Verified Veterinarian
I was raised on a family farm near Trenton, Missouri. My parents raised livestock and taught me the business of farming. I was in both 4-H and FFA and did chores on the farm. At the county fair I showed the family’s livestock. During my childhood, my family pets were a Siamese cat named Cindy and a Dalmatian named Lady. Always learning, I have studied acupuncture and herbal medicine at the Chi Institute in Riddick, Florida. I believe clients should have choices including holistic services. My goal is to provide the very best conventional medicine and a full menu of complementary services for her patients.

Dr Roberts was very kind and calm.she put us at ease and made a very difficult task so much easier. It was on a holiday and we are so grateful for her services Being able to keep my dog at home was so much appreciated..she hated vet visits..I very much recommend this way when it's needed
Dr Amy was wonderful through the entire process of contacting us, having her in our home, and reaching out afterward. She was very in tune to our grief, and completely understood our desires for Lexi's last day. She gave wonderful words of encouragement and care.. to us and to Lexi. One of the things that really stuck with me was her telling us, "you gave her a gift". Making the decision to say goodbye to your pet is so hard--you always second guess your decision. Dr Amy made us feel like we had made the absolute right decision. Her calming presence was such a blessed thing on a very hard day.
Dr. Roberts was so compassionate and comparing. While losing a pet is traumatic, she could not have been more kind nor more patient in explaining to us each step of what would happen with our dog, Lincoln. I would strongly recommend Dr. Roberts' services for any family that would prefer to say goodbye to their pet at home. We were able to sit outside in the sunshine and surround Lincoln with love in his final moments. It was truly the best possible scenario for a difficult situation.
Was the most peaceful and smooth process. Could not have asked for a more compassionate and considerate veterinarian for the job. Made it as easy as it can be. We appreciate her so much! She came sooner than scheduled due increased urgency of the situation and we cannot thank her enough for the level of importance she put on the situation.
Dr. Roberts was very compassionate, knowledgeable, and caring. She gave us as much time as we needed. We weren’t sure we were making the right choice, but she reassured us with her medical advice. She even said we didn’t have to continue but talked to us honestly and with empathy. We believe we could not have gotten through without her.
It takes a special person to do what Dr. Amy does - not the medical process involved in ending a beloved animal's life, but the grace and compassion with which she handled that process. Even though she is accustomed to fur babies who are near death and to their grieving family members, she treated our Wiley and my husband and I like we were the only ones in the world. She is caring, calming, gentle and patient. The empathy she showed us helped make our sad day much less painful.
