I know he will be gone soon.
All I can do is pray that he can stay comfortable enough to pass peacefully at home. This is where he feels safe and loved. He hates the leash and he hates the vet and too much noise. My heart is shattered… I pray that I carry the brunt of the pain and he can enjoy what time he does have. I am comforted by this site as he is at the time not in any serious distress or pain and I am better able to enjoy this time with him. I just hope he can slip away comfortably and at home with me.
