or keepsakes.

During your appointment, your vet will confirm your aftercare selection with you. If you choose to arrange cremation services, your vet will oversee your pet’s transportation to a local facility for cremation. If your preferred cremation option includes the return of your pet’s ashes to you, your vet will discuss the process to reunite you with your pet's ashes and the anticipated time frame during your appointment

Yes, upon arrival the veterinarian will assess your pet. This can look different than an “nose to tail” examination in a clinic setting and will focus more on the pet’s history and quality of life.

It is not uncommon to have doubts about whether the time is right. If you’ve taken the Quality of Life Questionnaire and are still unsure, we recommend consulting with your family veterinarian before scheduling an appointment.

Rest assured, if you book an appointment, your in-home euthanasia veterinarian will let you know if they do not believe that euthanasia is appropriate at this time.

You can expect your veterinarian to be in your home from 20-60 minutes, depending on how much of that time you need or want throughout the process.

Having an in-hom service ito send yourfurry family member over the rainbow bridge was much less stressful for us and for Dax. He passed in surrounded by familiar sights, smells and family and in comfort. Dr. Bailey was great and kept us informed every step of the way and was very considerate and kind with Dax.

I don’t think I can adequately express our try for Dr. Stephanie Norman. She was so kind and explained everything to us and gave us great solace in knowing our beloved cat was in great hands. There were lots of tears, but she also reminded us to bring up good memories of our pet, and it helped us so much to be able to relate the good times. Every step was carefully planned and as we said goodbye, we knew we had made the right choice in having this in-home service. RIP, sweet Eris.

For the most heartbreaking day, I didn't know how I was going to survive it, we had an angel come- Dr. Angela De Villa helped us through this journey. I am glad I gave my precious friend Bunny (cat) in home pet euthanasia, so she can be around her family and not be scared in her last moments at a vet clinic. Dr. Angela came in so softly we didn't even notice her, she was kind and comforting during this hard time, she was the angel we needed on this day.

Making the decision to part with a beloved member of the family is never easy, but Dr. Laura made it a smooth and gentle process. Maggie Grace was able to leave peacefully in the home that she loved and was respectfully taken care of. We cannot thank you all enough for the peace that we have felt through this process.

Dr. Nicolette Michelli and CodaPet made it very easy to schedule an at home appointment. Dr. Michelli was friendly and helpful throughout the visit. It was very important that our other dogs have time to see Chase afterwards and Dr. Michelli provided us plenty of time to facilitate that. We were very grateful to have her!
