Why I provide at-home pet euthanasia

My father instilled in me his love of animals from a young age. I was privileged to be able to allow my 15 year old Golden Retriever, Annie, a peaceful passing at home, in the spot she chose. I want to be able to provide that same peace and comfort for other beloved pets and their owners.

What pet parents are saying

Dr. White was so kind and gentle with our 11 year old English Mastiff. Our dog was scared and disliked the vet offices. We loved our dog so much but it was time due to multiple safety issues with her heart condition and her collapsing. The Doctor made it peaceful. My dog was comfortable with her. The 3 step process made it painless. Our whole family was there to support and say goodbye. We thank CodaPet and Dr. White very much. We are sad to see her go but we know we did the right thing.

Firstly I wish I could give Dr.White and the staff at Codapet 30 stars!!! It was above and beyond all my past experiences. My companion of 19 years had a beautiful peaceful passing. I couldn't ask for a better experience given the circumstances. Dr. White has a calming and peaceful presence. She is a beautiful human being. I really can't say enough...my very humble gratitude. Thank you it was the most difficult decision of my life. Again thank you...Dr.White and the office staff who really helped calm me down. Whatever religion...bless you all.❤❤❤ I will be recommending you all to all the people I know.

Dr. White made it possible for us to say goodbye to our baby boy Radar where he was happiest, in his own backyard. The sun was shining on him as he gently moved on to wait for us. Saying goodbye has been more difficult than we ever imagined, but because of Dr. White’s compassionate care we remember only peace and love, up until the very end.

Courtney White is a veterinarian who truly cares about all living beings, including pets and non-pets, and works daytime caring for rescued animals. I am thankful that she was available the very evening after a catastrophic setback experienced by my cat that morning. Three months later, I happen to see her at the rescue place, and she remembered (I don't know how many she services) my cat's passage. I was impressed. I have recommended her service to others who have older pets -- knowledge is good, for "just in case." I of course miss my cat but it is nice to have a sense of reassurance that she went peacefully.

Chloe was the perfect dog (for me). To lose her is heartbreaking. Without ever meeting Dr Courtney White, I felt an immediate connection. She was very intuitive, helping us navigate a very personal and difficult decision. Chloe had become extremely anxious and confused lately, my biggest concern was that she not experience more of that. Dr. Courtney saw to it! My sweet little dag died very peas fully in my arms.
