Outside of her professional life, Dr. Whitman enjoys spending time with her husband and children, working on DIY projects, exploring the outdoors, and making their house feel like home. She finds joy in caring for her houseplants and tending to her aquarium, which offers a calming retreat. Her family shares their home with three dogs—Baloo, Bridget, and Posey—and three cats—Sansa, Moose, and Binx—each of whom continually reminds her why compassionate end-of-life care matters so deeply.

Dr. Ramos was an extremely kind and caring vet who helped us through one of the hardest decisions we ever had to make for our sweet 17 year old cat, Misty. She was so patient and understanding and took the time to explain everything and gave us any time or privacy that we needed to say goodbye. I was very scared and very sad about having to euthanize my 18 year old cat. She had been part of the family since I was 16. Dr. Ramos was so gentle, compassionate, patient, and explained every step thoroughly. I have a lot of peace that I made the best decision for my girl. This is the best way to say goodbye to a friend. Beyond grateful for Dr. Ramos. The kindness, compassion, and empathy she showed to my family as we navigated the difficult decision to help our sweet girl cross the rainbow bridge was more than I can put into words. She answered every question, explained the process, and allowed us time to hold and love on our girl one last time. Dr. Ramos truly went above and beyond. We truly are so very grateful for everything she did for us. This was our first doing in-home euthanasia, and CodaPet made it such a smooth, seamless process. I was able to do everything using my phone, and no calls were necessary, which gave me the opportunity to continue to be present for our dog in her final hours.

Dr Nicole Ramos communicated with me multiple times before arriving and she was very professional and gentle towards our family when she arrived. Our Marley had a litter mate, Cheyenne that we were also concerned about and she answered all our questions. It was so peaceful and calm being at home. She made the experience above and beyond. I have put down at least 4 dogs but never in this environment, all of us agreed how positive the experience was during a painful time.

Dr. Whitman was kind and patient with both Kiwi our fur baby and us as we faced this sad decision. She gave us time as we went through the process and treated our girl with dignity. I loved that she was wrapped in a flower blanket when we sad our last good bye to her. The cremation service that Dr. Whitman used was also thoughtful. The wood box with her name on it and the velvet bag it came in was lovely. I would highly recommend Dr. Whitman when one has to face end of life with their fur baby.
