Verified Veterinarian
I've always felt the passing of our beloved pets deserves more time than is possible in the clinic setting and also our beloved companions deserve to have their last moments in their safe space not the sometimes anxiety producing veterinary clinic for some pets. Additionally, I encourage pet owners going through this difficult time to share a few words or stories of their beloved companions and even choose song(s) to play. I am sensitive to any cultural, religious or spiritual ceremonial aspects that owners may want to include to help honor their pet on their final passage.

Dr. Bates provided exceptional care and compassion during one of the most difficult moments of our lives. From the moment she arrived, she treated Callie with dignity, gentleness, and deep respect, and she showed genuine empathy for what we were going through. Her calm presence and thoughtful approach made an incredibly painful experience feel more peaceful and manageable. She took the time to ensure Callie was comfortable and that we were ready, never rushing us, and always speaking with kindness and understanding. This was such an important and emotional act, and Dr. Bates handled it with a level of care that we will never forget. She truly made it easier to say goodbye. We are forever grateful.
This was my first experience with having an in- home euthanasia service for my dog. I appreciate the careful and thoughtful way Dr. Bates took care with my dog having the procedure and the way she handled my dog that was a witness to it. Although, it was a very sad situation. She made us feel comfortable and walked me threw all the steps of the process. This put me at ease a bit and made my pups trip to rainbow heaven bearable.
I highly recommend Dr. Bates and will be referring her to my family and friends. She showed my dog and family compassion and kindness. Does her job like a true professional. Thanks again Dr. Bates.
Dr. Corrie is a professional but seemed like a friend at the same time. I have been spreading the word about how nice it was to have her come to our house for Gracie our dog. I recommend go to bed to everyone.
Dr. Bates is a wonderful, compassionate person. She was calm, patient and encouraged me to take the time I needed to say goodbye to my cat, Gus. She was careful to explain everything that she was going to do, and she handled the medical aspects with respect for Gus' dignity. I recommend her to anyone who needs her expertise.
Dr. Bates was a compassionate and steady presence during one of the hardest moments our family could face. By coming to our home, she created a peaceful, familiar space where our pet could be surrounded by love and comfort. Her calm guidance, kindness, and respect for both our beloved dog, who had been a cherished part of our family for 14 years, and our family made the experience as gentle as possible. In a moment filled with emotion, Dr. Bates offered dignity, empathy, and genuine care, helping our cherished companion pass peacefully. We will always remember her thoughtful presence and the comfort she brought to our family during this difficult time. Her support helped us find peace and healing as we said goodbye to a beloved member of our family.
