Why I provide at-home pet euthanasia

I decided that becoming a vet was my calling at a very young age after I became obsessed with horses, cats, and dogs. I determined early on that becoming a vet would be the best way to spend my days with animals. As a veterinarian, I have had the opportunity to euthanize my own animals at home and felt like that was the best gift I could give them. Knowing how much it meant to my own pets helped me to realize the importance of giving pets a peaceful passing at home.

On a very difficult day Dr Hart was so supportive, compassionate and professional. She informed us of the process answered all questions and let us set the timing to ensure our Clohe was as comfortable as possible. That was what was most important to us. She reassured us that we made the right decision at the right time for our Clohe bug.

Dr. Hart was so kind, thoughtful and empathetic. Her calm, caring demeanor made a difficult decision easier to handle. She allowed me to grieve my way and take as much time as I needed. I will definitely recommend Dr. Hart to any of my friends who may have to go through this.

My family and I felt comfortable and supported as we said goodbye to our family member Leia. Dr. Hart really was perfect coming into our home and helping us say goodbye with love. I am thankful she was the vet that we chose.

Dr. Hart was very kind and compassionate when she was in our home. She explained each step thoroughly and gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes. I would highly recommend her if you need to say goodbye to your pet.

Unfortunately we had to use this service twice in a short amount of time. Dr. Katharyn Hart was our first caregiver for our boy, Wrango and Dr. Lori Thomas was our caregiver for our old gal, Shyloh. They both showed an amazing amount of compassion with our pups, were patient with us as we went through the experience and were so thoughtful in answering any questions we had. They both made the experience very peaceful for all involved and though we were/are heartbroken, knowing that our pups were in the hands of these 2 vets, made it a bit better.
