Dr. Laurie Noe came to our home last weekend to offer in home pet euthanasia for our 13 year old cat who was suffering from kidney failure. It was a very painful time as Miles, our cat, had been a central part of our family for a decade. I had given Dr. Noe the heads up that our child had autism and that literal explanations about what she was doing would be appreciated to help him understand. Not only did Dr. Noe connect with my child in an impressionable way, she also came with such a compassionate and kind, gentle demeanor. Her wisdom from all her experience as a vet over the years gave us comfort that we needed to know we were making a justified (and hard) decision. There was good communication from CodaPet throughout and it was easy to schedule and pay for a same-day service. I highly recommend this company as well as, specifically, this vet. Thank you, Dr. Noe.

Saying goodbye to my best friend was the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make, but choosing in home euthanasia with Dr. Lauren Silvesti was the greatest comfort during such a difficult time. From the very beginning—starting with her supportive text messages days before our appointment—Dr. Lauren made the entire process incredibly gentle and empathetic. When she entered our home, she brought an immediate sense of peace and compassion, doing everything she could to make my companion feel safe and comfortable. She walked us through every single step, checking in gently before moving forward. My family and I are deeply grateful to have had her in our home that day. For anyone facing this for the first time: being there with your companion until the very end is a beautiful final gift we can offer them, in return for the lifetime of unconditional love they gave to us.

Dr. Carolyn Yang showed so much kindness and grace during a very sad time for our family. We are grateful that she was there for us when we knew it was time to say goodbye to our cat, Blueberry. The process was gentle and peaceful. Booking the service was easy and we communicated with Dr. Yang via text prior to our appointment. Today we received a letter of condolence which shows the deep level of care and respect this vet will have for your family.

Dr Stadler entered our home as a complete stranger greeted by our deep heartbreak as we reluctantly prepared to say goodbye to our handsome boy, Fenway. His litter mate brother, Wrigley, passed 8 months earlier and Fenway gave us much needed comfort and purpose while our hearts were still trying to mend. We weren’t prepared to say goodbye to him, but knew we could never be. Our boys were 13 and 13.8 years respectively and gave our family every ounce of joyful memories they could possibly give. Dr Stadler completed her assessment on a Saturday but honored our decision to give him another night to see if he could rebound from an illness that overcame him very quickly. The next morning she reached out first thing to ask how our boy was doing and we knew it would be a very difficult day of saying goodbye. We put his orthopedic bed on the deck during the coolerearly hours of the morning and watched the last sunrise with our beautiful boy. Dr Stadler arrived mid- morning and took our last photos with Fenway. While laying on his bed and favorite blanket, Dr Stadler gently administered a sedation that provided peaceful rest and with my hands cradling his head, Fenway crossed the rainbow bridge surrounded by our love. Though our hearts will take time to mend with this difficult loss, we take refuge knowing he isn’t struggling and are confident with our decision for this personal and peaceful transition. Dr Stadler exemplified professional and compassionate care for our beautiful boy and we are very grateful. We appreciate the opportunity to say goodbye to Fenway in his home while surrounded by love and beautiful memories. Dr Stadler departed that day with an understanding of the profound joy our labs, Wrigley & Fenway, brought to our family. Dr Stadler departed our home no longer a stranger, but as our friend. Thank you, Dr Stadler.

Like most pet owners I struggle with the idea of in home pet euthanasia. But I need to be quite honest. Whereas I am sad and will be for a while, the compassion shown to my cat and myself by Dr Christina Vernon somehow made the experience much better and I find days later my heart is lighter than I expected. I accredit this to Christina.

I want to thank Dr. Bernie Page. Doing this at home was the best decision for me, my pup and his sibling. I was able to say a proper goodbye, full of peace and love. Dr. Page and his family made that possible by setting the tone and supporting me through this difficult time.

Dr. Izlar was so amazing! We had to move our appointment up and she was so accommodating and understanding. She was so good with my big guy, very patient and caring, and such a calming presence. This was the hardest decision ever but I will always look back and know he got the best send off possible.

Dr Lydia was amazing, she was very caring towards us and Leo. She explained everything during the procedure. She cared for Leo as her own, even holding his paws as he crossed the rainbow bridge. This was our first time doing in home and would do it again when it is time for our other 2 babies to cross. I highly recommend doing in home euthanasia and Dr Lydia. The care from Dr Lydia and Codapet has been great during this hard time for our family

Dr. Gonnering was incredibly compassionate and made the difficult process of saying goodbye to our beloved Jackson hurt a little less. She made sure we were all comfortable before proceeding and allowed us the time we needed to say goodbye. If you have to make this decision, I cannot recommend her services enough.

Dr. Silberman was kind, caring, respectful, professional and compassionate. While the prospect of having to euthanize a pet is gut-wrenching, having the vet perform it at home, felt appropriate. Our beloved Sheba went to sleep in her own home, among family, and for that we are grateful. Dr. Silbermans kind words that we had done the right thing was most assuring. We had originally scheduled the procedure for four days out, but that morning we realized it was urgent. CodaPet was able to make a same day appointment, for which we are eternally grateful. Thank you.

Dr Delia showed so much compassion for both Abby and myself. She was a fountain of information and brought a very calming affect both to myself and Abby. I would highly recommend her to anyone that needs this type of care. Abby left this world very peacefully.

Dr. Torres came to assist us with our sweet old lab’s final vet appointment. She was truly amazing. She was so gentle and had the sweetest energy about her. We were so grateful to have found such a caring person to handle this tough situation. She had everything super covered and no part of us felt rushed at all in the whole experience. Thank you very much, we’d recommend you to anyone and everyone in this position.

When the time came to say goodbye to our beloved pet, we couldn't have asked for a more compassionate and caring veterinarian than Dr. Natasha Novik. From the moment she arrived at our home, Dr. Novik treated both our pet and our family with incredible kindness, patience, and respect. She understood how difficult the situation was and took the time to explain everything, ensuring that our pet was comfortable and that we never felt rushed. Her calm presence, genuine empathy, and professional expertise made one of the hardest days of our lives just a little easier to bear. The in-home experience allowed our pet to remain in a familiar, peaceful environment, and Dr. Novik handled every detail with grace and compassion. It was clear that she truly cares about both the animals she serves and the families who love them. We are deeply grateful for the comfort and dignity she provided during such a heartbreaking time. If you ever find yourself facing the difficult decision of saying goodbye to a cherished pet, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Natasha Novik. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Schmillen. She arrived, explained everything, and was wonderful with my cat, Babee. The whole process was individualized, dignified and sacred to me. It was an easy transition, and she truly “just went to sleep” peacefully. Thank you so very much!
