Verified Veterinarian
I have spent the majority of my career as a spay/neuter veterinary surgeon, helping thousands of animals live healthier lives while also reducing the number of unwanted pets. That work taught me the importance of compassion, prevention, and service to both pets and their families. Over time, I felt called to focus on another important part of veterinary medicine—end-of-life care. I believe every pet deserves to pass peacefully in a familiar place, surrounded by people they know and love. When I’m not working, I enjoy mountain biking, hiking, and camping with my four-legged best buddy Hopper, visiting my son at Clemson, who is continuing the Tiger tradition, and spending time with my daughter, who is a senior in high school. I know personally the comfort and joy animals bring to our lives, and it’s so important to honor them with dignity and love at the end. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside families during such an important time. My approach is guided by empathy, compassion, and respect—for both the pets and the people who cherish them.

Dr. DuBose was amazing. She made the whole situation a very calm and relaxed experience. She reached out several times before arriving to the house to let us know where she was. When she arrived, she immediately got down to the dog’s level, started to sooth him as well as walk us through the process. He was able to go peacefully in the comfort of his own living room while we all talked about our experiences with our beloved pet. She went above and beyond afterwards, checking in on grieving process and our well being. I would absolutely recommend her when that time comes for your loved one. Thank you Dr. DuBose
She communicated well throughout the process; professional; kind & compassionate. She facilitated Lucy’s passing peacefully and humanely. I highly recommend her.
Dr. DuBose genuinely cares, and is very compassionate throughout the process. She was able to come on short notice, on a Sunday, which definitely helped ease a difficult time, and kept my pet from any prolonged suffering. I would recommend her not just for pallative care, but for all veterinary services.
Dr. DuBose was so kind and respectful during this difficult process. We appreciated her gentle spirit and kindness towards us and our sweet baby.
Dr. DuBose was very patient and understanding with us as we struggled with deciding what was best for our pet. She provided helpful guidance and kindly gave us all the time we needed to consider our options.
Dr Laura was kind, empathetic, and very patient with my elderly mom and the euthanasia process for her 18 year old kitty. There is nothing easy about losing our family pets. The service provided by this group of vets is invaluable in the grieving process. We had used this same company 3 months prior for our 15 year old dog and we experienced the same compassion and care. The sense of comfort and peace for everyone involved is priceless. Thank you for such a beautiful service!!
