No Breed(M) 3 yo
Euthanasia because of bad conditions of life and no way to re-home
I have a really difficult situation here. I own 3 horses, long story short, I had a big argument with my mother because of them and lost support from her side of the family completely. And I'm a young student, making a living for myself and my horses, barely. A year ago,one person volunteered to help me take care of the horses while I wasn't able to,no money's asked. But when I wanted to take my horses back since I got on my feet properly, the person asked me to pay back the money and it was a very large sum to pay all at once. I managed to move 2 horses, while 1 stayed back there until I pay the money. For a few months now, I have been trying to get that money, but it's nowhere near it and all that while that 1 horse still stays at that place and I see he's not doing well at all, he's getting thinner and looks horrible. I don't know what to do,but I don't want him to keep suffering and there's no way at all to re-home him ,so I decided maybe it's best to put him down? It may take me at least 2 years to pay off the whole debt and this whole time he would be suffering in bad conditions. I don't want that for him,but it's also really hard to let him go completely, because I want him home,to live and have a good life. Is it the right thing to do,to put him down?
