Dr. Lori Thomas is a compassionate and experienced veterinarian specializing in in-home pet euthanasia. With nearly 40 years of living in California and a career spanning over three decades, Dr. Thomas is deeply committed to serving the diverse community of pets and pet owners in the region. She earned her BS in Biology from California State University-Hayward in 2001 and later received her DVM degree from the University of California-Davis in 2006. After attending veterinary school, she has been based in Yolo County, appreciating the area's rich natural beauty and becoming a Certified California Naturalist. Dr. Thomas's journey in animal care began as a veterinary assistant, eventually leading her to train as an RVT and then pursue her passion for veterinary medicine. Her dedication to animals is reflected in her choice to transition from general practice to providing in-home euthanasia, ensuring pets experience a peaceful, loving farewell in their own familiar surroundings. With 18 years of experience as a veterinarian, Dr. Thomas understands the importance of offering pets and their families a compassionate end-of-life journey.
