Verified Veterinarian
Being raised around veterinary medicine, I came to appreciate the deep connection between humans and animals. That bond became even more personal when I met my “heart dog,” Carl—a big, goofy Rottweiler—during college. In my final year of vet school, Carl was diagnosed with cancer. Saying goodbye in an emergency room left me wishing for a more peaceful, intimate setting. That experience inspired me to offer in-home euthanasia, allowing pets and their families to share a calm, comforting farewell in the familiarity of home.
