Why I provide at-home pet euthanasia
I became a vet because of how important veterinary care was to the success of my family's farm. I loved being able to watch our farm vets work on our cows. I've spent over 10 years working in small animal veterinary clinics and have seen how stressful the process of euthanizing an animal in a clinic can be. There are other clients, loud noises, and emergencies. In-home euthanasia provides a calmer environment that the pets and families are familiar with to reduce the stress for everyone involved. I always worried about clients having to drive home from a clinic while distraught, and in home euthanasia eliminates that worry.

Dr. Jackson was professional and compassionate during this difficult time. Jasper was not just my rescue dog, but a part of my family for nearly 18 years. Dr. Jackson explained the pet euthanasia process and allowed me to be near Jasper and a part of this peaceful process in our own home. He is no longer in pain and resting in heavenly peace.
We are very thankful that Dr Jackson could come to our home to help my bunny cross over. When my first bunny passed, it was very traumatic in a vets office and while he was in holding in the back waiting to be seen he passed and I never wanted that experience ever again.
