Verified Veterinarian
I became a veterinarian because I have always loved animals and appreciated their beauty, resilience, and ability to adapt. Our pets allow us to share a unique bond where love, trust, and companionship are earned and nutured. I enjoy the challenges of veterinary medicine and being able to care for our pets and the families who love them. Working as an ER veterinarian, I am often asked if euthanasia is the most difficult part of my job. My answer is always no; I see it as the last act of love and compassion we can give our beloved pets. As difficult and heartbreaking it is to say goodbye, we have the ability to let them pass peacefully with loved ones by their side. By providing in-home euthanasia, a pet and family can say their last good-byes in the comfort of their home.

Putting down our beloved dog Nala was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. She was a member of our family, and I couldn’t imagine life without her. When we knew it was time it was extremely important to us to have at home euthanasia. Taking her to the vet always made her so anxious. I couldn’t imagine having her last moments be somewhere stressful. She needed to be at home. Dr. Carolyn arrived with the grace and tranquility of an absolute angel. She clearly and calmly explained the process and gave us some time to say our goodbyes. When it was finally time, Nala was able to pass away peacefully, cuddled in my arms in front of our fireplace - one of her favorite spots. I’m grateful every day for Dr. Carolyn’s kind, professional presence. She gave us comfort and peace at a very difficult time. I highly recommend her to anyone needing her services.
Dr. Yang is wildly empathetic and kind. I could not have asked for a better person to help my dog cross the rainbow bridge. She was professional and allowed me to mourn in the moment and explained everything she was doing before she did it to ease my mind. I highly recommend her and can’t thank her enough for helping out in such a hard moment.
I can't thank Dr Yang enough for who she is, and how she moved with such grace throughout the process for my Huckleberry. Her softness left quite a warmth in my heart, much alike the sunshine on his face. To know people and pets is truly a gift for our grieving process.
Our family is very grateful we were able to say goodbye to our beloved Johnnie in our own home will the aid of Dr Carolyn Yang from Codapet.
I used Dr. Yang for her at home euthanasia services and cannot recommend her enough! Scheduling was easy and prices were fair. She explained the process for me step by step to ease any nerves or anticipation. She was extremely compassionate and comforting through the entire process. As hard as it was to say goodbye to my baby, she was reassuring and I couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful transition.
