Verified Veterinarian
I was always drawn to animals as a kid. I was the kid at the birthday party in the corner petting the dog or cat. I loved all animals and tried to bring them all home. As an adult and veterinarian I love watching and helping to foster the human/animal bond. Seeing how bonded dogs and cats are to their owners is remarkable. I think being able to provide end of life care in a familiar environment where the pet is relaxed and surrounded by those that love them is one of the most kind and caring things we can do for our pets.

Dr Stewart was very kind and patient during her visit. She let us take our time to say goodbye and I cannot thank her enough for allowing us to slowly walk our Rusty boy across the rainbow bridge. I can tell she not only cares for animals at her practice site, but humans as well after my experience. Thank you
Dr. Stewart helped us through a very stressful time. She was very compassionate not only to us but also to our precious pup. Every step was explained and we had plenty of time to say our goodbyes. I would highly recommend Dr. Stewart, her service was a godsend.
Dr Stewart was very kind and compassionate. She took care of my dog and gave us the space and time to be there. I am thankful she can't to our home so we didn't have to discomfort or dog anymore.
We contacted CodaPet for an in-home euthanasia for one of our BMD's, Payton, partly because we're new to our area. The new vet that we had gone to, who diagnosed Payton with cancer, made us empty our pocket book on a blood test, ultra sound & basically no hope for her future. It was not a good visit. Dr. Anna Stewart was the vet who came to our home & we couldn't have asked for a better vet or a better person. We've had to put down many animals ourselves in the past & at a vets office (one in particular that was not a good experience) & we felt that it was time for our dogs to pass peacefully in their own home, in their favorite spot. Dr. Stewart is a very kind & compassionate person & she made one of the hardest things to do just a little bit more bearable. She was confident, knowledgeable & yet she made us feel like we had known her before meeting her that day. She was very thorough in her work & how she explained the entire process beforehand & then explained the process as we went along to make sure that we knew that Payton was in no pain the entire time. One of the wonderful things about Dr. Stewart is that she made it very apparent that she genuinely cared for Payton. Even after she had passed, Dr. Stewart helped us take Payton to her final resting spot. She didn't have to do that, but she did because she cared. People, in general, don't realize how much of your heart is taken away when a pet passes, but as hard as it was, it was the best experience in having to let one of ours go & it couldn't have happened without Dr. Stewart. Thank you, Dr. Stewart, for being the person & vet that you are & for helping us let Payton go so peacefully. You were truly a God send.
Dr. Stewart could not have been more compassionate, professional, patient, kind, and gracious during the final moments of our sweet kitty, Callie’s, life. Dr. Stewart throughly explained the entire process and took the time to interact with us and give us time and space to grieve throughout. I’m grateful for her skill as a vet and her compassion as a person, and could not recommend her more highly to anyone having to make this difficult decision.
Dr. Stewart was so amazing and sweet from the very first moment she stepped in my home. I struggled with the decision for a couple of weeks but finally decided I needed to put my selfishness aside and think about my sweet dog buddy. Dr. Stewart was so kind and patient. She explained the entire process, and I never felt rushed or pressured. It was a very sweet and comforting experience considering the circumstances. I highly recommend Codapet and Dr. Stewart.
