Dr. Seifman was born and raised in Washington, DC. He completed his undergraduate education at Brandeis University in 2008 and later earned a Postbaccalaureate Prehealth certificate from New York University in 2011. His veterinary studies took him to St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine, where he spent his clinical year at Auburn University and graduated in 2016. With nearly a decade of experience in various roles within the veterinary field, Dr. Seifman has served as a doctor, technician, and assistant. His professional focus is primarily on the care of cats and dogs, although he has also conducted research on avian diseases at the UC Davis-Turlock Laboratory. He has worked as a laboratory technician for IDEXX and is particularly concerned with the prevention of zoonotic diseases. Dr. Seifman enjoys a close-knit family life with his charming wife May, their two spirited children, Lily and Kai, and a reserved shelter dog named Ruby. In their free time, the family frequents parks and wineries and enjoys playing basketball and tennis.
