Dr Josh made the worst time for us all much more bearable. He was so gentle and kind with our little dog. He explained everything very well and gave us space to be with our dog while each phase was administered. He allowed us to grieve and cry. He gave us as much time as we needed. He also followed up gently with grief resources for us. Dr Josh coming to our home where our dog was most comfortable made this process so much less stressful than it could have been otherwise. We highly recommend Dr Josh and will remember his kindness always.

Saying goodbye to our dog Nico was one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do, but Dr. Dzierga made the experience as peaceful and compassionate as it could possibly be. Our dog had cancer, and being able to let him go at home, in a place where he felt safe and loved, meant everything to us. Dr. Dzierga was incredibly kind, gentle, and respectful throughout the entire process. She gave us the time and space to say goodbye and treated Nico with such dignity and care. We will always be grateful for her compassion during such a difficult moment.

After my cat battled Kidney Disease for 3.5 years, her health suddenly declined. I knew early on that I wanted, if it was possible, to have my cat (Pretty) euthanized at home. When the time came, I scheduled the appointment with Dr. Katie Simpson. On the day of, Dr. Katie was very attentive with her communications. She texted when she was on her way to my home and when she was parking. Seemingly simple texts were helpful to me as they inched me into prepping for the inevitable. When Dr. Katie arrived, I could immediately feel warmth emanating from her, which put me at ease. She met Pretty and observed her and assured me that I had made the right decision at the right time. Words I needed to hear. Dr. Katie listened to my telling of how Pretty came into my life and interwove the process and what to expect with more storytelling. When it was time, Dr. Katie was gentle with Pretty and allowed me time to grieve my loss. Dr. Katie stepped out for a bit to give me a few minutes to say goodbye. When she returned, she had a blanket lined basket to remove Pretty, which was a bit of relief as I didn't know what to expect, but it felt like one last hug for Pretty. As a final showing of support, Dr. Katie sent a condolence note thanking me for sharing stories of Pretty. My words that day were heard which meant a lot. I cannot imagine I would have had this same experience had I taken Pretty to a vet. I would encourage anyone who looks at the cost versus that of a vet, and to seriously consider choosing the at-home option. Our senior dog, Joey declined rapidly overnight and I knew if we didn’t find a vet to come to our house- on a Sunday- we’d likely end up having to get him euthanized at an emergency vet while he was in agonizing pain. I found CodaPet- and Dr. Gonnering - through a Google search and filled out their inquiry for an urgent appointment at 8:12am. By 8:28am, Dr. Gonnering had text me to set up our appt for 11:30am. Communication was A+ and she arrived on time. She was very gentle and understanding and explained everything she was going to do and what we should expect. We were able to spend Joey’s last minutes with him, cuddling on our couch where he felt safe and comfortable. She made this extremely difficult time way easier for myself and my family. The price we paid- including a fee for an urgent appointment- was worth every penny and I’d pay it again if any of my pets are in need. Highly, highly recommend.

It takes a special kind of person to do this work, and I am so grateful for the kindness and professionalism shown to our family. Dr. Martin made our pet, and all of us, feel as comfortable and peaceful as possible in the privacy of our own home. The experience was so much more compassionate and gentle than a clinical setting; I don’t think I could ever go back to a vet’s office for this procedure again. Thank you for helping us say goodbye with such dignity and love.

Dr. Izlar was so respectful and caring during our time of need. Her professionalism and knowledge were also second to none. We were comforted knowing that our pug (Zoey) could rest peacefully in her home. We miss her very much.

Although it was a very sad situation, we felt so much peace, being able to put our beloved Dotty to rest at home. She had severe anexiety and always had to be medicated to go to the vet. This service was a blessing.

Dr. Izlar is a kind and professional individual who ensures that your pet’s last moments are treated with compassion and dignity. When we said goodbye to our cat Mr. Darkness, Dr. Izlar made sure that he and we were as comfortable as we could be given the delicate nature of the circumstances. I cannot recommend Dr. Izlar enough.

Dr Dover with CodaPet was wonderful when she came to my home to euthanize my dog Scout who was in late stage Cushings and it was his time. She explained everything in detail before starting the process and updated me with what to expect at each step. She was so kind to Scout and made sure he was comfortable until the end. I recommend her highly.

Putting down our beloved dog Nala was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. She was a member of our family, and I couldn’t imagine life without her. When we knew it was time it was extremely important to us to have at home euthanasia. Taking her to the vet always made her so anxious. I couldn’t imagine having her last moments be somewhere stressful. She needed to be at home. Dr. Carolyn arrived with the grace and tranquility of an absolute angel. She clearly and calmly explained the process and gave us some time to say our goodbyes. When it was finally time, Nala was able to pass away peacefully, cuddled in my arms in front of our fireplace - one of her favorite spots. I’m grateful every day for Dr. Carolyn’s kind, professional presence. She gave us comfort and peace at a very difficult time. I highly recommend her to anyone needing her services.

Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the hardest moments a pet owner can face, but having a compassionate veterinarian come to our home made all the difference. When it was time for our cat to cross the Rainbow Bridge, we wanted her final moments to be peaceful, familiar, and filled with love. Dr. Sara Gardhouse gave us exactly that. From the moment she arrived, she was incredibly kind, gentle, and respectful. She took the time to explain everything, never rushed me and allowed me to hold and comfort my cat in her favorite spot at home. The atmosphere was calm and dignified, which helped turn an incredibly painful moment into something beautiful and meaningful. My cat was able to pass peacefully, surrounded by the people and the home she loved. We are so grateful for the compassion and professionalism shown during such a difficult time. If you ever have to make this heartbreaking decision, having someone who treats your pet and your family with such care is truly priceless. It was the best experience we could have hoped for under the circumstances, and we will always be thankful for the kindness shown to our beloved cat in her final moments.
