Verified Veterinarian
I spent much of my undergraduate career working as a veterinary assistant in several practices in Lexington and grew a love for the profession. As a practicing veterinarian I loved supporting the beautiful and irreplaceable human animal bond we all cherish. Going through the loss of my own pets, two dogs (Cooper and Momma) and one cat (Vinny) and utilizing an in-home euthanasia veterinarian to help me say a peaceful goodbye has sparked a passion in me to provide the same experience for others. There is something so beautiful about a pet being safe, comfortable and loved in their home environment when we are able to relieve their suffering and say our final goodbye. It is a privilege and an honor to assist with that process.

5.0 Mar 07 2024 by Jackie JDr Carrie was fantastic. She made this difficult experience bearable. She was very kind and compassionate and let us take as much time as we needed with our sweet pup. I would not hesitate to recommend her to friends and family.

5.0 Apr 07 2024 by Laura B.Our precious elderly cat had not been ill for long, but it became apparent that the end was near and she was in pain. Unwilling to watch her suffer unnecessarily, we scheduled an at-home euthanasia with CodaPet early Sunday morning. Dr. Everett contacted us shortly after. When she arrived later that morning, she was kind, knowledgeable and sympathetic. Our cat was given a peaceful end, curled up on the couch between her humans. By the end of the week we’d received sympathy cards from Dr. Everett, our vet, and had our girl’s ashes back home from the local crematorium. We are extremely grateful for Dr. Everett and CodaPet for granting our girl peace and making these final arrangements.
