Pet Euthanasia In Macon, GA

For the first time in 40+ years of dog ownership I needed to seek in home pet euthanasia. Two and a half years ago our 15 year old pitbull mix sweetheart, Cassie, was diagnosed with cancer and given weeks to live. She defied the experts for over 30 wonderful months. But the time came to seek help and Dr. Melissa Magnotto was one of my vet's recommendations. I contacted Dr Magnotto who called me prior to her visit to explain the procedure and answer any questions. Immediately upon entering our home she greeted Cassie, comforted her and was genuinely interested in learning about Cassie as an individual and her life with us. I have been able to find solace in that everything was so peaceful at the end for Cassie and her family. Thank you Dr Magnotto for providing such a valuable service to the animal lovers of our world 🥰

Words cannot describe how kind and caring Dr. Daniela Lutri was. She made the process so much easier. It was very emotional, as it was unexpected. But my furry bestie was in the most comfortable place she could be in. I can’t imagine having to have loaded her up and taken her into the vet. That would have not only been traumatic on me, but on my furry pup as well. I would highly recommend Dr Lutri.

Dr. Christina was so warm, caring and sweet during the difficult time of putting our 19 year old cat down. She explained everything step by step so me and my kids knew exactly what to expect. She even provided a sweet grief coloring book to my kids. She was so gentle and thoughtful in handling my cat before, during, and after the appointment. I highly recommend her if you need to say goodbye to your sweet fur baby, as she made the heartbreaking experience as easy and peaceful as possible.

In home pet euthanasia - my senior, beloved collie recently declined rapidly, and his mobility became challenging. He was experiencing pain and on multiple pain medications. I struggled with what was best for him and for his quality of life. I knew it was time, and I didn't want to have to take him into the vet's office for his final moments. I contacted Dr. Derecka Alexander at Codapet, and she kindly was able to come to my house on short notice for in home euthanasia. My collie boy was surrounded by family and Dr. Alexander was both patient and caring, allowing us to spend some final moments with him. Dr. Alexander provided us with the most peaceful option for my sweet boy.

We had to put our Jack dog down. He had tumors growing everywhere and we tried to mitigate each challenge until the pain came in and Jack gave us the signal- it was time; he was done fighting. Oh that was so painful, I couldn’t even talk through the knots in my throat. I looked online and booked Dr. Lori without having to say a word to anyone. When she got here, she walked us through each step and gave us as much time as we needed before she did anything and through the process. His loss echoes in the house and our hearts but I’m so glad he got to transition on sleeping peacefully, surrounded by family, in his home, on his bed. The right sounds, the right smells, the right feels.Rest easy Jacky, we love you.

Dr. Martin made a very difficult time a bit easier with his kindness and empathy. He explained every step thoroughly and helped distract me a bit by getting me to talk about Missy's life. It was definitely a much more peaceful and much less stressful process than when my cat Bruce was euthanized at a clinic a few years ago. I very much appreciate him helping Missy find a peaceful end to her long life.

Saying goodbye and playing God at the same time was very hard. This was our 2nd dog we had to euthanize. The first time we went to the vet. The vet was kind and we felt it was the best experience it could be. The part that was hard, on top of the pain my dog was in, is that he was petrified of going to the vet. This only added to the stress for my dog. When we had to euthanize our second dog, we were fortunate to have the ER give is a flier for in home pet euthanasia. We are so grateful for this service, as we didn't know it was even available. It was so wonderful for our dog and family. No rushing around and our dog was able to relax comfortably all day as we we able to shower her with love and comfort her. Dr Jem was so caring and really understood what we were about to go through. She explained everything and asked us when we were ready. Though heartbreaking for our family, it was peaceful and a much more natural experience than taking her to the vet. Everyone has their own way of dealing with this situation, and for us, this was the best it could be under the circumstances.

It was the hardest thing in my life to let go of our beloved dog due to terminal illness. I was never ready until I realized that he is trying to say goodbye and he is ready to go. I miss him every second since then but also come to the realization that it was such a peaceful and beautiful moment between us. It’s hard enough to say goodbye to a piece of your heart. A family member, who no matter what was excited to see you. This process of in-home pet euthanasia was an absolute godsend.
