We used the at home euthanasia services of Dr. Kristina Pugh for our cat Cricket. I am very thankful for the comfort she was able to provide us. The process was very smooth and professional in the comfort of our own home. Dr. Kristina provided a paw print for keepsake and helped us with after care arrangements. The peaceful, radiant vibe of Dr. Kristina is exactly what I want if I ever have to use at home euthanasia services. If the time comes when I have to do this again I will surely contact Dr. Pugh.

We needed to say goodbye to our handsome boy of 18 years, and it was honestly the hardest day of my life. We wanted to do it at home to make things easy on him and us. Dr. Kristina was compassionate, caring, and handled our cat's needs as though he were her own. Her bedside was amazing, and she explained every step of the way to us so we knew what to expect and how he would be feeling. She even gave us time to let the other 2 cats say goodbye.

She helped us understand the process and helped us to help our other pets see the kitty after she passed away so they knew she was gone. She was gentle, didnt try to distract us with small talk, explained everything calmly and fully. She was so assured and calm that it made us feel all that much better. She had the strength we needed to pull through for our daughter.
We had two other dogs with us and they were able to be there for their sisters passing. Dr. Kristina was able to explain all the signs to watch out for and what could be expected from our other dogs not just through the process but over the next few weeks as we grieve. Some of it I expected and other things I learned for the first time and was glad that someone had told me so i could better care for my surviving sons.
Having the other dogs with her and ti smell her at the end, that was the most important thing to us. The second most important thing was to not give our dog extra stress. Her final moments were pain free for the first time in months, being held by her family in her own bed and with her brothers by her side. That to me is priceless and why we chose Codapet, and they are lucky to have Dr. Kristina work with them.

She would get so worked up and we just knew we didn’t want her last moments to be scary. So when the day came where her life wasn’t quality, we knew we wanted to have in-home euthanasia done. After contacting several local companies, we were relieved to find CodaPet and even more relieved to have Dr. Kristina be available within a few hours.
She was an amazing comfort in such a sad time and explained everything. She loved on our girl before even sitting down, and complimented her over and over. When the time came, she was respectful, gave us time and space and listened as we told stories about our girl.
It is slightly more expensive than the vets office, but it was 100% the right choice for our baby.
