Dr. Kit Warren's journey into veterinary medicine began with a childhood spent in Ethiopia, where a deep love for wildlife and nature took root. After completing an undergraduate degree in wildlife and fisheries at Mississippi State University, Dr. Warren pursued his dream of becoming a veterinarian at The University of Tennessee, College of Veterinary Medicine. With a diverse background in mixed animal medicine and small animal practice, Dr. Warren has honed his skills over the years, all while raising a family alongside his wife and their beloved dog and chickens. While Dr. Warren's initial passion lay in wildlife conservation, his career evolved to focus on the profound connection between pets and their human families. Throughout his time in veterinary practice, Dr. Warren discovered a deep fulfillment in providing compassionate end-of-life care to pets and their owners. He understands the importance of offering comfort and solace during these difficult moments and recognizes the significance of providing such care in the familiar surroundings of a pet's home. Beyond his veterinary work, Dr. Warren finds joy in the great outdoors, indulging in activities like kayaking, fishing, and woodworking. Although his move to Mississippi meant bidding farewell to their cherished flock of chickens, Dr. Warren and his family find solace and companionship in their loyal Australian Shepherd, Juniper. With a heart dedicated to serving pets and their families, Dr. Kit Warren strives to make every pet's final moments as peaceful and dignified as possible, ensuring they are surrounded by love and comfort until the very end.
