Why I provide at-home pet euthanasia

I was good at math and science, and liked taking care of little critters like gerbils and hamsters that I had through the years. In-home euthanasia, though always sad on one level, is a celebration of life and the important place our pets share in our families and daily existence. It is hard to say goodbye to a dear friend, but in-home euthanasia lets them pass peacefully, on a high, no longer in any pain, surrounded by familiar smells and the most important people in their lives. It is a gift that we can give when the body is failing so that there is no more suffering or worry.
