Dr. Susie Chandler
Dr. Susie Chandler is a native of Midland, Texas, where she married her high school sweetheart and raised three daughters after earning both her undergraduate degree and DVM from Texas A&M University in 1979. She went on to own and operate her own small animal clinic as sole practitioner for more than 25 years before semi-retiring in 2011, bringing over four decades of veterinary experience to every family she serves. Her path to in-home euthanasia grew from a deeply personal moment: when she was present to help her sister's beloved schnauzer pass at home, her sister expressed through tears what a true blessing it had been. That experience stayed with Dr. Chandler, and it is what drives her today. She believes that pets deserve to say goodbye in the comfort of their own home, surrounded by the people who love them most, and she considers it a privilege to provide that for families in the Midland area. Outside of her work, Dr. Chandler is happily playing with her grandkids. She shares her home with Bea, her aged and enthusiastic beagle, Bette, a scrappy little white terrier rescue who has been part of the family for 13 years, and Roosevelt, a new kitten who joined after the loss of Franklin, the best cat ever.
