Dr. Jessica Ayers
I am able to help you with your bird and pocket pets too! The CodaPet platform doesn't yet allow you to choose pets other than dog or cat, so please reach out to me at jdayersdvm@gmail.com if you have a small exotic pet that needs my service. I will make every attempt to contact you within 4 to 8 hours, but I do not work overnights. As a veterinarian, I was very interested in the science and discovery behind all of the amazing advances in both human and animal medicine, so I entered into the Laboratory Animal Medicine field in 2009. Although I work full-time as a Lab Animal Vet at CSU, I see in family and friends and my own experiences that end-of-life pet care is very hard to deal with. The process of needing to take our pets into a clinic can be so stressful on both us and the pets and I think that being able to offer end of life care for pets in their own homes where they are most comfortable and where owners have privacy to grieve is a truly valuable service that I can provide to our community.
