We had to say goodbye to our beloved 13.5-year-old Golden Retriever, Jess, on Easter Sunday, and Dr. Nicolette Michelli from CodaPet made one of the hardest days of our lives as bearable as possible. Jess had been battling lung cancer and declined very rapidly over the weekend. We had originally scheduled a Monday appointment, but her condition worsened so quickly that we needed to move it up to Sunday morning. Dr. Michelli immediately accommodated us and came to our home with such compassion and professionalism. From the moment she arrived, she was calm, gentle, and incredibly supportive. She walked us through the entire procedure step by step, answered all of our questions, and gave us the time and space we needed to be with Jess. Her kindness and quiet strength helped us through the overwhelming grief of that moment. She treated Jess with the utmost respect and dignity, helping our sweet girl cross the rainbow bridge peacefully and without pain. We are so grateful to Dr. Michelli for her empathy, expertise, and the care she showed both to Jess and to our family during such a painful time.
