Why I provide at-home pet euthanasia
I was always drawn to animals as a kid. I was the kid at the birthday party in the corner petting the dog or cat. I loved all animals and tried to bring them all home. As an adult and veterinarian I love watching and helping to foster the human/animal bond. Seeing how bonded dogs and cats are to their owners is remarkable. I think being able to provide end of life care in a familiar environment where the pet is relaxed and surrounded by those that love them is one of the most kind and caring things we can do for our pets.

Dr. Stewart truly put at at ease. She was extremely caring and spent the time to get to know us and our baby. She walked us through the process and it was a very peaceful experience. We debated on taking him to the vet's office but ultimately decided it was worth the expense to have him be comfortable and for us all to be in a peaceful place for his passing.
